Time to train Lin!

Begin Training

The small clearing was perfect for training. "Alright, we're going to work on some of your attacks, one at a time." Yuki said, earning a small, happy squee from the Spheal beore it turned to face the lone boulder in the clearing.

"Alright, let's start with Powder Snow, make it colder so that way it freezes the boulder." the blue and orange clad trainer comanded. Lin took a deep breath before releasing a gust of powdery snow onto the boulder. It slowly began to become frozen as ice started to form on it. "Good. Now let's work on Water Gun, then switch into Rollout." he suggested.


Lin blasted a powerful stream of ice cold, high pressure water at the boulder, causing the ice to crack some before he turned the power up a notch, causing the crack to grow in size. He then curled up into a ball and began to spin as fast as he could, he then sped off towards the boulder and slammed into it as hard as he could, causing the thick sheen of ice to break before a crack formed in the boulder itself from the powerful blow.

"That's all we really needed to work on bud, I believe we're ready to take on Minoru!" Yuki laughed, earning a happy squee from Lin, who returned to his trainer's side to be petted.

(MS Word says "227" is the word count. So that's 22.7 EXP, I'd round it off to 23. Spheal levels up to Level 13 and gets 11 EXP. D'ya have other topics that need modding?)
