Appearance:


Tanned, tall and long haired Con is the definition of a surfing heartthrob. His black, shaggy hair reaches just past his shoulders. From long days spent swimming in the ocean, he has a toned body and strong legs and arms. He has light blue eyes and his smile is wide and goofy. Con will wear a wetsuit any chance he has, however if in town he will wear black shorts and a black t shirt with a white outline of a wave. He has a small scar just below his left eye, a result of an accident whilst surfing. His teeth are white and straight, and his eyes are kind and caring. He has rather narrow shoulders and is slender, but toned.

Personality:

As far as people go Con is very easygoing and relaxed. Days spent relaxing on the beach have made him decide to just go with the flow of life and not let things bother him. Con feels very strongly however on the topic of littering and the protection of the natural environment. He spends an hour every day fishing rubbish out of the ocean outside of his Dewford home. If he sees anyone throw rubbish into the environment, he will immediately go and get it and attempt to cut himself off from that person. He feels this way due to seeing the way litter pollutes the area around his hometown and what he was taught as a child.

Con also strongly believes in hard work and hard training. Despite being relaxed generally, when he works towards a task he works hard and gives it his all. His motto regarding this is "If something is half done, it may as well have not been done at all.". Con enjoys pushing others to help them become stronger, and hopes to coach pokemon trainers in the future. However, he is careful to educate himself on the person or pokemon's limits, as his training will be hard but never cruel.

Battle Style:

Despite water types being his favourite type of pokemon Con understands that he must have a balanced team to do well. He likes to use his pokemon's speed and power in conjunction with each other, and believes that the best way to defend against a hit is to not be there for it. Con thoroughly enjoys double battles as they give him a fun chance to combine moves, another aspect of battling that he enjoys and tries to use. Con always works towards his okemons strengths, using their abilities and items to his favour. The best example of this is that he will often lead with Buizel's rain dance, as the rain will increase his speed immensely.

Past Experience / History:
Con grew up in Dewford town, living with his Mum mostly as his father was a fisherman who was often away on boats. As a young child Con was obsessed with fish and water pokemon and fantasised about being a pokemon trainer and one day beating Brawly. Around the age of ten, Con's father retired from fishing and came to live with them, as his mother wanted him to have a father figure that was there for him all the time. He started to teach Con about surfing, pokemon battling and most of all the importance of protecting the environment. Every day, Con's father would take him surfing, and as Con grew up he progressively got better at it. They would also search for injured pokemon along the shoreline, and would help them or if needed take them in and nurture them back to health before releasing them back into the wild. Con's first solo release was that of a young Buizel, who had a ring off a soda can trapped around its neck. Con released the Buizel back into the sea, glad that it was safe.

Con was always training hard to become a better surfer, and one night a large storm was encroaching on the town. Con was 13 at the time, young and reckless. After watching from his window in his bedroom, Con decided that he was ready to surf the massive waves and sneaked out with his board. He was riding the wave, but the water was rough and he fell, knocking himself out on the board on his way down. He sunk deeper into the water, unaware of his impending doom. With a cough and a splutter he awoke on the shore, a familiar Buizel standing over him, having just saved his life. Ever since, Buizel has bee Con's partner.

Buizel is fiercely loyal, even to a fault. He always follows instructions however would not follow an instruction that would result in harm to Con. Buizel has his life because of Con and finds every chance to repay that debt.

Personality: A rather angry little pokemon whom was originally abandoned by it's trainer. after being captured its heart has begun to open up but can still become rather difficult to work with. It's ffull of love but its hatred and anger need to be fully quelled before allowing its heart to fully open.

Personality: Torchic is a strong and fiery pokemon who takes any chance to prove what it can do. It's also a bit of a cry baby, if it fails or if it falls down it tends to tear up. He is protective over his trainer and will do anything to prove his worth.

As far as I'm concerned it looks great, but I'd like to see if you could expand on the appearance just a tad bit, along with the battle style.
