Gabriel says goodbye

It's night... Gabriel goes to my bedroom, takes his Squirtie and they lie down under the warm blankets. Squirtie is so tired that he get asleep as soon as gabriel has put him on the bed. Instead, Gabriel can't sleep. He is so excited, because tomorrow he'll go to Mr Oak to start his new adventure, that he can't sleep! he thinks..: "It will be fantastic! Finally, I'll be a trainer in all respects! And I'll be the new champion! All these years spent training myself through my father's trials. He thinks that now I'm ready, ready to go, alone. Or not, i won't be alone! There will be Squirtie, who soon will evolve into Wartortle! I'm a little afraid of how he will act, but it's this the natural process. I have to defeat this fear! however, tomorrow it will be a hard day, so let's get slept! ... I've just become seventeen, so now i'm a man! I can do this! I can become what my father did not! I wont be able, i will be! I have to this! I will not return at home till i defy the actual champion! i'm looking forward tomorrow coming! ... Oh it's already 2 o' clock! okay, stop thinking, let's rest."
Finally Gabriel sleep...
The night elapses quietly.
...
S: "Squirle squirtle!" says Squirtle to Gabriel to wake him up. S:"Squirtle!"
G: "Hei, squirtie, good morning! ... Oh I'm in late!"
So Gabriel gets up faster than Raikou, washes up, eats, drinks, all in a hurry. Squirle looks at him a bit shocked, he has never been so fast in the morning! Then Squirle get him upstairs, in his bedroom. Gabriel is taking the last things and trying to put them all in the backpack.. G:"Oh the money! I was forgetting them!". Luckily for Squirtle, Gabriel's mother, Hanna, gave him something to eat because Gabriel didn't look after Squirtle. And for this Squirtle is a bit angry with him...
Finally he closes the bag, takes Squirtle on the other hand and they go downstairs. When they have come down, Squirtle isn't angry anymore... Both are so excited!

It was then that there was a knock on the door `thud thud thud` this being a friendly knock rather than an angry one.

"Well, it's time" Gabriel says to his parents. His mother, Hanna, seems to hide something.. Immediately however, Gabriel goes to the door and opens it. Squirtle follows him close

When the door was opened, Professor Oak was standing there looking at Gabriel and saying "I came to see where you were because, your late?" he then waited for Gabriel to give him a reason, smiling and tapping his foot.

G: "Oh, professor Oak, I'm so sorry, i couldn't sleep this night, and fallen asleep i wasn't able to wake up anymore. Now I'm ready, I was coming to you laboratory when you knocked".
So Gabriel greets his parents. But his mother stop him, she has a surprise for him: some new sneakers! In fact during his training in the mountain with his father he ruined his shoes, the training was very hard! And then his father gives him the sword of the family: "This, this sword, belonged to my father, and before to my gran father and so on for four generations. Now it's yours. Now you have the strenght and tenaciousness of a true Di Bona. In it there are all the spirits of our ancestors. Respect it and it'll help you. Goodbye son!" and then he embraces his son.
Then his mother kisses him and says: "Goodbye my son. I believe in you"
Now Gabriel is really ready to go.
"We can go professor"

Professor Oak smiled saying "That sounds just like someone else I know, anyway come along now" turning and leading Gabriel to the lab, passing many of the town's pokemon along the way. Once there Professor Oak opened the doors and went in, going through to his desk and opening it retrieving a Pokedex, he then turned back to Gabriel and said "Now then, here is your Pokedex, use it to record data on all of the pokemon from the Kanto Region for me and look after it, it also serves as your Identification" with that he thought for a second and began searching for something in the lab.

G:"Oh thank you Prof! I will look after it as much as my sword and my life. Promised"
Then he tries to understand what Mr Oak is looking for, he has no idea.

Oak finally clutches something in the drawer and holds it high into the air triumphantly shouting "I found you!" he looked at Gabriel seeing a quizzical expression upon his face and said, "This pokeball contains a pokemon that I trained to give to the right trainer when the time came, to assist me in my research so, look after it well" he then, decided to unveil the pokemon within, holding out the pokeball at arms length, "Meet your new trainer, Charmeleon!" a large fiery lizard emerging from the pokeball roaring, his burning spirit shining through, as he unleashed a Dragon Rage at the ceiling. Once finished with his introductions Oak relayed on some important information "This Charmeleon has been taught to use Fire Blast by yours truly, and has a unique knack for Ancient Power that could come in handy, okay?" waiting and letting Gabriel take it all in, the Charmeleon clearly being a born warrior.

