   Appearance:
   Sylva has blonde hair that goes down to his shoulder, and generally it's unkempt so he lets it run freely. He has light-brown eyes and a face that generally looks he doesn't care about anything. He usually wears green fitted jeans with the cuffs rolled up at the bottom. He wears a black t-shirt, but on top of that he usually wears a white dress shirt that is unbuttoned; sometimes he may wear the dress shirt, sometimes he may not. He can also be seen wearing orange headphones that he lets rest right above his ears as the band of the headphones lays on the top of his neck.

   Personality:
   Sylva is the type of person who likes to do things his way, and tries his best to always come out on top. Even though he's tried working in groups with others, he's never done a really good job at it, so he prefers to work with his Pokemon and no one else. When it comes down to it, if he can't win, he will always try his best to train not only himself but his Pokemon as well so that they can become stronger and capable of defeating anyone that decides to stand against them. He also angers easily, but is quick to apologize only if he gets upset with his Pokemon.

   Battle Style:
   His battle style, to put simply, is to end the battle as quickly as possible, however he can, without doing too much damage to his own Pokemon.

   Past Experience / History:
   Sylva was born and raised in Kiloude City, located in the Kalos Region. He didn't know much of his father or mother, but he was told about them by his grandfather who raised him and taught him all about Pokemon. Although his grandfather taught all that he knows, they still had arguments here and there, but it was those arguments that brought the two of them together and helped them form a stronger bond. Not only was a bond formed between the two of them, but he also formed a bond with some of the Pokemon that his grandpa had.
   Sylva's grandfather had a certain Gardevoir that he was fond of, and he spent quite a bit of his free time with her. Sometimes he would even use her in battles with some of the neighboring kids to practice and hone his skills. After constant battling and training with the Gardevoir he ended up becoming a pretty decent battler at a young age, but he still didn't have a Pokemon of his own. He hadn't gotten his own Pokemon until after his grandfather told him that they would be going out to Hoenn to visit an old friend of his. This was funny to Sylva because he always thought that his grandfather didn't have any friends.
    After a long trip, they arrived in Mawile City where they, Sylva, his grandfather, and his grandfather's Pokemon, met his grandfather friend. This person had a Pokemon that was similar to one of his Grandfather's, but seemed more masculine. He liked how the Pokemon looked simply because it reminded him of the Gardevoir. Anyways, the friend ended up requesting that the two of them stayed out there for a little while. Sylva's grandfather looked at this as a chance for Sylva to live his life as a trainer since he was good with Pokemon already. Sylva agreed to it, but he had no Pokemon and he was sure that his grandfather wasn't going to let him take the Gardevoir with him.
   Almost immediately after agreeing, his grandfather's friend brought him Ralts that he said was bred special and that he could take it on his journey. Sylva was personally surprised by this, but knowing that he could evolve into a Gardevoir, he couldn't refuse it. The friend told him that he should probably head to the Professor's Lab and that he might find a gym or two on the way there. Sylva agreed to this, thanked both of them, and headed off on his adventure with the Ralts.
