Having found a new beautiful place, the trainer and her pokemon were sitting around. Having spent some money on a feast they had returned to a beautiful camping spot filled with large wild grass and birch tree's. The evening sky was beautiful. The girl would be happily eating a small plate of food while the large pink pokemon would be guzzling through a massive heap that a snorlax would be jealous off. Its tongue continually moving in to the pile and removing large chunks in one go. "You should slow down, i can't afford to be spending money on so much food ya know" Lunar Knight would say to her pokemon. The reply of the Lickilicky was that of a mumble as it was to engorged in the food to even take notice.

Sighing she would think back to her battle with the pokemon trainer brock, she actually followed his advice and came here to see Misty the trainer of water but she was out at the moment. So she was camping out but her mind kept wavering to the fact brokc had at least two pokemon on him. Other gyms wuold have more, and stronger pokemon too. Lunar and Tung couldn't compete all by themselves, they needed to form a team. They needed more friends to help them on their journey. As she contemplated this she would watch the giant pokemon eat, Tung was now bigger and stronger in every way, he looked funnier but adorable as well. He had evolved after she had collapsed from the training. It was a shock but a nice one. As she began to take another bite her ears detected a sound. Something was coming closer to them, but she could not decide whether it was flying or running.

While Lunar had decided to occupy a beautiful spot to train, the sight not too far away into the unmapped areas around her were not as beautiful. The Lickilicky had sensed a fleeing Pokemon, one capable of flight. It was vigorously accelerating towards the area as if running for her life. Soon after, terrified screeches can be heard in hordes. At first, a single Pidgey came into sight and the bird would fly across the area over Lunar and Tung's heads. It was followed by a small flock of poisoned Pidgey. Some began to collapse mid-flight and crashed to the ground not too far away but not within the confinements of the patch Lunar had chosen to stay in and eventually, each one of them had fainted. It seems like she was not the only infiltrator who had decided to disrupt the activities of the natural habitat for the region seemed to have a recent visitor.

After an abrupt moment of suspense, a Pidgeotto came into sight. She was a mother bird who had come to see what the commotion was about and the sight of the injured and poisoned young of its kind not only disturbed but also infuriated the larger bird. She saw the trainer below and presumed that she was to be held responsible. After circling around over her head, she dove in! Screeching all the way down, her aggressive nature was evident. The Pidgeotto was dive in and once she was a few feet off the ground, flap her wings and halt while simultaneously creating bits of sand near her feet.

The flapping would cause the same sand along with dirt from below to kick up and she would direct the dust at the Lickilicky as an attack, in the form of the ground type accuracy lowering move Sand Attack!

It had actually been Lunar whom had detected the pokemon. She would witness the smaller birds dropping from the sky while her pokemon remained engorged within its eating of the large pile of food. As she witnessed the birds dropping she would stand up not caring for her food. Her good nature forced her to want to help but she would soon be halted. Another flying type pokemon with the normal type attribute would soon soar in to view. She did not need to translate the screech, it was one of aggression and pain. Lunar had a unique ability you see, she had the ability to communicate with pokemon, something within her brain identified and changed the language in to that of english for her to understand while her own words seemed to translate in to that of the brain of whatever pokemon. An issue with this was she was uncapable of speaking to all pokemon, having not been able to hear the voices of Brocks at all. She at this point did not understand her full ability but its abilities only seemed to pass on to those of the normal type pokemon including those with the first or secondary attribute of this type.

As the bird pokemon swooped, she would move. Her pokemon had not looked up or even bothered to identify anything other so the woman had to make her mind up, her body would receive the brunt of the sand attack after jumping on to her pokemon and cradling its face with her body. the sitting pokemon would then stand as she dangled pulling her from the attack allowing it to hit of its stomach which of course would cause no effect. As she dropped to the floor out of the way she would smile at the bird, She had done it now. The female birds sand attack had covered the large pink pokemons food. The angry pokemon would release a roar of aggression. "Calm down Tung, somethings clearly wrong. You know full well your still going to eat this food" Lunar would say siging, her eyes never leaving the flying type.

"SHE WANTS MY FOOD, SHE CAN'T HAVE IT" he would shout, typical, always thinking about his stomach she would say mentally, thankfully this was a good motivator, the bird type pokemon was acting aggressive, there had to be a reason but right now her aggressiveness would mean trying to talk to her may only get Lunar in trouble, they would have to try to wear her out, perhaps even catch her. "thunderbolt" Lunar would command. upon this command her pokemon would begin to shine in an electric aura that soon took the form of a single bolt which had a beautiful accuracy, the bolt seemed to arch before diverting itself directly towards the hovering pokemon. She had a couple of super effective moves in her bag of tricks, or well Tung had them. Ice Beam and Thunderbolt, the newly acquired roll out and rock tomb were good moves as well, Rock tomb being able to lower speed would be good against a bird type if she could use it properly.

The belligerent ave in her vehement attempt to annihilate the infiltrators had disregarded the possibility of being attacked herself. Unaware of the trainer's benevolent nature, the bird was firm in her belief that the Lickilicky and his trainer were inimical to her territory and as such had no thoughts of halting her ambush. Caught by surprise, she was struck hard by the Thunderbolt and immediately crashed to the surface below, unable to finish her own maneuver. The injured bird got back on its talons nevertheless and although she was now floored and hurt, refused to capitulate. Screeching loudly in the utmost display of aggression and the absolute lack of congeniality, she charged at the Lickilicky!

