Looks: Umbro is 5'8" tall and weighs 58kg. He has very dark brown short hair and fairly olive skin, contrasted by his light green eyes. He normally wears white shorts and a black jacket where he keeps his Pokeballs and books.
Personality: Bears grudges all the time. Very cynical, but becomes trusting after a while. Caring to strangers or friends but aggresive and hateful to anyone he dislikes. He is a fairly chatty guy but every now and then goes silent, deep in thought. He thinks way too much about stuff that isnt important, but is still pretty smart.
History: Umbro was born in Goldenrod City to a single mother (his father was killed by a gangster at a pub,) along with his older brother and sister. His older siblings cared for him a lot and often bashed everyone who was mean to Umbro, as he was often bullied for having a simgle mother.

However, one day his brother was arrested and jailed for robbing a supermarket many times to support the family, (Umbro never knew of this,) and him and his sister were then beaten up badly now that the fear of his older brother was nullified.

In hospital, a trainer came to visit him and gave him a Cyndaquil out of pity, and hearing that his grandfather was a legendary trainer, of which Umbro hadnt heard.

Upon leaving the hospital he asked his mother and she said that he was and gave Umbro his diary. The diary detailed his grandfather's ventures through Johto, Hoenn and Unova, earning 24 badges and beating many members of the various Elite 4, and even catching a legendary Ho-oh. 

Umbro then asked what happened to him and his mother said that he went to explore some islands and never came back. He then vowed to become like his grandfather and carried his diary with him, and started his own, before going on an adventure following his amazing grandfather's footstep.
