Chapter 1: Let It Go

Walking on the ground of "a town where the wind blows and tells of impending change", Beedee Arcs decides to escape and someday return to fight his own Paranoia which developed in New Bark Town. "The Paranoid" has his long-time pet and friend, Totodile who will soon get used to all the fighting and stress that they will encounter throughout their journey. It has been an hour since Beedee taught Totodile how to fight on his own and without waiting for any commands from his Trainer.

As his white sneakers tap the soil, Beedee slides his left hand inside the upper left pocket of his pocket pants and takes his wallet out. He opens it and makes sure that everything is there; his school ID, Trainer Card, a picture of his parents and $6,200 cash. He closes it slides it back to where it was after making sure it's all there.

Making sure the important things are in his wallet, he now checks if the things he will need for this journey are with him. He unbuttons the leather satchel with its strap diagonally crossing his body, with the bag hanging on the opposite hip. He takes a look and finds five empty Pokéballs on its smaller form which is the size of a ping-pong ball.

He buttons it and takes a look on its only pocket and finds a Pokéball the same size of the empty ones but this one contains his Totodile. Making sure everything is fine; he now sets his usual Paranoid mood into positivity. He remembers one of his favorite Rap Rock band's song and plays it on his mind because the band's music makes him feel safe and secure. But of course he trusts his Creator more than them.

He stops walking upon noticing a sign which says, "Welcome to Route 29." Beedee has not realized that he has walked away from his town already. He smells freshly cut grass and sees the grassy areas and ledges which can be hopped to from the other side to avoid the wild Pokémon. He gets excited upon the thought that he will finally get to see how strong the wild Pokémon that he sees here every day are.

He cautiously brisk walks towards the grassy areas and slowing down upon setting foot on it. He puts his left hand on his satchel's only pocket and takes Totodile's Pokéball out, holding it with two fingers as he looked around him, waiting cautiously and excitedly for a foe, be it a wild Pokémon or a rookie Trainer like him.

(ZOMG. I think this has been my longest RP post ever. Well, let's say I'm fired up because Linkin Park is playing on my speakers right now. If Bruce Mathers' comments are based on my tough guy side, then Beedee is based COMPLETELY on the real life me.)

A Solosis hovered out of the grass, looking annoyed. It took one glance at the trainer standing there and the Totodile by his side and hovered into battle stance.


Level 25

(OMG level 25?! XDDDDD Totodile is level 12 XD well crap... lets make this a dirt dance floor! :3)

"My first battle is against a tough-looking foe... I must not lose! But really, I haven't seen this Pokemon before. Is this one of those from the newly discovered region of Unova?" Beedee thought. Totodile is snet out. "I'm sure this foe hits hard... Totodile, Rage!"

Totodile used Rage! A move whose power increases once the user is hit! The stronger the hit, double the strength of Rage! Which will help Totodile against the monstrous-levled foe

(All right.)

Being hit by the Rage made Solosis unleash it's own as it used Astonish, screaming in high pitches, trying to get Totodile to flinch.

Totodile did not flinch but took the attack, it increased the power of rage twice! "Another" totodile used rage

(getting lazy for stylish stuff XXD)

(Never mind. I'm not stylish either so I don't really mind.)

Solosis was getting puzzled. The more it attack at Totodile, the more it was getting hurt in return. It regarded it's foe before unleashing a Psyshock.

Totodile took the hit and felt that one. Rage got even more powerful, like quadrupled the sttrength. "UNLEASH" Totodile used anotehr Rage, even omre powerful than the last

Solosis was hit and nearly down. It hovered angrily and quickly used Recover, recovering some health which would allow it to survive longer. It then unleashed another Psyshock.

Totodile took the hit, Rage getting EVEN MOAR stronger. Totodile's getting weak as well. "It's now or never! RAGE!" Totodile fired another Rage whose strength should be more than enough to knock down the recovered energy and the left over energy fo th foe!

('Moar'?)

Solosis just about sneaked in a recover before the hit landed. It hung on by a thread and eyed it's foe warily. It quickly used Recover again, going to defensive now.

(its a cute way of saying more)

Since there wasnt any attack, Rage returned to its basic strength. "NO!" "WATER GUN!" Totodile used water gun at full power

Solosis dodged it as it used Recover again, returning it's health to a reasonable amount. Then it unleashed a Psyshock.

Totodile dodged. Totodile used Rage

Solosis took minimal damage as it unleashed another Psyshock.

"I don't really like capturing Pokemon I simply don't like... but I AM NOT HAVING MY FIRST BATTLE AS A LOST." he thought. Totodile dodges and Beedee throws ap okeball

Solosis was absorbed in the ball and it wiggled twice before it burst open. So close and yet so far. Solosis was not even near fainting. It unleashed another Psyshock at Totodile.

It was enough for Totodile to recover just a bit of energy. "Rage!"! totodile used rage after evading

Solosis dodged it and used another Psyshock.

Totodile dodged and used Rage again

The Rage hit this time, and Solosis began to grow frustrated. This battle was starting to drag on, so the little Pokemon let loose another Psyshock. This one was more powerful than the others, as it hoped to end the battle.

[The first battle of my main character ends up in failure. You are to be blamed! Kidding. :)]

Totodile, weaker and overpowered, gets hit by the attack. He gets taken off his feet as his back slams on the ground; eyes closing in fainting. "No... My first battle is a loss." Beedee said; being a perfectionist has this loss eating him.

[It's magical how the title matches the scene.]

He does what he always does when he feels bad -- remembering the songs of his favorite band. "It's easier to run. Replacing this pain with something numb." he sang in his mind -- Easier to Run by Linkin Park.

He withdraws his fainted Totodile and walks away from the foe who just won. He goes to a nearby Pokemon Center and heals up.

Goes back to the grassy and finds a wild Pokemon.
