Pokemon X and Y

Pokémon X Version (Japanese: ポケットモンスターＸ Pocket Monsters X) and Pokémon Y Version (Japanese: ポケットモンスターＹ Pocket Monsters Y) are the primary paired versions of the upcoming Generation VI. The games will be available on the Nintendo 3DS.
Both games were revealed during a worldwide announcement by Satoru Iwata through Nintendo Direct at 8 PM JST, on January 8, 2013. The paired versions will be released worldwide (except for select countries) on October 2013 and available for both retail and download.

Features:

Full 3D gameplay
Unlike any other games in the main series, Pokémon X and Y feature a completely 3-dimensional style of gameplay, and the use of sprites that were present since Generation I has been replaced with 3D modeled characters and creatures. The battle system is aesthetically overhauled, featuring more lively reactions to the attacks, such as when a Pokémon is being hit.

Gyms
X and Y will feature Gyms like every other main series title. A Gym seen in the Nintendo Direct trailer features the female protagonist standing on a floating platform that transforms into a room.

New Pokémon
Currently, 5 new Pokémon are confirmed for X and Y. How many total new Pokémon will be released is unknown at this point.
The first Pokémon to be released were Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Xerneas, and Yveltal on January 8, 2013.

   


New Eeveelution!
On February 11th a new pokemon was introduced to us. It was Sylveon a fairy type pokemon with only known information: Height: 1.0m / 3'03'' Weight: 23.5 kg / 51.8lbs




Mega Mewtwo - "Awakened" Mewtwo
In Pokemon Smash a new pokemon was introduced but sadly its name, type and other info are unknown. However, this pokemons major appearance will be in the newest pokemon movie "Pokémon Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens"





Kalos region!
On May 14th Pokemon Company revealed the new Kalos region. The shape of this new region closely resembles France. The capital (main) city is called Lumiose City and it is based on the city of light, Paris.






The New Heroes!
The official artwork of both male and female characters were revealed! Now you can completely customize your character: change eye color, hair color, skin color, outfits and accessories!

Pokemon	Description
	Gogoat is a sturdy, grassy goat Pokémon. It's calm and gentle natured, even allowing Trainers to ride on its back. It forms a bond with Trainers when they hold onto its horns.
	Pancham is a rambunctious little panda Pokémon that makes a hobby of intimidating its foes by glaring at them menacingly, although it doesn't usually work as well as it would like. It always has a leaf sticking out of its mouth.
	Helioptile is a funny-looking Electric/Normal-type Pokémon in Pokémon X & Y that is capable of generating electricity from the sun and using that energy in place of eating.
	Fletchling is a tiny bird Pokémon in Pokémon X & Y that is based off of a Japanese Robin. It's a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon available early on in the game, being shown at as low of a level as level 2.
	Noivern is a new Flying/Dragon-type Pokémon focused around sound. It emits ultrasonic waves from its ears that are capable of smashing boulders. It is quite fierce and will attack anyone that approaches it, although it has a fondness for fruit.
	Vivillon is a new Bug/Flying-type Pokémon with the appearance of a butterfly. It causes strong winds when it flaps its wings, which can also be used to scatter its scales. The pattern on its wings is said to contain a secret.
	Skrelp is a new Poison/Water-type Pokémon that resembles a seahorse hiding inside of some seaweed. It disguises itself as seaweed in order to draw its prey close, where it poisons the prey to prevent it from escaping.
	Clauncher is a brand new Water-type Pokémon that appears to be the cross between a real world shrimp and crab, possessing an enormous claw that can be used to crack even boulders.
	Talonflame is a fiery Fire/Flying-type Pokémon and is an evolved form of Fletchling. It is capable of flying through the air at speeds of over 310 mph, causing flames to spout from its body as it zooms by.
	Scatterbug is the the lowest evolutionary form of Vivillon, evolving into Spewpa first.
	Spewpa is the middle evolutionary form of Vivillon, evolving from Scatterbug first.
	Flabébé is the new Fairy-type Pokémon in Pokémon X & Y. It is the smallest Pokémon ever, measuring just 4 inches tall. It finds a flower and then bonds with that flower for its whole life. Its color and appearance is said to change based on the variety of flower it bonds with. It's also the first Pokémon whose English name contains an accented character.
	Litleo is the new lion cub Pokémon in Pokémon X & Y. It has an interesting Fire/Normal-type combination and is shown using the new move, Noble Roar, in battle, which lowers the foe's Attack and Special Attack.
	Honedge is a mysterious new Steel/Ghost-type Pokémon in Pokémon X & Y that resembles a sword. It can use the blue cloth attached to its sheath as an arm, and will drain the energy from anyone who dares wield it by wrapping that cloth around the holder.
	Pangoro is the evolved form of Pancham. It is a Fighting/Dark-type Pokémon that is also classified as an aggressive Pokémon.
	Inkay is a new Dark/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon X & Y. It resembles a squid of some sort and has an interesting assortment of abilities.
	Malamar is a new Dark/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon X & Y. It appears to be somewhat of a cross between an octopus and a magician.
	Spritzee is a brand new Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon X & Y. It is considered to be a perfume Pokémon and floats around elegantly, resembling a tiny bird in a few ways, despite it not being part Flying-type.
	Swirlix is another brand new Fairy-type Pokémon in Pokémon X & Y. This sweet treat is based off of cotton candy, possessing the ability Sweet Veil, which prevents its teammates from falling asleep, and using the new Fairy-type move, Draining Kiss, which is a Fairy-type attack that does damage and absorbs the foe's HP.
	We don't know much about this pokemon, but by the looks of it, it can me either dark/grass or grass/ghost pokemon?
	Dedenne is a newly introduced electric/fairy pokemon. It can communicate with far-off allies. It can also plug its tail into outlets to drain electricity from them.
	Bunnelby is a newly introduced normal type pokemon. It creates its den by digging in the ground with its large, shovel-shaped ears. These powerful ears are strong enough to chop right through thick tree roots, making them a force to be reckoned with in battle..

