What kind of Pokémon do you prefer to train?

So people, do you prefer training Pokémon that you like, even if they aren't that strong, or using strong Pokémon that you don't necessarily like? Personally, I try to use strong Pokémon, but only ones I somewhat like. Whenever I play a Kanto game, though, I always catch a Pikachu and wait for as long as possible before evolving it.

The cute ones, always. I run teams of just the cutest six(or five and a powerful for Gen III)

Like what? When I think cute, I think Pichu and Eevee and stuff, but what do you consider cute?

I would train 2 Zigzagoons, and trade a Linoone for a Kadabra (Nao I have a troller and a special attack bomb)

I don't like Zigzagoon. I'm not sure why, but I don't.

I train my starter as well as Pokemon whose designs I like AND are strong. In Ruby, I mainly focused on my Swampert, and it was the only Pokemon I basically used. It 'murdered' the Elite Four XD

Lol, no offense, but Swampert has a quad weakness to grass. And if May always uses your weakness, you are doomed. I still use Swampert due to the fact that its stats are BEASTLY compared to Sceptile.
