The 7th gym

Doragon stretched,walking onto the island,hopping off his rayquaza,and returning him. "Man,I'm so close to the end..."says Doragon as he walks decides to catch a new pokemon for the gym,surfing on his gyarados,looking for pokemon to catch.He suddenly saw a _____ in the water.

It was a Shiny Lapras , level 37. It was floating its way across the water ever so leisurely. It had seen the Rayquaza and the Gyarados. Regardless of this, it remained perfectly calm.

Doragon smiled,amazed. "Wooow,a shiny lapras,looks too weak for Gyarados to not faint it,so lets do this Mewtwo." says Doragon as he sends out mewtwo,who levitates in the air. "Start it off with a shock wave." says Doragon as mewtwo fires a shockwave at lapras,shocking it, the shock amplified by the water.

The shiny lapras was hit with the full of the power of Shock Wave. By odd chance, it still held on, if only by a hair. However, it also became paralyzed so it could not attack.

Doragon smiled and threw one of his pokeballs at the lapras,hoping to catch it. "cmooon pokeball"

The ball hit the Lapras and a red light enveloped it and brought it into the ajar Pokéball. It closed the Lapras inside and dropped into the water, being bouyant. The button on the ball emitted red for a bit, and it became normal again.

Doragon swam over on Gyarados and put it away,after drying it. "Heh we got a shiny,but i guess its time to heal up,then fight Blaine." says Doragon as he swims on Gyarados to the pokemon center,returning him and healing his pokemon,sitting down to take a break. He later went to the gym and walked to Blaine "BLAINE,IM HERE TO CHALLENGE YOU."

Blaine entered the gym just then. "Oh. Hello. I wasn't expecting a trainer here in my gym. I had been to the Hot Springs. They're very relaxing. I suppose you've come to challenge me? Fine, show me your best!" He said as he tossed open a pokeball. A small red and black puppy appeared.

Doragon thought about this,he didn't want to waste his nice Gyarados yet,so he instead he plucked another pokeball,as it enlarged. "GO,RAMPARDOS!"says Doragon as a tall T-rex looking pokemon took there,its blue head shining a bit in the light. "You can have the first move,Blaine."

"Hmm..." Blaine stroked his moustache thoughtfully. "Growlithe, use Roar!" Growlithe opened his mouth wide and emitted a terrifying Roar that was sure to make Doragon switch out Rampardos and drag out another pokemon.

Doragon returned Rampardos and smiled,as out popped Garchomp,who was roaring to go. "Garchomp,use Sand storm" Says Doragon as Garchomp makes a sand storm,raising its evasiveness.

Gowlithe was buffeted by the Sandstorm, dealing heavy damage to the fire type. "Growlithe use Heat Wave!" The Puppy Pokemon nodded and unleashed a large amount of heat in waves, powerful waves. They headed straight for Garchomp.

Garchomp got hit,as Doragon smiled,putting on goggles and yelling to Garchomp "You can handle some fire,but next time,dodge it!"says Doragon as Garchomp gets in a stance. "Now Garchomp,use Crunch!"says Doragon as Garchomp comes out from behind Growlithe,going for a crunch to its back.

Growlithe was hit and the sharp teeth of Garchomp left behind an ugly mark. The small puppy whimpered and cowered. "Come now Growlithe, retaliate with your own Crunch!" Growlithe stood up, quivering just a tiny bit and rushed at the large Mach pokemon, small teeth bared.

Garchomp got bit,as he grit his teeth,enduring it a bit more than Growlithe would,as Garchomp raised his claw. "Use a Slash attack!"says Doragon as Garchomp brought the claw down onto Growlithe

The Slash hit right on the Growlithe's back as it yelped. "Use Take Down!" Blaine ordered as Growlithe ran toward Garchomp, small paws scrabbling on the dirt.

Garchomp saw it coming,finding it able to dodge,he used dig,going into a hole,evading the take down. Garchomp would dig as Doragon has a wide smile,which became clear once the sand storm passed.

Growlithe started panicking, as the intelligent puppy realised Dig would be it's downfall. However, his even more intelligent trainer had other ideas. "Use Agility!" He ordered calmly. The Growlithe gulped and nodded, sprinting faster than the eye could follow around the arena.

Doragon noticed,so he decided he had to end this...but how? Doragon thought,as Garchomp was still digging,waiting for the signal. Doragon knew he couldn't make this move work,so he smiled. "Come up from under ground and use dig once more!" says Doragon as Garchomp leaped out of the ground,flew into the ground again,a distance off.

"Use Agility again!" Blaine ordered, stroking his moustache. The Growlithe started running again, looking like a blur. It was careful to tread lightly so as to not give away it's position.

Doragon watched the Growlithe,as i smiled,and Garchomp came out once more,close to Growlithe. "Use Slash on the Growlithe!"says Doragon,hoping it would hit the dog. Garchomp brought his claw down onto Growlithe,also hoping it hit,for he was tired.

Growlithe tried to growl intimidatingly at the incoming Slash, then tried to use Bite on the claw, nevertheless taking damage.

Doragon noticed as Garchomps hand got bitten,it was just what he wanted,now growlithe was dangling by Garchomp's wing. "Now spin Garchomp!!"says Doragon as Garchomp spun around,aiming to send Growlithe flying into the air.

It worked perfectly. Growlithe was flung afar, crashed into a wall and fainted.

Garchomp gained 42 exp!
