Burton begins

Wes 'Burton' Burton was heading into the sunlight, stretching and yawning. He scratched his back, and called, "Come on Charmander, time to go! That yellow Pidgey we saw earlier won't be here much longer!" He started strolling away onto route two. Charmander pricked up her head and turned. "Char!" she said enthusiastically and broke away rather reluctantly from the passing firetruck. They headed off, following what looked like rather yellow feathers. They found a(n) ____!

Burton jumped. "Charmander! Look! Think you can handle it?" he called, scanning the Spearow with his Pokedex for any possible additional information. "Char!" she called back, getting into a battle position. "Okay, Scratch, GO!" She rushed forward, claws in the air, ready to bring them down onto the as of yet genderless Pokemon's head.

it hit spearow then it flew up in the air and dove at charmander with a glowing beak using peck

Charmander was hit and knocked down. "Charmander! You okay?" Asked Burton, concerned for her sake. She stood and grunted, then shook herself off. "Charmander!" she said in affirmation. "Okay, Scratch again! Really give it all you've got!" She gave Burton a look that said, "I already do," then raced towards Spearow, claws arching through the air towards its face. Burton scanned it with his Pokedex, trying to determine its gender.

it was a male then the spearow was hit and while at close range used wing attack

"Alright, Scratch his eyes!" Called Burton, hoping that the combined force of the the Spearow's speed coupled with Charmander's Scratch move would cause a critical hit. He checked his Pokedex again to determine the Spearow's remaining HP. Speaking of HP, Charmander's was getting rather low after the most recent Wing Attack hit.

(Um... A reply, please, someone? My last post was three days ago, so my double-post is justifiable.)

it did hit then spearow fainted and charmander gained a level

Charmander looked a bit weary after winning the battle against the odds and Burton congratulated her. He set her on his shoulders and jogged back to the city, healing her in the Pokemon Center there. They then headed back out into the field. They continued searching until they found a(n) _________!

rattata level 5

(It occurs to me that you didn't edit Charmander's level on my trainer profile. I'll do that.)
"Charmander, Growl!" Charmander did as she was told, growling cutely at the Rattata.

rattata's attack was lowered then used tackle

It slammed into Charmander. "Char!" she said in annoyance. "Scratch!" said Burton in determination. Charmander rushed up to Rattata, claws raised.

rattata used quick attack dodging the claws by going under then tackling charmanders stomach

As the wind was knocked out of Charmander, Burton said, "Grr... It's not going all that well Charmander... How are you handling?" She shook her head without making an audible reply. "Alright Scratch again!" She raised her claws again, though rather feebly, stepping menacingly towards Rattata.

(done)Rattata saw this and tackled charmander once more baring its teeth then yelled"TATAAAA"And leaped

They collided at the same time and they were both hurt. Charmander was getting pretty worn out, and Burton could see that this battle might not be blowing in quite the right direction. Burton finally came to a decision. "Okay, Scratch one last time."

Ratata dodged and used tackle put tripped and faceplanted and fainted(XD luck,its crazy)

(Heh heh, luck is a good thing. :P)
Charmander looked proud, yet slightly confused that the ground had so easily done what she had been trying to do for several minutes. Again, they healed in the Pokemon Center in Viridian, but then they got bored of battling these Pokemon and opted to head for a different city instead, as they figured the Yellow Pidgey was probably long-gone. So they went off along route one to Pallet town.
