Here he was, Hana Zakari, on a route training up for the big day he started challenging the Gyms in Hoenn. He wanted to be the absolute best, and no one would get in his way of that goal. Wanting to get started right away, he quickly sent out Blaze, his trusty Combusken. The Fire/Fighting type let out an excited cry of it's species' name, ready to get things started. This caused Hana to smile a bit, liking the fact that Blaze was always ready for a fight, and always ready to train. It did his heart good that his trusty friend was always ready to go.

Deciding to get things started, Hana gave the Combusken his first command. "We're gonna work on just a single move today, since these are the ones you'll be using most of the time, at least until you evolve. I want you to work on the speed as to which you perform Swords Dance" Hana said to the Combusken with a serious expression on his face, wanting the Pokemon to get started. In response to Hana's command, Blaze let out a cry of his species' name that indicated he took it more as a challenge, rather than an order, and quickly started to get to work.

In a flash, he started working through the motions and intricacies of the Swords Dance maneuver. Blaze had known Swords Dance for a long time, and had used it quite a bit, so it had practically memorized every small detail about Swords Dance. However, performing it at a different speed took a lot of work, and he often tripped himself up trying to perform them faster. It was very difficult performing the moves at a different speed, but Blaze was determined to get it down. No matter how tired he got, Blaze was not stopping for anything, or anyone, until he got it down.

However, as the hours dragged on, Hana noticed a significant improvement in Blaze's performance. Eventually, Blaze got so skilled in the Swords Dance move that he was capable of performing it so quickly that only someone who had mastered it could really pull it off. Hana smirked in pride, knowing that Blaze was just one step closer to being the most powerful Blaziken the world would ever see. He hugged the tired Combusken, and called him back into his Pokeball, Hana knowing that Blaze has earned his rest today.

It was the second day of his training, although it wouldn't be the last. Right now, he was wanting to train his Weavile enough that it can match the rest of his team. When that was done, he could train his Eevee finally, and then it was off to battle Roxanne. So, deciding to not waste any time, he threw the Pokeball that contained his trusty Weavile, watching with a smirk on his feminine, beautiful face, as Slash appeared out of his Pokeball. Weavile let out a confident cry of his species' name, ready to begin his training so that he could become the most powerful Weavile in existence.

Wanting to get right down to business, Hana let out a set of instructions for the Weavile to follow. "Alright Slash, listen up. Due to your typing, the main attacks you'll want to focus on will be Ice Punch and Faint Attack. Depending on how things go, we might work on Fain Attack and Ice Shard, but right now, let's focus on Ice Punch. If we have enough time, I promise we'll work on them" Hana said to the Weavile, causing Slash to nod his head in a confident manner. After eying a nearby tree, the Weavile decided to start working his Ice Punch attack, since that was the stronger move.

Without bothering to mince any words, Slash quickly went to work. Right now, it focused on gathering the appropriate aura for Ice Punch, since it knew that speed was very important for his species. The Weavile just spent a great deal of time on gathering the amount of aura, wanting to lessen the time it took. Speed was essential for attacks, as he wouldn't be able to hit his opponents if he was too slow. After a certain amount of time had passed, Slash noticed that he had managed to vastly cut down the time it took to gather the necessary aura for Ice Punch.

When that was done, Slash quickly moved on from gathering the aura, to unleashing the Ice Punch upon the trees. While Slash was very good at Ice Punch, he hadn't mastered it yet, and that's what he wanted to do at this current point in time. He wanted to be able to unleash his Ice Punch at any moment, no matter the circumstances. To do this, he would have to get used to it, know every last detail about it, and practice it until he got sick of it. It was the only guaranteed method of being able to use it in the way he preferred the most.

As the hours dragged on, more and trees were slowly frosted over, and in some cases outright shattered after being hit by the Ice Punches, and Slash was starting to get a little tired. However, he was not gonna give up yet, as he felt he still had not mastered the move that was sure to be it's signature move. He swore to himself that he would not give in until he had successfully mastered one of his most powerful techniques. While the fatigue was truly starting to set into the Male Weavile, Slash didn't let it distract him. He would practice this move for as long as necessary, or until he was knocked unconscious by fatigue.

After practicing a bit longer, the Weavile went to it's knees from sheer fatigue. Hana smirked to himself when he saw the result of Slash's training, and decided that the Male Weavile deserved some rest. So, without a single word or sound, he called Slash back into his Pokeball. When he saw what time it was on his portable clock, he quickly decided it was time to hit the sack and set up camp.
