   Nick Matthew is a young adult who loves to make music, read books or spend time with his Pokémon. He tries to be friendly and polite whenever he can and is mostly seen with a smile on his face. If you are in need and Nick is around, asking him for help rarely results in him declining it - even if there isn't much he can do.
Nick's ears and sense of touch are well-trained since he was unable to use his eyes for a very long time. He is able to see things now, but his eyes still work well below average. When his partner Ralts was around, Nick used to see through the Pokémon's eyes. Despite him being able to see now, he still uses this technique often.
Since he hardly came around in his life yet, Nick finds it difficult to get in touch with other people. That doesn't mean that he has trouble talking to people when they speak to him, but it is hard for him to start a chat without a concrete topic to talk about. Apart from that he also doesn't know how to react to certain situations, sometimes resulting in him not being able to decide what he actually wants.
When he started his journey, Nick decided to carry around two instruments: his horn and a little panpipe for Ralts.

   Battle Style:
   Nick hasn't fought many battles yet, so he hasn't really developed a certain style of battling. However, since Nick and Ralts share a deep emotional connection, Nick hardly needs to shout verbal commands in battles with his partner. Sometimes he even tends to just let Ralts fight without any command at all.

   Past Experience / History:
   Nick Peter Matthew was born in Azalea Town, Johto, as the only child of two Pokémon researchers. His parents used to travel all across the world for their research activities but settled in Azalea Town a few weeks before Nick was born. They had brought a Pokémon egg from their last journey through Hoenn, and it so happened that the egg hatched only two days after Nick's birth.
Due to a genetic defect that wasn't discovered until the birth Nick was born blind and had to live with his disability for almost nineteen years before a scientist found a way to at least partially recover his eyesight. Their son's disability caused Nick's parents to stay in Azalea Town rather than resume their journeys.
The freshly hatched Pokémon, a Ralts, immediately showed interest in Nick and quickly became good friends with him. Even when Nick grew older, Ralts hardly left his side, creating a deep emotional and mental connection between them. Ralts even allowed Nick to see through the Pokémon's eyes every now and then, even though the process was very exhausting for the Psychic-type Pokémon.
Despite his disability, Nick loved to explore the area surrounding Azalea Town. Ilex Forest quickly became his favourite place, and even without seeing too much of the forest Nick quickly got it to know like the back of his hand.
Apart from exploring the forest Nick also discovered a strong love for music. With Ralts helping him see when necessary, he tried to learn everything about music. His parents gladly supported his interest and allowed him to learn several instruments like violin, piano and horn. Even Ralts got Nick's love for music passed on and eventually learned to play the panpipe (more or less).

When Nick was 18, his parents discovered that scientists had found a way to solve the problem that caused Nick's blindness. Even though the surgery was a relatively risky one, both Nick and his parents decided to undergo it - successfully. The surgery couldn't even nearly heal his eyes completely, but for the first time in his life Nick could see something on his own - and for the first time he could see what his beloved partner Pokémon looked like.
After two years of frequent monitoring of his eyes, the doctors allowed him to go his own way. Nick decided to start a journey and see the world - just like his parents.

Eeyup, I noticed^^ But since Nick didn't really train Ralts, I decided to set it a little lower.
I also didn't really find any egg move I'd have liked for Ralts to know, so I just stuck with Hidden Power. (I chose the type randomly, by the way.)
