Training in Ecruteak City

Mikado Sumimore was laughing hard about something. "Yes, I'll face that boy in battle eventually... I have a good feeling we will meet again. If only that so-called girl wouldn't interfere, maybe I would be able to face him," he was talking to himself. "Oh well, like I said, I wouldn't say anything to my m-" Something on Mikado beeped. Mikado took out a small item{Think of something like one of those communication things from Teen Titans. X3}, and opened it. It was the face of a man about twenty years.

"So, I take it you finished your little mission from that always-odd smile of yours?" The guy asked through the device, with a slight lisp in his voice.

"Yes, sir!" Mikado said through the thing.

"That's good.. where would you be now? And don't shout, you'll attract attention, and don't call me sir in public."

"Ecruteak City, si-- I mean...."

"Ecruteak City.. hmm... why don't you go train yourself and that discolored Vulpix for now? You could both use it. I'll phone you in after I find another task for you." The man said.

"Yes," Mikado said, and the screen of the device went black and he closed it, putting it in his pocket. He picked out a pokeball from his pocket, and went into the field. Hopefully a good pokemon would show so he may be able to gain something from battle. He sent out his vulpix which was a complete opposite color from normal. They searched for a pokemon and found a ________________.

A girl only she practicaly radiated darkness and death. Her long hair was pure white and eyes blood red. She had on a black gothic type outfit and was rather slender. She had a leash by which she was leading around some poor human boy. Only thing was he looked like he'd been hit by cupid's arrow and couldn't tell the girl was deadly and was following her willingly

Mikado had looked and nearly laughed at the view. "Who are you? I've not seen such an odd thing to do to a man before," Mikado says. He knew she wouldn't be one to mess with from such dark aura.

"Hmm? Oh my pet? I didn't do I thing but give him something to drink" the girl says not saying that drink had contained one of her specialties, a love potion. "I'm actually getting rather tired of him but I just can't decide what to do with him" the girl says. "Anything you wish" the boy says still 'floating on a pink cloud' not seeming to notice she was trying to decide on how to kill him

"Yes, do ANYTHING you wish with him... he must be rather bored if he says that, you should give him some type of... let's call it excitement," Mikado said, a bit of a smile forming. He actually wanted to see what she would do with him. She had darkness dripping from her for sure.

"I know. A little treat I havnt used yet" Devia says pulling a vial out of her bag. It seemed to be completely filled with a clear liquid with no air in it at all. "Mind swallowing this sweety?" the girl asks. The vial was small and seemed to be sealed with some sort of paper. Without asking questions the boy takes the vial and swallows it whole. Within seconds he starts screaming his lungs out smoke coming from his mouth and nose

Mikado couldn't hold back his laugh. "You're pretty good. What did you give the guy?" He asked, still calming himself. He always liked the scream of others who are tortured, though he prefered using fire, it was still fun to hear.

The boys screams choke off to a gurgle as he falls over still smoking. Soon his body finishs burning from the inside out and leaves only a pile of ash. "Liquid fire from a dragon. Completely harmless, until it hits air" the girl says checking her nails as if she hadn't just killed a boy by burning him from the inside out

"Fire... that is a good choice," Mikado says to her. "My own choice, though I cannot say I am able to get any from a Dragon... or liquified," He finished, "I have not yet learned that skill."

"You mortals havn't known that skill for over a thousand years" the girl chuckles obviously thinking she herself was immortal. Little would Mikado know that was actually the case, she couldn't die by any normal means

"How far do you date yourself back to? You don't seem that old.. or very old at all," Mikado says to her. "Well, too bad for me, I'm stuck only tracking for now... I should be allowed to kill soon, though," Mikado then says through a smile.

"Depends on which life you count. This life I'm about sixteen by mortal standerds and I kill as I wish. After all no one can stop Lady Death though I prefere being called Devia" the girl says chuckling. "So what's your name cuty?" she asks stepping closer

Mikado didn't like being called Cutie, but he smiled anyway. "My name would be Mikado, still currently an apprentice, to who I am disallowed to say," Mikado says to Devia.

"You look stronger then some apprentice. You sure your not a expert? Shooting dark lightening everywhere?" Devia asks stepping closer again leaving only a foot or so between them

Mikado kept his smile. "Maybe I am an expert, maybe I'm not, I'm unsure, either way, it seems like the one I'm training under won't let me off on my own until I'm only slightly under his level, so I am stuck as an apprentice anyway.

"Such a shame, listening to someone else when you don't really have to. Must be boring" Devia says

"As boring as it is, I'm wanting to become better, though I'll admit it isn't so experience-giving to track all the time and that's it, but if I know him, he'd come after me if I actually did leave just to ask. He might just even kill me. Now I would rather be alive than leave for my own reasons. I have someone I'm looking forward to fighting in the future, let's say."

"I could help with that" Devia says walking a few steps to a tree. At first when she touchs it nothing happens but then it's color starts changing, turning grey and it's green leaves turning brown and falling off. It starts to wither and it doesn't take long before nothing is left but a pilebof dust. Devia looks back at Mikado. "Lady Death remember, I know all sorts of things normal masters of your kind don't"

Mikado had actually thought about that. "It sounds like an interesting idea, but I need to ask, is there something you are wanting in return? Lady Death or Devia, whichever you prefer," He asks Devia.

"Just some company. My brother ran off with some demon halfbreed so I've been rather lonely." Devia says

"From what you did with your previous company, how am I to be sure you won't do the same?" Misha asked, though he was still calm and smiling.

"I don't kill someone if they're dark enough" Devia says

"I see," Mikado says. “And does that mean I'm dark enough?" He would seem too be sure in expression, but anyone who could sense aura would tell he was not. "It us quite a drag to be under orders all the time rather than doing things of my own accord, so I guess tagging along to get stronger would be cool, learn things my current master cannot teach."

"And I don't care if you kill. Everyone dies eventually anyway so why not enjoy their deaths" Devia says. She didn't meantion that if he didn't kill someone in cold blood he wouldn't be dark enough but corrupting someone was almost as much fun as killing them

Mikado smiled. "I--" Something beeped on Mikado. He picked out the Portable Communicating system he had been using earlier. "Hello?"

"I'm sending you on your next task," the guy says, the lisp cutting through every sound that happened throughout the city. "I want you to go to tracking some others with strong aura."

"Uh- Yes," He says, as the screen went blank faster than he could answer.

"Hmm... looks like my decision of paths has finally came..."
