The Start of a New Journey (open)

Violet lazily slumbed out of her gigantic bed. She got up out of bed to see that the sun was just creeping up into the sky. Violet was about to return to her slumber when she remembered that it was the day to start her journey.

She raced over to a pokéball on her white dresser and released the pokemon inside. Vincent looked at her groggily. "Do you remember what today is?" Violet asked Vincent. Vincent didn't respond for he was still sleepy. "Today is the day we begin our journey," exclaimed Violet, suddenly full of energy. She would've attempted to grip Vincent and shake him awake but her hands would go straight through him.

Violet swiftly fixed her bed and made her way to her open door. She looked behind to see Vincent following closely behind her. She closed the white door behind her and made her way towards her father's room. Her father had a bigger bed than she could dream of with a large dresser holding many things. She quietly made her way to her father who was sleeping peacefully. Violet didn't want to awake Pa since he was in such a peaceful sleep but she had to in order to let him know she was leaving.

"Pa, Pa wake up," Violet said, shaking Pa softly. Slowly Pa woke up and stared at Violet. "Pa, today's the day. Me and Vincent are leaving," she said softly. Pa reached his arms out and hugged Violet. "I'm going to miss you," said Pa softly. "I know," said Violet softly as she returned the hug. "I am going to miss you too," she said as they broke up the hug. "I love you," said Pa as Violet made her way to the door. "I love you too," said Violet as she exited the tiny red and green house.

Violet closed the green door when Vincent floated beside her. She looked at him with a small grin. "What are we doing just standing around? Lets go!" Violet exclaimed feeling much more jovial than before. Vincent smiled awkwardly at Violet. Violet and Vincent both swiftly went to Route 8 as the sun was continuing to rise into the sky.

"Leif, I do believe we are quite lost." Lloyd said, looking around the area he had found himself. "Remind me to never ask a hermit for directions again. I doubt we're even in the same region any more." He continued to walk as he talked, hand resting on the handle of his sword, skiddo following close behind. "Why am I talking to you anyway, you are merely a pokemon, you will not have anything to say back to me." The knight sighed, not particularly paying attention, had he been, he would've noticed the girl and puff ball headed in the opposite direction towards him and not walked into them. "Oh, I'm sorry my lady. I did not see you there, I do trust you are unharmed." Lloyd said, offering his hand to help her up.

Violet grabbed his hand and lifted herself up. "I'm fine," she replied, dusting herself off. Violet looked at the swordsman. "Pardon me but why are you wearing armor?" she questioned, Vincent floating beside her.

Lloyd looked at her perplexed for a moment. Then he remembered his predicament and that most people looked at him confusedly, though typically the sword was their first note of concern. "Ah yes, you see, I am not from this time. I was brought here from my time by a strange legendary pokemon and have been hunting it ever since. Alas, it would appear I have gotten lost after asking for directions from a hermit." In actuality, that hermit was just an older gentleman on the street. "Ah, where are my manner my lady, allow me to introduce myself. I am Lloyd Farran and this is my companion Leif." He said, bowing to her, Leif trying to do the same.

A small yellow pokemon watched the whole conversation. It were not only people who found it odd how the person talked and dressed but of course also some pokemon would find it weird, or odd. However this pokemon didn't find the outfit odd, or the way he talked but this pokemon found that he had another aura then the other humans in this timeline. However not till later he noticed it were two people, both of their aura's seemed ... unusual. Not the normal people with the aura's of wanting to become the best , who didn't care about their pokemon, and pretty much acted like lost little childeren but kind people who would actually care for their pokemon instead of immediatly trying to throw a pokeball at anything that moved.

It watched and listened to the conversation between the two, his squinted eyes opening a tade more to be able to see what they were saying as he was hovering above the grass. However when he came closer, the bushes around the route accidently rustled, it wasn't a normal rustle like a bit of wind would be but rustle of a living form moving. He immediately hid himself carefull not to let anything rustle again.

Violet smiled at Lloyd. "Well it is nice to meet you Lloyd and Leif. I am Violet Jackson and this one here," she said gesturing to Vincent," is Vincent."

Vincent smiled at the two. He turned his attention to a bush he heard rustle. He certainly knew that wasn't a rustle from the wind. Vincent nudged Violet and turned to the bush. The duo approached the bushes very cautiously.

Leif went to follow Vincent and Violet but Lloyd raised a hand to stop him. "Not yet Leif, I want to see how she battles first. If she needs us, then we shalt provide her with our assistance." Lloyd had begun to pick up that in this time girls could be just as good of a trainer as guys. "I feel she will do quite well for herself." The knight rested a hand on the hilt of his sword and waited to see what came from the bush.

The pokemon watched as it flicked its tail keeping an eye on the two. If the pokemon would lay down on its belly it would have chance that it would be able to not get noticed when they came closer and they mihgt come to the idea that it had been the wind instead of something like a pokemon. The only thing the yellow electric pokemon could do is stay silent as it layed down carefull not to make the bush rustle, its tail flat to the ground not making any sounds.

For an instant, Violet thought that the noise was just the wind. It was a small breeze. But even then, she knew she'd have to enter tall grass some day. And with that in mind, she stalked carefully into the grass, Vincent beside her. Vincent was as easily convinced however, and floated low to the grass searching for the cause of the noise.
