1 The start of an adventure, Pallet Town (Jacob, Cyber, Kabong)

Ian was in the sinnoh airport with his baby pichu in his arms. He finally had enough money to go on holiday and even to go to Kanto. He had never been there before but he had heard a lot about the region. He couldn't wait to see what kind of pokemon would be there and he wanted to see the contest that were held there. He had always competed in contest but this time he was going to watch with all the other people for once. He wanted to know if it was any diffrent from competing in a normal contest. ''Flight 47 to Kanto is ready for bording at gate 7'' He heard the female voice from the speakers and quickly went to gate 7 He showed his ticket and went inside. He was a bit nervous he had never been in a plane before. He was practically shaking when it was going into the air but he relaxed once the plane he was in was steady. He looked outside and fell afsleep thinking about Kanto.

The plane arrived a few hours later. He woke up when it began to land and yawned. ''Ah man I have fallen aflseep'' He said while looking at the pichu that was in his arms. He was just smiling and it made him smile too. He let him sit on his left shoulder when they were stepping outside. When he was outside of the building he took a deep breath. ''So this is Kanto huh? not to diffrent from Sinnoh is it'' He said to pichu which he awnsered with a smile. He then walked to a car. He knew this car would lead him to prof oak and old friend of his mother. He stepped in and looked around while they were driving through pallet town. He saw all kinds of pokemon like he had never seen before and it looked awesome. Finally the car stopped in front of a building and Ian did stepped out. He first looked at the building before going inside. It had a lot of machinary what he did not know. Then he saw professor Oak. ''He prof how is it going he said'' While awaiting an awnser.

"Ah, it's going fine. Thank you for asking." Professor Oak nodded. "I'm just waiting for the Trainers who are getting their starters and Pokedexes today. Can't very well start a journey without a Pokedex and a Pokemon, right?" The Prof. chuckled.

Prince woke up and saw his Munchlax eating a Oran berry and said "Come on Munchlax we gotta go to the lab so that i can get a new Pokemon and my Pokedex so that i can start our journey". Prince threw his clothes on and ran downstairs he said goodbye to his mom as he threw hiss backpack on and he left. Prince was running to the lab with Munchlax on his back. He stormed in and saw a Professor Oak chatting with someone. Prince said "I hope I'm not intruding or anything" he then looked at Professor Oak and said " Hello Professor Oak I'm here to receive my Pokemon and my Pokedex".

''Yeah you are right'' Ian said while looking at professor oak. After a while of talking he heard a boy come in. He thought it was a little bit rude not to knock first but he was probably excited about the begin of his journey. He laughed a little when he saw the munchlax follow behind him. It was a funny sight. ''So you are the new one huh?'' He said with a warm smile. ''Nice to meet you I am Ian and your name is ... '' He awaited for an awnser from the young boy wondering what his name would be.

Prince looked at Ian and said "Hi I'm Prince nice to meet you". Prince turned around and went behind Munchlax and said "and this is my partner Munchlax". Munchlax then went behind Prince and went in his bag and took out 2 Oran berries and gave one to Professor Oak and one to Ian. Prince said " You 2 should try them there pretty good". Then he looked at professor Oak and said " so about this pokemon I'm about to get am i allowed to choose from many or you have one for me that you picked out"?

"Well, you arrived rather early, so everything's still here." Prof' Oak said, motioning to a table of Pokeballs. He walked Prince over to it. Behind the table, there were a bunch of Pokedexes. "Take your pick. You get one."

Prince looked at all the pokeballs. after about a minute he grabbed one and said "I want this one, COME ON OUT LITTLE BUDDY" and with that Squirtle appeared Prince when up to him and patted him on the head and said "Are you ready to come on our journey." The Squirtle jumped up in excitement. Munchlax walked over to Squirtle and they started playing around. He said " Thanks Oak i really appreciate this Thank you very much". Prince then picked up a Pokedex and said well i guess I'll be on my way come on Munchlax, you to Squirtle. Prince started to walk out.

Ian smiled as he saw the two pokemon play with each other. It was such a funny sight. ''Uhm professor oak I will be taking a pokedex as well if I am correct my mom allready told you that I am going to start a journey here '' He got a pokedex from the table and looked at the pokeballs. He then walked towards Prince who was walking towards the exit of the building. ''Hey Prince do you mind if I come with you on your journey. I am a great chef and maybe I can help you I mean the more the merrier right?'' When he said that last sentence he smiled hoping he could come with him.