She used Tackle! Her talons stamping furiously onto the ground below, she kept her beak widely parted and her tongue out to show. Flapping her wings all the way she was inconsiderate of the harm she was subjecting herself to. Weak enough to be captured and stripped off of her young, she did not have much more to live for regardless.

It would seem that the thunder type move had taken effect, the thunderbolt having struck the flying type ending its flying days for now it would seem. The woman would keep her glare upon the determined bird while at the same time removing a single pokeball from her belt. A click would bring it to its full size. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was going on, those falling birds needed help and she couldn't spend so much time on trying to talk down the bird. Its constant attacks would also hinder her from saving and finding the birds that had succumb to some illness upon flight. "I'm sorry i had to do this" she would say out loud. She was not sorry for aiming to capture the bird, she was sorry for having to cause it pain so that she could take a quicker route, if she had failed to see the bird types falling then the female would have attempted to talk down the bird type pokemon.

The pokemons charge would be almost complete, Lickilicky was lookign worried that Lunar had not given an order but upon chancing a glance would nod. "She can't have any of my food though right?". The female would only scoff as she brought the pokeball up to her lips and planted a kiss of affection upon the man made item. "Fly true" she uttered before throwing the ball with as much strength and accuracy as she could muster. It seemed as if its course was true and that it would strike the bird. "Be ready just in case" she warned the pink pokemon, whom would reply with a "Gotcha" combined with a nod.

The fulminating Pidgeotto was stopped in her tracks. The capsule hit her for it had been thrown accurately, and the weakened ave minimized and squeezed herself into the capsule in which she struggled feebly to escape. Her resistance would prove to be futile as the capsule soon locked and confirmed her captivation! Lunar Knight captured the Pidgeotto! Now she can proceed to make the bird work for her for free and make her battle scary monsters of Pokemon! Yay. But do not be discouraged for Pidgeotto is a fierce species as well and Pidgeot is even more so.

Did Lunar really wish to help all the poisoned young birds? Although their condition was anthropogenic, as an individual, she did not personally have anything to do with their demise. The trainer could choose to adhere to the law of nature, the survival of the fittest, and choose not to intervene. Then again, whom ever was responsible had chosen to disrupt the ecosystem of the immediate vincinity. The birds, some would recover, some would just dissipate or be taken as prey by larger inhabitants of the area. For Lunar she did not have such worries for she was well guarded, would she continue her scouting session, or waste her time?

Meawhile, a Raticate swiftly scurried away into the unmarked territory with a carcassof a dead Pidgey taken for her young.

Team Lunar had just gained a brand new member, as soon as her pokeball granted her the knowledge that the Pidgeotto was hers, she would throw the ball allowing it to come out and greet them. The bird pokemon still looking wary after its battle. "Hi Pidgeotto, my names Lunar and this is my best friend Tung, I'm sorry we had to attack you, but you came at us first. i saw the falling bird pokemon, were they pidgeys. what happened to them? we can help you find them and take them to the pokemon centre,". The bird type pokemon would look confused, was this human offering to help her right the wrong of another human. Humans like her did not exist did they? Those whom actually cared about what happened to wild pokemon as well as those captivated by the life of a trainer. "I found them like that, poisoned and weakened. They same some boy and a powerful nidoran attacked them, the boy and the nidoran were fierce, instead of healing them though they just left them, like miserable humans do, think of themselves and none others" the bird would screech.

Lunar's hand would rise, covering her gasping mouth. How could a human have done that, they poisoned the birds, that being the logical conclusion of course due to nidorans typing. They then let these birds carry on until they fainted. "I'm sorry to say this, but some of them wont have made it. our battle would have prevented us from saving them all, predators will have made their move, but if you take to the skies and save as many as you can, we can take the ground. Get going we have no more time to waste" Lunar would order. She too would begin to run along with Tung in the direction of the fallen pidgeys. They had failed to see the Raticate with the deceased young. As Tung ran he would halt and turn around. The massive tongue erupted from its mouth, and in a single swoop the remaining mountain of food would be directed towards its massive mouth. Devouring it in one swoop before following the female.

It would take some time, but the female and her team would finally manage to get to the point were they had recovered every one of the pidgeys that had been spared, thankfully there were still a majority of them. They had rushed them to the centre, Tung carrying most. they were now in intensive care, The trainer had made sure not to leave the centre though. Spending the night and having Tung and Pidgeotto healed. The next day, nurse Joy and Chanseys magic had worked, the young birds were making a slow but steady recovery. Standing outside the pokemon centre, Lunar would look at her Pidgeotto whom was within her pokeball. Allowing the capsule to open she would smile at the flying pokemon. Lunar currently located sitting on Tungs shoulder. "Your looking so much better, I am sorry we couldn't save them all Pidgeotto, but well, what i was wondering, is well i gave my number to nurse joy, so she's going to call me when the pidgey are able to be released. Umm i'm going to challeneg the gym leader Misty and i was well, you know i was wondering if you wanted to possibly join us. It can just be temporary, if you want to return to the pidgey you can and i wont stop you" Lunar would state. A smile spread upon her face, the big pink pokemon also smiled. "You did something, no human did, you offered help, you caught me to save them without even knowing who they really were. You opened your heart to me and my kin, i would love to join you". The Pidgeotto would say in her feminine voice. Dropping from her main pokemon, Lunar would walk towards the non flying pidgeotto. A single hand tickled under the birds chin, "then lets do it, I'm going to call you Air," Lunar would say, the pidgeotto chirped at the name, she must have liked it.
