Training up~

It was a Metapod she tripped on, and the helpless green Pokemon made a startled and hurt cry. Hearing it, suddenly a Beedrill burst out of a nearby tree and right at Twilight in a fit of rage. He seemed to be protecting Metapod from the trainer he believed attacked her.

Metapod, Female, level 9

Beedrill, Male, level 13

"Aarghohmygodsorrysorrysorrymyfaultforgivemeeeeee!" Twilight blubbered, quickly wailing out her words, making them inaudible. Suddenly she noticed she probably hurt the Metapod. "Oh- OH! Good lord, did I hurt you?" Ignoring the Beedrill, she rushed over with a worried expression on her face. She held up the Metapod when suddenly she took note of the Beedrill and paled.

Beedrill made a hurried dive right toward the Metapod in Twilight's arms. He swooped down, and yanked the little bug away from the girl. Setting Metapod on the ground, he hovered next to her, his wings buzzing with rage. He wanted a fight to avenge his friend's pain.

"L - Look...I didn't mean to hurt your friend..." Twilight slowly got up. "Hmm..." She had a thought then grabbing a pokeball, she flicked her wrist and sent out Felicity, her own Metapod. "See? I have my own Metapod and I would never dream of hurting her." She bent down and fondled Felicity before returning her to her pokeball. "But if you still want a battle..." She shrugged. "Akina, look I got two new TMs for you." Holding up the TM Attract and TM Shadow Ball, it wasn't long before Akina knew both. "All right now go!" Jumping ahead, Akina gave a low snarl, baring her small but sharp teeth, flicking her tail from side to side.

Beedrill's wings buzzed louder, and he nodded toward Akina. He was no longer angry, but saw the battle as a worhy challenge. Hovering for a few moments, he suddenly dove down and launched a frenzied Fury Attack at his foe.

The speed of the Beedrill was amazing. Akina was hit several times, each blow stronger than the one before. Squealing in pain, Akina skidded back, growling. "Akina! Attract, then Toxic! Then, why don't we try out your new move, Shadow Ball?" AKina nodded as she began on the list of orders.

(I would have described Attract but I don't know how...)

As Beedrill furiously attacked, he was hit by a strange wave, then suddenly Akina became his world, the center of his focus. He quickly made his next swip miss, and hovered above the Vulpix with a love-struck gaze. When the Toxic flew at him, he was easy prey, same went for the Shadow Ball.

He was sent flying, then imobolized by love. He seemed very fatigued from the damage he had taken.

(Vulpix? Akina is my Eevee! XD )

Twilight couldn't stop giggling at the sight of it. But a bit of her mind nagged that making use of the immobility of a love-struck foe wasn't even right. The Beedrill was defenceless. Akina awaited orders. Twilight sighed. "Well, I now would hate to hurt it. So just let Toxic to it's work. Tail Whip!" Akina chirped and sat, wagging her tail cutely from side to side.

The toxic sent a shudder through Beedrill, and he became even more damaged. He looked at the wagging tail and was consumed by love for the Eevee. He rushed at her, and used Fury Attack as a strange show of affection, but then again, Beedrills were strange Pokemon.

Akina squeaked as the Fury Attack hit. Once. Twice. Thrice. Each time the hit felt harder than before. Consumed with rage, fair play was a forgotten conduct. Quickly lunging for the Beedrill, she let out a Shadow Ball of pent up fury.

The Shadow Ball slammed into Beedrill, and he let out a cry before falling to the ground in a crumpled heap. His legs were shaking and he was fighting to stay conscious. He would be knocked out with one more attack.

"Hmm." Twilight pondered. Would a Beedrill make a good addition to her team? But she was feeling pitiful for it..."Come on Akina. Just use Growl." Growling cutely once gain, Akina tried to drop Beedrills attack.

Beedrill fell for the growl, and grew less angered. His wings uselessly vibrated, but he couldn't lift into the air. He grew more dizzy, and was about to lose consciousnesses.

Twilight sighed. "Return Akina." The Eevee chirped and jumped up to her shoulder. Felcity can gain some exp... She sent out her Metapod. "Okay, just use Harden." As the Metapod's skin glazed over with a steely sheen, Twilight gazed on at the Beedrill.

