Ace caught first pokemon

"Yeah, I am quite hungry, what you have?" he asked

"I don't have much. All I have got is just a cooked fish, as I have been sitting here for only a little while." James grabbed the fish and handed it to Ace. "There," he said, then he walked a few feet away and sat down, his pokemon following him. They were still keeping an eye on Ace in the event he would attempt to escape.

Ace ate the fish "alright then, I'll have a pokemon battle" he said letting Petilil out

James stood up, knowing that since Ace had released one of his pokemon, that it was time to battle. "Ya know, this is gonna be fun. Umbreon, are you ready," he asked his pokemon, which replied with much confidence. "Alright, then get in their. You get to go first," James said, and the umbreon ran in front of the trainer. "I'd like you to have the first move, as I am the challenger," he said.

"Great, Petilil sleeping powder, now!" Ace called out, Petilil launched some powder at the opponent

Umbreon looked at the powder, wondering what exactly was happening. Eventually it knew exactly what was because it began feeling sleepy. It stepped to the side, then stepped back, and finally gained balance, though it was asleep now.

"Now Leech Seed" Petilil shot seeds at the Umbreom

The seed hit umbreon, and you could guess it probably stuck, because it disappeared. A moment later, the umbreon got drained slightly, and it woke up. "Umbreon, tackle the petilil," James said. Umbreon, now intent on a little revenge, started dashing toward the petilil, and prepared to tackle it.

Petilil got hit "Absorb! Now!" Petilil used absorb

Umbreon was about to attempt its next attack when it felt a little of its energy being drained. Instantly, some of it was drawn away, alongside the damage done by leech seed, and it was drawn to the opposing pokemon. "I have to say, that is one way of keeping your pokemon alive," James said. "Umbreon, attempt to use tackle again, and this time, put some force into it," he commanded, watching as his umbreon quickly complied by rushing at the pokemon. It became a little faster and faster as it came closer to the pokemon, ready to bash into it and cause some damage.

Petilil was hit and flew backwards with a criticle, making it even stronger. Petilil ran up "Absorb!" Petilil used absorb "It's only moves that actually does damage"

The umbreon once again felt as though it's energy were being drained, yet this time, it felt like more than little was. It stumbled backwards after it's energy had been taken by both absorb and the earlier leech seed, and umbreon knew that this was probably the case. "Umbreon, use tackle again," James called out, hoping his umbreon would hear him. The umbreon was a little dizzy since it's energy was gone, but not enough to where it couldn't hear it's trainer. It began dashing at petilil again, and added a little more force and speed to the attack, hoping to finish off the pokemon before it was drained of all it's energy.

Petilil dodged, then used sleeping powder next to Umbreon "That's it!"

The umbreon stumbled to the side a little, and instantly fell asleep. As it was snoozing, though, the leech seed to effect, stealing some of it's energy. One would think that this would make it sleep more, but instead, it jolted awake immediately. Apparently the slight stinging that came from the energy being stolen woke it up. It shook its head to the sides a little to be sure it was awake, then it waited for it's trainer's next command. "Continue your tackle umbreon," James said, watching as umbreon instantly began heading for the pokemon again.

Petilil got tackled and got knocked out. Ace returned his pokemon and let out Grais "Here we go, use Quick Attack!" Grais did as told

No longer having to deal with the fact it's energy can be drained, the umbreon made a slight sigh of relief. James did as well, as he suspected that the petilil would be why umbreon lost in this battle. Once Grais was outside in battle, and umbreon still slightly relaxed from knowing it was safe, wasn't honestly paying attention to the fact it was about to be attacked. It was knocked back a couple of feet, then it got up and waited for Jame's command. "Alright Umbreon, use tackle," he called, watching as his umbreon complied, slowly but surely, as it started rushing at Grais.

Grais got tackled "No biggy, use Absorb!" Grais absorbed the energy from Umbreon

As the umbreon felt the last of it's energy being absorbed, it stumbled backwards slightly. James knew what was about to happen. His umbreon was about to go down. He returned the pokemon to it's pokeball, and intently said that it was alright. "Go espeon," he called, pointing towards the opposing pokemon. The espeon, without hesitation, jumped into the battle arena. It wanted to take revenge for it's fallen partner.

Grais recieves 11 EXP, leveling to Lvl 11, with 10 EXP left over!

"Espeon, use tackle," James said, pointing toward the opposing pokemon. "Add a little force as well for umbreon!" The espeon started rushing toward the opposing pokemon, adding a little speed and force midway in distance from Grais. As it approached the pokemon, it was sure that it's attack was going to land.

Grais got tackled "Grais transform!" Grais used transform and looked like Pidove "Fly up!" Pidove flew upwards

Espeon didn't expect the pokemon to transform into another pokemon, so it's tackle missed. Now furious,it didn't know what to do. It didn't have any attacks to use against a flying pokemon, as it could only tackle. There were other moves that it did have, the trainer thought, but it wouldn't do as much for the battle. "Espeon, wait for it to come down then tackle again," James called, and the espeon waited.

"Swoop down with a Peck Grais!" Pidove swooped down with a peck