The names sound kinda like Nintendo has no fresh ideas to come up with. They've used every colour in the universe. I think if they were going to do this they should have called Pokemon red and blue Pokemon A and B

Pancham evolves into Pangoro in the early level 30s. In order to evolve Pancham into Pangoro, you need to have one other Dark-type Pokemon in your party. Pangoro's type is Fighting/Dark.
A Pokemon named Inkay evolves into Malimar. To evolve it, you have to hold your 3DS upside-down when it levels up (the 3DS has an accelerometer and gyroscope, so it can detect that). Malimar's type is Dark/Psychic.
A Psychic-type Pokemon named Espurr (ESP + purr) evolves into Meowstick (Meow + mystic?). (Sounds like Psychic-type cats. Meowstick's name sounds too similar to Meowth to me though.)
Like in B/W you have two rivals - one is friendly and the other is competitive. Your rival that is more friendly gives you his/her fully evolved starter Pokemon after you beat the game.
Another professor named Sycamore gives you either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.
Even though it shows the player riding on a Gogoat in the new trailer, players can't ride on their own Pokemon. What was shown is just an alternate way of getting around Lumiose City and it only works with Gogoat.
HMs still exist but there's a lot less of them.
Players will be able to see their Pokemon's EVs (probably through the same in-game facility mentioned in the other post).
A new move, Belch, is a Poison-type attack that has a base power of 120. The user must consume a held Berry to perform it.
Draining Kiss is a Fairy-type attack that heals the user for the same amount of damage performed. It has a base power of 60.
If the previously revealed forme of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly similar to Mewtwo's original design, the second supposed form of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly/vaguely similar to Mew's design.
In case you missed our correction the other day, the Starters' final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark, and Water/Fighting.

Again, some or all of this information could be fake and should be taken as rumor until Pokemon validates it or not. To discuss these unconfirmed rumors, feel free to check out this thread on our forums!

Nope its Water/Fighting, Fire/Psychic and Grass/Dark! Im sure, sorry to disappoint :P

Oh, well at least it's something new this time. The only Water/Fighting type I know is Poliwrath and I don't know anyone who uses him. Fire/Psychic is interesting and so is Grass/Dark. Although, they still have yet to use the colors Orange, Gray and Purple as names.

Froakie is the first water starter that i dont like :/ Anyway the new regions been revealed:



Kalos (Japanese: カロス地方 Kalos-chihō) is a region of the Pokémon world. It is the setting of Pokémon X and Y. It is based on France.
The outline of the Kalos region resembles the outline of France, and Lumiose City is located in the center of the region, analogous to Paris.

No actually, it was quite clever. Since a 3D plane holds the X, Y and Z cordinates and this is the first game they are making for 3DS, they simply named the game after the cordinate planes. Im pretty sure they will make a 3rd (ex. Emerald) and name it Z. Although B/W and B2/W2 didnt have them so...~

I hated mega evolutions i think there kinda stupid and too much like digimon but the mega versions of the three original starter pokemon look so amazing :D