"Oh really thank you!!! I didn't expect such a gift! i will take care of him! We will know each other better. Again Thank you!"

Squirtle and Charmeleon don't seem to like each other, but they haven't actually known each other yet. However, Debo hasn't noticed this, he's too excited! Then he put Charmeleon in the jacket but not for Squirtie, he walks with him

Professor Oak then said "Good, Good well then you have fun... Oh and one more thing a friend brought over from Unova" he took one of the four devices from his drawer and passed it to Gabriel saying "They call that a Xtransceiver, you can make calls to me on it and it has a map function ok? so don't hesitate to call me and ask if you need anything" with made his way to his computer to continue his research allowing Gabriel to leave and start his journey properly.

"Really Thank you professor Oak." But Oak was already in another world so that he didn't listen.
So Gabriel and his loyal Squirtie at his foot and the new arrived Charmeleon go out the lab.

I go toward the closest route of pallet

It was then that a Meditite (Female - lvl 10) maneuvered it's way past them looking rather confused, and rightly so, as they weren't usually native to Kanto. He then noticed Gabriel and waited to see what the stranger would do, maintaining a defensive stance in case he attacked.

G: "Oh a medidite! I'm Gabriel, you don't have to be scared! I'm a friend! Do you wanna join me? You will become the champion and I will demonstrate it!"

The Meditite tilted it's head to the side, confused by what Gabriel was saying, not understanding a word of it.

G: "So Squirtie, let's give him a demonstration of what we can do so that we'll make her understand.
S: "Squirtle squirtle" said Squirtle full of energy and excited for the first battle of the journey.
G: "Use Blizzard!!!"

Meditite gasped quickly putting her hands out in front of her, her eyes glowing purple and stopping the Blizzard with Confusion, spinning it around in mid-air and sending it back at Squirtle defensively, looking for an escape route being scared by the sudden attacks.

"Squirtle avoid it!" And Squirtle fell to the ground withdrawing in his shell and spinning itself like a whirligig, obtaining speed, that's power.
"Nice work, remember always what our father taught you. So now strike her with Tackle! Go!!!"

Meditite once again stopped Squirtle with Confusion picking up Squirtle and ramming him into Gabriel before, releasing him then, trying to escape from her attackers confused by the situation.

"Hei Squirtle what are you doing??? Go catch him!" So Squirtle tried to stand up but at first step he fell into the ground, i was completely confused. So Gabriel picked him up and sent Charmeleon. G: "charmeleon go!" But Char decided to sit down.

Meditite was incredibly scared levitating into a tree and hiding there crying, scared of the three attackers.

It was then that a familiar voice came from afar... "Heiii!"... "heeeeiiii! Gabriel!!! Where are you going!?" At these words gabriel blew up. It was Ros's voice!!!! He waited for her to come there and then he said very surprised: "Shouldn't you stay at home? You can't come, it's too dangerous, it's for your sake!, but immediately she replied: "I couldn't stay at home thinking all the time of you! I love you and i can't let bad things happen to you! So i will come with you, nobody will be able to do something to you if we are together! So let's go!" Gabriel was shocked and couldn't say word, still a little confused by Meditite attack.
Ros: "So what's going on here huh? Let me handle it... So Beldum, make Meditite come down, use Take down on the tree, but beldie, don't do it as an oppressor, you just want to help her, she has lost her family i assume, so..."
Meanwhile, Charmeleon got asleep

Meditite hadn't lost it's family but, was still scared not being removed from the tree due to the fact it was levitating in the branches.

Ros: "Hmmm, i guess i was wrong... She can't do anything to Beldum, but what can i do??"
G: "If Charie helps me... I don't know how to handle him.. It's new, Oak gave me him, i guess he couldn't stand him" and so they laugh.
G: "So come on Charmeleon, please get up! Don't you want to fight?"
