Sylva and Galahad had just arrived from Rusturf Tunnel and decided that before they pursued on, they should probably get some training done here. He didn't know much about the upcoming gym, but he did know that there was one in the city ahead of them, but he wanted to at least get stronger before challenging them. If anything, maybe catch a Pokemon or two so that their odds of winning were slightly higher. The boy and his Ralts continued walking through a nice patch of grass hoping for something to pop out. It would definitely suck if they didn't have any luck with finding a new ally here.

Finding a new ally would perhaps be a possibility for Sylva. Many places seemed to rustle, but perhaps it was just the wind... After a few moments of silence upon the wind stopping, a few chirps could be heard in the trees. "Pidgee," one cried out. "Spearow," another cried. Two different pokemon in one shot; it must've been his lucky day.

After the wind passed by, moving Sylva's blonde hair slightly, he and his Ralts both heard two different cries from some trees up ahead. The cries were different from each other, and Ralts looked to Sylva waiting for him to make a decision for them. The boy had heard of each of these Pokemon before from his grandfather; one was a Spearow and the other he believed to be a Pidgey. Sylva looked down to the Ralts and said, "Let's go for this one." He then pointed at the tree he believed the Pidgey to be and said, "Galahad, use Disarming Voice." The Ralts then let out a screech at the tree that was being pointed at, and you could see the sound waves moving fast. As the attack was taking place, Sylva watched to see things play out.

Upon the attack being utilized, the pidgey flew from the tree and dived down to the ground. The spearow, unlike its friend, flew away into the sky to get away. The pidgey was a little more upset than the spearow was, and it took what seemed to be a challenge from Sylva to heart. "Pidge," it cried a bit enraged, though it was also a little interested in a battle.

It looked like the Pidgey took the challenge that the two of them were putting out towards it. Sylva then looked to the Ralts and said, "Let's see how fast we can finish this." The Ralts smiled and let out a small battle cry to let his trainer know that he was ready to fight. "Use Shadow Sneak, then Ice Punch." As soon as the words left his mouth, the Ralts disappeared. No, it was just moving fast and traveling like a shadow. It then appeared behind the bird Pokemon and would thrust its fist that was glowing light blue and gave off a cold aura at the center of the Pidgey's back. As the Pokemon battled, Sylva watched closely to be an extra set of eyes for the Ralts.

The pidgey wasn't as unintelligible as it seemed. The pokemon kept a faint listen to its surroundings, and upon hearing the ralts showing up for an attack, it beat its wings. The pokemon flew high and swerved down again, headed towards the ralts for a tackle from above.

Sylva was honestly surprised to see that the Pidgey had dodged the attack and was already starting a counter-attack. Although he was impressed, this wouldn't stop him from continuing his assault on the bird Pokemon. "Double Team, then Disarming Voice again!" The Ralts created multiple copies of itself to dodge the tackle that was crashing down towards him, then responding with an intense cry that had the potential to do damage to the Pidgey. Sylva continued looking for openings with this Pidgey however.

The pidgey ended up crashing into the ground, his attack unsuccessful. The pokemon cried out angrily when Sylva's pokemon partner screeched at it, inflicting damage to the bird before it decided to retaliate in anger. It began to flap angrily, sending gusts of wind all around it to attack every manifestation of ralts that had been created by the double team

With the attack hitting, Sylva knew they had to stay on a roll. Although the clones of the Ralts were now destroyed, they had to keep going. The wind starting pushing Galahad back, but Sylva had a new plan. "Use Confusion, and throw it at the ground!" the boy yelled out to his partner. The Ralts's eyes began to glow a light blue color as it began to use its Psychic abilities to send the bird flying at the ground with a great amount of force. Now it was time for Sylva's planning skills to play out.

The pidgey found itself lightly damaged, temporarily confused as it fell to the ground making a splashing impact. It quickly got up though, seemingly left without a long-term confusion as it screeched in further anguish and challenge. The pokemon rushed, headed for a quick attack against its opponent to teach it a lesson.

