Daves Journey begins [Mod pls]

Dave began his adventure traveling on route 209, leaving Solaceon Town and hoping to reach Hearthome soon. "Goodbye, home", he said while he looked back a last time. Whismur, who walked right next to Dave, stopped and raised his hand to his mouth, wandering what was going on.

Davion kneeled down and spoke to Whismur: "I already told you several times that we´d leave home today and go on an adventure."
"Whis...", the Pokemon sighed.
Dave peted his confused partner, when suddenly...

A startled screech sounded above Dave. Following that screech, the frantic beating of wings made an unsettling noise above the trainer and Pokemon. The noises were made from a Starly, which was desperately trying to break free from a tree vine that seemed to have caught his leg.

Starly, Female, Level 10

Surprised by the screech, Dave looked up. "Look, Whismur!", he said, but his Partner was lookin in any diraction but upwards. "Up", Davion added, feeling anoyed and amused by Whismurs confusion at the same time. After Whismur had also noticed the Starly, his Trainer said: "We gotta help that poor thing." Unable to climb and knowing Whismur couldn't do so eather, Dave thought about the situation for a moment.

Since he didn´t see anyone around an couldn´t think of anything better, he simply threw one of his precious Pokeballs towards Starly. "Just trying to help", he shoutet while the object flew towards the hepless Pokemon.

The Pokeball hit its mark, and in a flash of red, Starly was sucked inside. The ball fell back down to earth, wiggled once, twice, a third time, then surprisingly, the bird Pokemon was caught!

Starly was caught! Would you like to give her a nickname?

"Great! Seems good deeds pay out!", he said, Now come out, Starly! The Pokemon got out of its Pokeball, happily jumpin around. At the same time, Whismur hid behind one of Davions legs. "Don´t be shy., he calmly said to his partner, "Starly is now part of our Team." "So, how are you?", the Trainer asked his new Pokemon, while Whismur kept motionless. The Starly flew up and landed on Daves shoulder.

"Okay, i think that means your okay.", Dave noted. Slowly, Whismur began to leave its hiding place while carefully looking around if any other strangers where around.

A random Trainer, a Youngster, approached Dave, having watched him catch a Starly. "Hey Mister, would you like to battle me?" The young trainer was practically bouncing around, he was that excited. He had a bright smile on his face that showed he really wanted a friendly battle.

" 'Course I do!", Dave replied. Whismur, are you ready?" "Whismuuuuuuur!", it shouted in a rather soft way, meaning in a volume normal to humans.
At first, Whismur went exactly the wrong way, but noticed his mistake soon. Balancing on one leg, it took an instand 180° turn and slowly approached a spot that looked fit for a battlefield.

The Youngster cheered and set out a Starly. (Starly, Female, lvl. 6.) "You can have the first move Mister!"

"If you say so.", Dave said. His opponent seemed even more inexperienced than Dave was, but he wasn´t going to underastimate him. On top of it, he like flashy moves, so he commanded Whismur: Whismur, start with a Smoke Screen Attack.
Slowly but steadily, the area around Whismur filled with smoke that would make it hard to see.

"Barrel on through with a Tackle!" The Starly complied, running through the Smokescreen and launching itself, head forward. It didn't know where Whismur was, but it was not going to second guess it's trainer.

Davion had to choke a lough as the clueless Starly started it´s attack.
It wasn´t even close to hiting Whismur and just when it (the Starly) had almost passed the Smoke Screen, Davion let Whismur unleash its attack: "Pound, now!" Whismur emerged from the smoke, launching a Pound-Attack with one of its ears, hoping to get an advantage fron the surprise.

The Starly got socked pretty hard in the chest by the Pound and flew out of the Smoke Screen, skidding across the ground. "Starly!" The tiny bird Pokemon proved itself to be tough, as it pulled itself up and stood proudly. "Use Steel Wing!" Now that Starly knew where Whismur was, it was a fairer fight. Starly's wings turned into steel and it launched at Whismur, aiming to slice it with it's wings.

Nether Davion nor Whismur where fast enough to counteract, so Whismur was hit directly by Starlys Attack. "Are you okay?", Dave asked, but Whismur got back up quickly. A short sigh escaped his lips.

"Let´s mess things up again. Double Team!"
Numerous copies of Whismur formed a circle around Starly. Davion would wait for his opponents next move, watching the situation closely, but not as close as to get an headache from watching Double Team.

Starly was confused, looking around randomly. The thing going through her mind was likely 'Where did they come from?!' The Youngster was shouting commands to her, but she didn't hear. At the moment, she was dazed from all the Pokemon surrounding her.

Seeing how confused starly was, Davion thought it´d be the perfect time for the finishing strike. It was a rather risky move, but Dave told Whismur to use Uproar. Whismur started bouncing up and down, screaming out with the sound of an starting airplane. Meanwhile, the copies faded. But if the Attack would hit, it would deal an anormous amount of damage. At least Davion hoped so.

Whismur gained 6 EXP.

The attack did indeed deal enormous damage and the opponent Starly fainted right there. Youngster ran over to his Pokemon and returned it, then approached Davion. "Thanks Mister. Here." The kid handed him 340 PD, then left.

He seemed to be quite in a hurry after the battle., Dave noted. "Good job, Whism...", when he noted that his Partner was already taking his well earned nap.

He took Starly, who had watched a battle, back into her Pokeball and picked up Whismur. Carrying his trusted companion in his arms, Dave continued his way to Hearthome, soon reaching more lively areas neer that dastination.
