Pokemon of the Month? [October]

It is Halloween, which pokemon will be the winner?

I was torn between Houndoom and Darkrai. I went with Darkrai ^^

I voted for Houndoom... though I thought Markj did too. >> I like canines too much to not vote for it. XD

I was going to vote for Houndoom too, but my stupid mouse clicked on Darkrai...

Quite silly to put a legendary in there. This isn't even worth making a poll for :P

Kind of agree there. Should try to include Pokemon with close resemblance in status.

When I vote, I tend to close off the fact that it is legendary. ._. I don't really care if a Pokemon is legendary or not, to be honest. It could be Arceus, for all I care. Arcues vs Eevee... I'd vote Eevee. ^^

Basically, Fan-Favorites against Fan-Favorites, (I.E. Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander and Cyndaquil were the most popular aside from Mew, Lugia and Suicune which were the favored legendaries for gens I and II.)

If you include a legendary in the poll, two should be included at least to balance it out, but for this theme I feel Darkrai is more popular than Giratina either way.

Houndoom, Crobat and Gengar were popular, wisely chosen candidates to go up against one-another, though.

In a way, it's true that the poll is unbalanced. Think about it: Darkrai was specifically designed to be creepy/nightmarish and it is legendary, so the designers are guaranteed to have spent extra time making it that way.
I still see it as a fair fight though; the other Pokemon are creepy, it's just not as concentrated or intentional as it is in Darkrai.

Crobat all the way ^^ Simply for the sake that its pre-pre-evolution Zubat has always been a pain in the games to beat. Especially in the beginning. And those little bats with its evolution Golbat were just expert at appearing in caves.