[Be cautious how you write posts; making it seem as though yoru attack will land regardless is godmoderation (though I did understand what you meant) ;3]

[OOC: Got it. And sorry about not posting lately, life got a little busy]

IC: After realizing that the attack hit, Sylva wondered how much more this Pidgey could handle from the two of them. The battle was already interesting to him in itself, and so was this bird Pokemon. Maybe he would add him to the team; it definitely seemed like it would be a good addition to the team. "Let's see you stop this! Ice Punch!" With the blue aura around the Ralts's fist, it would punch at the Pidgey, aiming to collide directly with it. Sylva wasn't too sure on if this would finish things or not, but he had to pay close attention to see what the end result would be.

[I don't mind if you end up busy a day or two; I understand life gets busy sometimes (it does for me too x3)]

The pidgey didn't seem to let up on the attack that it was headed for; the pokemon was persistent alongside being a light "hot-head." The pokemon collided with the punch, a loud sound emitting from just the impact alone. A cloud of smoke arose around them (somehow), the pokemon flying from one edge to the ground as it skidded back a few feet. The pokemon's eyes looked like they were rolling in circles, the pokemon weak and having to take a moment to rest and recover before battling further.

After the two attacks collided, the Ralts moved back some towards Sylva and the Pidgey went in the opposite direction. Apparently the force from the two attacks was pretty intense. It seemed like the more this battle went on, the more he began to like this Pidgey. He wasn't too sure on how much longer this would last, but it seemed like maybe a hit or two would finish this battle off. "Shadow Sneak, then Disarming Voice," he called to Galahad. The Ralts nodded then disappeared only to reappear behind the Pidgey. It then let out an intense screech at the bird Pokemon; it was hoping to finish this battle like this. Sylva reached into his pocket taking hold of something thinking of his next move to make.

Even though the pokemon was struggling to move and get up, he could see his opponent sneaking behind him. He knew that it was going to be over if he got hit, the pokemon rolling aside. It was barely a miss if at all, the pokemon just centimeters from where the attack would've actually taken him out. "Pidge," it cried in a sigh.

And somehow the Pidgey managed to dodge the attack from Galahad. It kinda made Sylva wonder why the Pokemon was trying so hard not to lose. Whatever the reason, the two of them weren't going to back down here. "Teleport, then Ice Punch." The Ralts then teleported inches above the Pidgey and punched down at the bird Pokemon with as much force as its little body could give out. One more hit, was all Sylva could think as the battle continued on. Just one more hit...

Pidgey - Male - Lvl 15 - Down

The pokemon watched as his opponent came from above. The pokemon was a bit fearful to be struck again, but ultimately had no say in the matter. He had exhausted his energy, taking the hit and falling unconscious from the beating he had just taken. It was a time for capture or abandonment.

After a long battle, Sylva felt that he should add this Pokemon to his team. It fought hard, and he figured that it would make a great addition. As he pulled the Poke Ball out of his pocket, he looked to the Ralts and said, "Good job, Galahad." The Ralts then came back to Sylva and he threw the Poke Ball at the Pidgey to catch it. If this worked, this would be his second Pokemon, but the first one that he caught on his own. He was a little excited about this.

Pidgey - Male - Lvl 15

The pokeball made contact with the unconscious pidgey. Without much hesitation, a red flash arose and the pokemon was gone, taken into the ball as it collided with the ground and began shaking a bit. The pokemon wasn't fighting back; it was just the ball itself. After a bit of time, it began to stop, signifying it had been captured.

Nickname the pokemon?

Sylva walked over to the ball, picked up and said to Galahad, "Looks like we've got ourselves a new teammate." The Ralts jumped up with excitement for having a new adventure buddy. Now it was Sylva's turn to help make his team stronger for whatever challenges they may have next. He then said, "I think I'll name you, Yahweh." His reasoning for this name was because he wanted it to be far stronger than any other Pidgey. And now that he had his second Pokemon, it was time to push them to be stronger.
