Zach and The Z-Force

Zach: Dodge!

Ferdinand jumped in the air, dodging Yanma's Sonicboom.

Zach: Bubble!

Ferdinand then Let out a stream of Bubbles at Yanma

As the Bubbles popped against Yanma's person, it was refreshed by the small shower. It released another Sonicboom.

Ferdinand was hit by Sonicboom.

Zach: Peck!

Ferdinand sharpened his beak, then threw his Peck attack on Yanma.

Zach: How's Yanma using nothing but Sonicboom without tiring itself out?

Yanma was out of reach, however. Seizing the chance, it flew at Piplup and tried to Tackle it.

As Yanma came closer, Ferdinand swooped and clashed attempting to counter with his own tackle.

Yanma was blown back and fell to the ground, fainted.

Piplup gained 17 exp!
Piplup grew to level 17 with 2 exp remaining!

Zach: Yes! Good Job, Ferdinand!

Ferdinand: Piplup, Pip!

Zach then waited for the next challenger, or Pokémon, or whatever was going to happen next.

(You do realise you could evolve your Piplup, right?)

With the challenger defeated too, he took it in good nature. Smiling and extending his hand for a handshake, the next challenger walked in.

(Again, let's assume his pokemon are healed.)

Zach decided to send out Ferdinand yet again for the new Challenger.

The contender sighed and released his pokemon, Drilbur.


Level 19

Zach: Drillbur?

Zach scanned Drllburr with his Pokedex.

Zach: Alright, use Bubble!

Ferdinand went fourth and shot Bubbles at Drillburr

The Pokedex lit up as it scanned Drilbur.

'Drilbur-The Mole Pokemon
It makes its way swiftly through the soil by putting both claws together and rotating at high speed. By spinning its body, it can dig straight through the ground at a speed of 30 mph.'

The Drilbur rolled up and dived head first into the ground. It rotated just as the pokedex had described and tunnelled amazingly fast. It broke out of the ground just behind the Piplup just as it released the Bubbles, and lashed out with it's claws, trying to Scratch the Penguin pokemon.

It struck Ferdinand from the back. When he got back to his feet, he stared angrily at Drillbur.

Zach: Pound!

Ferdinand launched himself at Drillbur, using Pound.

The Drilbur was hit before diving back into the ground, cutting through it easily. It burst up again, straight in front of Piplup, before raking it's claws at another Scratch, and then dove down immediately again.

Ferdinand easily got hurt from the attack.

Zach: Careful Ferd!

Ferdinand looked very anxiously for his opponent to reappear

Drilbur stopped digging mid way as it's claws took on a sharp, steely glow. It clashed it's claws against each other a couple of times before continuing it's digging. It burst up from the side of the Piplup and slashed out with a Metal Claw.

Ferdinand was hit. Hard. And he flew back wards as he felt the impact of Metal Claw.

Zach: Use Bubble!

As Ferdinand was flying back, he unleashed an Attack of Bubbles on Drillbur.

This time Drilbur was struck and fell to the ground. Bubble was not a strong move but it was super effective. It got up slowly and clashed it's two claws together. It dove down again, adopting that sleek stance and Dug through again, coming out from the side again and lashing out with Metal Claw.

Ferdinand charged right into the way of the Metal Claw.

He took several hits while doing so, and wasn't looking too well.

As he charged, on Zach's orders he repeatedly used pound.

Drilbur was repeatedly peppered with Pounds. It raised it's claws to protect itself as the Pound continued to rain on the steely surface. It lashed out again with Scratch.

Ferdinand got with Scratch, and took hits to where it wasn't looking good.

Zach: Peck!

Ferdinand then pecked his opponent.

Drilbur skidded back and gritted it's teeth, growling angrily at Piplup. It slashed it's claws through the air and then dove back into the ground. It almost immediately erupted from behind Piplup and lashed out with a Mud Slap.

Ferdinand got slapped with Mud, taking a lot of damage, not looking good. He was also blinded by the mud apparently, and couldn't see what he was doing.

Zach: Quick! use bubble!

Ferdinand couldn't see his opponent, so he just flailed bubbles everywhere, hoping to hit Drillbur.

Drilbur squealed as the Bubbles collided against it and burst, causing much discomfort. It stroked itself with a massive claw before swiping at Piplup with Metal Claw.

Metal claw hit Ferdinand, and took an amount of damage to the point where he fainted.

Zach: Return, Ferdinand.

Zach recalled his Piplup and sent out his Houndour.

Zach: Kex! Use Sucker Punch!

Kex went up to the Drillbur and used Sucker Punch.
