Mikan!

The Rotom frowned as the opponent struck a glancing blow. The Rollout turns were to reset after they missed - so was it only it, or were they seeming stronger? Shaking off the somewhat sizable and considerable damage, it gave itself a shake before continuing the Uproar, trying to get it over with to get on with better moves.

The electric ghost dodged with some effort, trying to put up a tough front and not display it's weakness which was already bothering it, and released it's final turn of Uproar, Discharging at the same time, glad to be finally free of the restricting move. The result was an arc of dangerous blue electricity radiating in all directions, attempting to hit Clefairy and perhaps paralyze him.

The Rotom frowned, having clearly underestimated it's foe. It side-stepped, looking worried as best as a mechanical plasmodic being could, allowing the Clefairy to roll past while releasing a Discharge at close range, while suddenly erupting into several copies of Rotom, all of them surrounding and following the rolling pink 'Fairy to release orbs of light to interfere with his senses, a combination of Double Team and Confuse Ray.

The Rotom copies sniggered, their previous cockiness back. Yet another copy was mowed down as the Clefairy rolled through it, but the ones at each side wavered slightly. The Fairy was picking up speed and strength, and the small vortexes it was leaving behind was interfering with the illusions. The Rotom's frowned again and released another Discharge, from all sides.

Strangely enough, all the copies, already weakened from the Rollouts, dissipated, leaving only the original to cringe in the face of the oncoming onslaught of fiery vengeance. The flames engulfed it fluidly, effortlessly dropping the Rotom onto the ground, singed and defeated. "Aww! That's okay though! We had fun!" The child with the Swalot said, running up to give Alice her money and bounce away with her sister who had recalled her Rotom.

Several people wandered the vicinity, enjoying the pleasant conditions. None, however, came forward to challenge her like the children. Several gave her a single glance, as though unsure whether to approach for a battle, but deciding apparently otherwise, strode off. Perhaps a healing machine might be found inside.

Soon the young model would pass by a control room of sorts, which had several pieces of intricate and complicated machinery, and the most relevant, a healing machine, indented with six places for slotting in the maximum amount of pokemon to be carried at a time. It looked old and rusty, however, no doubt from the constant exposure to water and significantly, salty sea water, but it should be functional. The room was empty, but had little area to move around as a large portion of the space was taken up by the stuff.

Thankfully the machine was functional, and it was encoded for the use of trainers. Instead of the complicated healers in Centres where only the Nurse could use them, this worked with only the press of a button. The pokeballs lit up lightly, as though surrounded by a small glow before it faded. The pokemon were now fully healed.

Strangely enough, a Munna went hurtling past Alice, narrowly avoiding her and barreling past, preventing a collision. A young girl, about 13 years of age ran after it, calling out in a seemingly distressed tone to 'wait!'. She finally pinned the Dream Eater pokemon by jumping and grabbing her and crashing down to the floor together. "Oww! Oh! I'm sorry you had to see that!" She seemed to speak in exclamations, with the marks liberally peppered everywhere. "I'm sorry! She'd just so full of energy!" She suddenly spotted the pokeballs at her waist. "Oh, cool! Are you a trainer?!" She stood up hopefully. Perhaps the idea she had in mind was that Alice could battle the Munna to tire her down; battle was an excellent way of siphoning of excess energy.

"Me? Oh, no! I could never be a trainer!" The girl laughed, waving her hand in a similar fashion to Alice. The Munna hovered over to float beside the girl's shoulder, inquisitive about the person she was talking to. "How do you do? I'm Flo! And she's Marie!" She stuck out a hand, as though abruptly remembering her manners.

"Oh! My grandma lives there!" She chirruped cheerily. Her Munna picked up on the light mood, and hovered around as though she were prancing. "Muuu!~" "Oh! And also, she keeps some pokemon there! She has the cutest Pichu! And I think she registers one of her pokemon - one of her oldest, a Glaceon, for Pokeathlon and also for battling!" She went on and on.

"Surfing?" Flo tilted her head before jumping and clapping her hands, squealing all the time. "Ooh! I have a pokemon that can Surf! Come see!" Without giving Alice a chance to respond, and perhaps not register, she caught her hand and dragged her out to the deck. "Come on out, Melvin!" She flung a pokeball overboard, before it flew back to her hand, now empty. Whatever she had released was in the water, and soon to be revealed.

'Melvin' didn't take too long in rearing up. 21 feet tall, tipping the scales at 520 pounds, a large blue sea-creature loomed over the boat. It let out a deafening roar before bending to affectionately nuzzle a cheekily grinning Flo. Even Marie seemed happy and familiar around the towering Gyarados.

The Gyarados looked curiously at the girl talking to his trainer. "Well, Melvin is pretty fast for something his size! Would your Slowpoke improve with competition and practice?" Flo suggested, patting Melvin's lower lip. "I mean, he's hardly gone up a level since evolution, but still!" She insisted.