When Prince heard what he smiled and turned around and said "Of course its gonna be great having a companion on this journey". Prince thought to himself Yes a friend I don't have many but Ian seems like a pretty cool. Prince looked at Squirtle and Munchlax and said " Guys look we have a new friend who is coming with us on our adventure". His Pokemon jumped up in glee. Prince then looked at Ian and said "come on we gotta get going I wanna get a head start on this journey, Bye Professor Oak thanks for everything". As Prince walked out he turned around a said "Hey Ian you forgot to grab your pokemon".

He was listening to what Prince was saying and got a shocked look on his face. ''Of course, please wait here'' He ran back and went inside the lab. There were only two pokeballs left and he quickly got the one that was the most on the right. He didn't care to look which pokemon was inside the pokeball. He quickly had a little chat with professor oak and left all his pokemon's there. He wanted to start fresh in this new region. The only pokemon he took with him was pichu who was sleeping on his shoulder. He then arrived back at Prince. He had to catch his breath before he could say anything. It had been a long run and he needed a moment to breath. ''I got one, I only decided to take Pichu with me since it is still a baby so are you going to do gym's, contest, or havent you decided yet'' He looked at him while walking towards the next town. He knew the next town would not have a gym or a contest but they could at least stay there for the night.

Prince looked at the Pichu and smiled and then as they were walking Ian asked Prince a question. Prince replied with "i wanna battle all the gyms and become the Best Trainer that ever lived." Prince looked at his back and saw that his Munchlax had fallen asleep. Prince said "Hey check the map and see how far away we are its pretty dark." Prince then said "What about you, what do you wanna do".

Ian looked up at the sky. The stars were shining brightly maybe as a sign for the start of their journey. ''Me?'' He asked with a questioning face. ''I want to become a top coordinator wait I will show you something'' He got his backpack from his back carefull not to wake pichu and got a small soft orange case. ''This is called a ribbon case this is where coordinators keep their ribbons. This case is from Sinnoh As you can see I had two ribbons there. If you have five you are able to enter in the grand festival. It is pretty much the same as the pokemon league only for coordinators.'' He looked at his ribbons and put the case back into his backpack. Then he got an electronique map. ''Hmm the next city is not far from here anymore it should be close. If we keep walking in this direction we will see it soon and I will make some dinner for us and the pokemon'' He turned his map off and kep walking. ''So have you ever been on a journey or is this your first time?''

Prince thought that the Ribbon case was cool. Prince replied to Ian's question with " Yeah this is my first journey....... You know i didn't have many friends. Everyone thought my dream was stupid So my Classmates exiled me. That's why i I'm glad your here with me because we are friends. So what Pokemon did you get".

Ian listened with Prince with a straight face. '' I dont know '' he said while looking at the pokeball on his belt. He had made the belt himself and it was easy to keep the pokeballs on it due to a electric magnet. '' I just picked the pockeball that felt right for me'' He then threw the pokeball into the air and said, ''Take the stage'' A balbasaur appeared and Ian set down to pet it. ''Awh aren't you cute well we are going to be traveling buddies what do you think about that?'' The balbasaur smiled and Ian placed it back into its pokeball after talking with it for a while. ''Look I can see the pokemon center up ahead.'' It was serounded by light of all colours. ''Come on let's go in I will make some dinner. And by the way I don't understand why your classmates made fun of your dream it is a nice dream just like it is my dream to become to coordinator one day''

Prince smiled and then he said "Come on" and he started running. When they arrived at the Pokemon Center Prince took Munchlax of his back and woke him up. Then Prince threw a pokeball in the air and Squirtle came out. Prince looked at Ian and said "whats for dinner im starving".

''Well since its our first dinner I shall go all out'' Ian said while going towards the kitchen you wait in the restaurant. He entered the kitchen and began too coock some nice things up. He knew Prince was hungry and muchnlax loved to eat so he decided to make something more extra. It was about twenty minuts when he came back. He had made so much that some of the other people who were helping in the pokemoncenter had to help him carry it towards their table. There was almost no room for the place. He had mad 4 kinds of salade, two kinds of fishes (4 of everyone), 4 pair of steak, a pan of soup and for desert: pudding, or home made ice cream.Well I hope this is good enough Ian sat as he thanked the people who helped him carry it. ''Pichu, wake up'' He softly petted pichu and the pokemon sat on its shoulder rubbing its eyes. It was so cute to see. ''Here I made you some special pokefood just the way how I always made it in sinnoh. The pichu smiled hapily and jumped of his shouldr to eat the pokefood. ''Ok I guess that is a sign that we should eat somethinng as well isn't it Ian said with a smile. ''I presume munchlax can eat from the food I made cause I have some special pokefood for him if he doesn't like this.''

