Alex woke up from his home in Pallet Town. He heard about Prof. Oak being a Pokemon Professor. Alex walked over towards the Pokemon Lab as he walked in. Alex's Charmander was walking beside him. All Alex needed was a pokedex and he could start his journey.

Alex said as he walked towards the back of the room towards the machine that held the other pokemon that trainers choose.