The sight of Felcity seemed to strike a chord with Beedrill, as she stood hovering and not attacking, seemingly hesitant about attacking something so similar to his own companion. He was free to be taken out, and didn't seem to be attacking any time soon.

Felicity watched out of the corner of her eye, wondering why this Beedrill didn't attack her. "Just...Harden up..." Twilight trailed off, not wanting to make the first move either. The sheen appeared a second time as light glistened on the slightly toughened up and steely skin.

Beedrill was still at a loss of what to do, and cringed as the Toxic grew worse and worse. He shuddered once then fell to the ground. The poison had grown stronger and stronger, and though he wasn't attacked, he had taken enough damage to finally get knocked out.

Akina gained 6 exp!

Felicity gained 7 exp! Felicity grew to level 8!

"Yay! Felicity! Akina!" As she scooped them both in a big hug, she exclaimed happily. Cradling the two, she walked over to Beedrill and placed it carefully on a branch where it could recover in the meantime. She looked around for something else to train with. Suddenly striking on an idea, she dashed over and switched Felicity for Ninio. "Okay, we're gonna train now!"

(Even if it's a trainer battle, can it be a double please?)

"Hey missus," a small child said while tugging on Twilight's shirt. "Do you want to battle us?" There were two wide-eyed and excited toddlers gripping a Pokeball each. "We just got new Pokemon and we wanna battle!"

(Aww. They sound cute. Thanks~)

"Er...sure." Quickly Akina jumped down as Ninio followed.

"Ok!" Each shouted excitedly at the same time. One managed to jump too, and lose his too-big hat. Giggling, he plucked it back up from the ground and placed it on his head. Then both threw their Pokeballs wide into the air, releasing Akina and Ninio's opponents.

Bulbasaur, Male, level 10

Squirtle, Female, level 10

The two Pokemon stood on the field, waiting. They're allowing Twilight the first move.

"Wow, and you say you just got them?" She asked, goggling slightly at the pokemon. "Uh. Ahem. Akina, Attract on the Squirtle. Ninio, use..." She glanced down at her pokedex for a second, "Ember." The two feline like pokemon nodded before springing into action. Akina winked with her soft, melting brown eyes, sending pink hearts swirling around, making a beeline for Squirtle. Ninio loped forward before sending out a flurry of red-hot Embers.

(Oh, mind if I ask what, if anything, you want Akina to evolve into? If it's Umbreon or Espeon, I can make it happen after this battle, your friendship should be high enough by now ^^)

The pink hearts slammed into Squirtle, but she just rolled her eyes at the attempt, they had no effect on another female. Bulbasaur was hit by the flurry of embers, and couldn't help but cry out. Already weak in the first half of the battle, he shook himself and part of the fatigue away, weakened greatly from the supper effective attack.

"Use Hydro Cannon!" one kid called out a little too enthusiastically.

"Hyper Beam!" the other cried, looking at both the Pokemon with wide, expectant eyes.

Both Pokemon looked blankly from their trainers to each other, and shrugged. Being new to battling, the kids weren't too knowledgable on Pokemon. Finally, Squirtle stepped forward and launched a barrage of glistening bubbles toward Ninio. Bulbasaur extended the vines from the plant on his back and lashed them out at Akina, a Vine Whip attack.

(Haven't decided yet so no thank you~ also, I could have sworn that Squirtle was male...)

"What what?!" Twilight nearly had a heart attack on the spot, before realising that the pokemon didn't know the moves. Akina switched targets and used Attract on Bulbasaur. Successfully dodging the vines, she skidded in front of Ninio and took the Bubble attack, before releasing her own Toxic at the Squirtle as Ninio turned her attentions to the Bulbasaur, releasing a Fire Spin.

(Ok ^^ And weird, I never edited it... And I love playing little kids, making them call huge attacks =3)

The barrage of hearts filled Bulbasaur's heart with love, and he stared to stare, lovestruck at Akina. The Toxic successfully affected Squirtle, and she staggered in her spot, as the poison began sapping away her energy. Seeing the fire fly at her partner, she jumped in front of it, taking the attack for Bulbasaur.

Breathing heavily, Squirtle took aim at Ninio and launched another barrage of bubbles, wanting to protect her partner from any more fire. Bulbasaur, however, remained in his place, still staring at Akina in a daze.