Prince, Squirtle, and Munchlax stared with there jaws dropped at the sight of the meal. Prince and Ian and there pokemon started to dig in. Half way through the meal Prince looks at Ian and says "This is the greatest meal i have ever ate it is delicious" then Munchlax looked up and gave Ian a thumbs up. Once they were done eating Prince stood up and looked at Ian and said "Hey Ian lets battle 2 on 2".

Ian smiled at seeing them eating and he began to eat himself. It was as good as he had hoped for. ''Thanks but it is not me it is all these fresh vegetables and all the other things that made it so good I just use what I've learned'' He smiled when he said that glad they liked what he had made and smiled even more if possible when he saw munchlax give him a thumb up. Then then went eating further. Nothing could be heard except from the knifes and forkes and of course the sounds of eating coming fromt their mouthes. After a while they were done and Ian stood up to clean up their plates when he heard what Prince was saying. Huh? Uh sure of course I would love to but go easy on pichu he is just a baby kay?'' He quickl cleaned up and went with Prince towards the battlefield behind the pokecenter. It was night and the stars shined brightly. Once on the battlefield Ian got serious and said: ''You know if I had my other pokemon you would never have won'' Smiling as he said it. ''Come on balbasaur take the stage'' He yelled while throwing his pokeball into the air gracefull and balbasaur appeard ready for battle.

Prince didn't hesitate when Ian threw out his Bulbasaur Prince yelled "SQUIRTLE I CHOOSE YOU" and with that Squirtle landed on one hand and with this the battle has started. "Squirtle run up to Bulbasaur and use Tackle".

Ian knew he was going to use squirtle. It was his starter pokemon so he wanted to try it out. ''Balbasaur dodge it'' Ian yelled as he saw the squirtle flying towards him. Damn that pokemon is quick he thought. Balbasaur jumped aside dodging the attack ''Quickly use tackle on his as well'' Ian yelled. The balbasaur ran towards the squirtle from its side hoping to hit him. He had the advantage but he still had no grass moves, and this would just be a battle of strenght and speed. They both had the same attacks so he wondered who would win. Maybe the own with more experience or the newbie.

Prince yells "Squirtle take the hit" Squirtle gets hit by the tackle and fly's back a little "NOW SQUIRTLE USE TACKLE" Prince thought this move should hit since Bulbasaur is only a few feet away from Squirtle the Prince thought to himself If my Squirtle goes Munchlax will have to dominate if i have any chance in winning.

Ian was completely focused on the battle. Nothing else mattered. He felt like he could only watch the battle and he felt the rush of the battle. He looked at the squirtle who took the painfull hit from his side. The hit had obviously done some damage. He was suprised the squirtle could still move and was suprised that he saw he was even able to use tackle again. ''Use tackle as well balbasaur'' Ian said as balbasaur began to run towards the squirtle. Their heads collided and they both flew back and flew against a tree. Their was a cloud of dust by each of them. The collision had obviously taken a lot of damage from both of them. Balbasaur could barely stand as he stood up. ''Bablbasaur can fight through'' Ian said while looking at the dustcloud surrounding squirtle wondering if he had won.

Prince looked at the cloud and saw Squirtle lying down he said "Well nice job it seems Squirtle is unable to battle SQUIRTLE RETURN." Prince looked at the pokeball and said "you did great pal" then Prince looked at Munchlax and said "LETS ROCK" Munchlax ran to the battlefield. "Prince said "LETS SHOW THEM YOUR TRUE POWER MUNCHLAX, MUNCHLAX USE DOUBLE EDGE ON BULBASAUR."

Ian was happy to see that he had won the first battle. He knew munchlax would be coming next and he knew he did not stand a chance. He looked at the munchlax who used his double edge and knew he had lost. He would not use his pichu, he did not want his pokemon to get hurt quit yet. He saw balbasaur faint due to the power of the attack. He ran at a fast pace toward him. ''Balbasaur just rest for now you did a great job'' Ian said to him while returning him to his pokeball. ''Sorry but I don't want pichu to get hurt quite yet he is just a baby'' he told Prince while looking at him who was sleeping on his shoulder. Pichu was probably tired from the day and from the flight towards Kanto. ''Shall we go back to our room we need our sleep as well and our pokemon can rest with nurse joy tonight'' He went back to the pokemon center and gave his pokeball to nurse joy. ''Nurse joy can you please take care of balbasaur and squirtle tonight?''
''Of course just give me their pokeballs'' She replied while holding her hands up.

Prince and Ian gave nurse joy their pokeballs and 5 minutes after that she returned them. Prince and Ian went to the room they had rented and prince threw a pokeball in the air and Squirtle came out and landed on one hand then went on his feet. Prince looked at Ian and said "I guess it time to go to bed because we have to go Pewter city so that i can have my first gym battle and i think there is a contest in Pewter city" and with that Prince went to sleep.
