Cosmo: Hi everyone!

Wanda: Cosmo, what are you doing?! This isn't the way to start a possible DBZ Abridged roleplay!

Cosmo: DBZ Abridged? I thought it was a FOP roleplay!

Wanda: *sighs, annoyed*

Nameik was a calm and peaceful place. Literaly. Nothing, or if the rare chance of something actually happening, was very small, and hardly nothing happened on the small planet in space.

Lord Goru had just sat down on his throne. He was fat but still able to move slightly. He was so bored that he needed someone to talk to or perhaps even push around. But who? Who would do that for him?

Nail, a young Nameikien, was making his way over to where the fat old alien was. No one else bothered to check on him, so he figured he might as well. It was at least something to do on such a boring day as today. Then again, every day was pretty much a boring day.

Lord Goru looked outside, rather bored. He need something...anything...to do. Suddenly, breaking his boredom was a young Nameikien came in the door.

"Who dares disturb Lord Goru?" He yelled, actually glad that he had someone to yell at.

Oh God maybe it was a bad idea, he thought, sweatdropping.

"It's Nail," the younger green alien called.

Lord Goru looked at him as he asked, "And what brings you here, Nail?!"

'I like screaming his name,' Lord Goru thought.

The younger Nameikien walked over and looked up at the much larger and fat old one.

Well, he screamed pretty loud for someone so old.

"To check up on you, Lord Guru, since one else seems to want to," he replied.

"I appreciate your concern," Lord Guru responded, keeping his poker face, "But things around here are boring. Shouldn't you be with your girlfriend or boyfriend? I'm not here to judge!"

Lord Guru smiled a bit but made sure that Nail couldn't see it.

Nail frowned at his once he reovered from the shock of what was just asked. Boyfriend? Girlfriend? He had either for he didn't care to have one at the moment. He shook his head slightly.

"Lord Guru, I don't have a boyfriend, or girlfriend.."

"What a sad life you lead," Lord Guru finally said.

He frowned at that, and shook his head.

"Um,I'm not looking for anyone," he replied.

Lord Guru slightly smiled but not by much.

He responded, "You should be looking for someone. Who knows, the Nameikian of your dreams might be...in your dreams."

Nail sighed once again at this, and shook his head.

"That's not really important at the moment."

"Then what IS important?!" Lord Guru yelled.

Technically, he should know this but at this stage of boredom, he really didn't care.

Well, he really likes to yell, doesn't he? he thought.

"There's lots of things that's more important than finding love, Lord Guru," Nail replied.

Which was true. It wasn't a lie. There were things that were far more important than finding love at this point in time. That could come later, even if things hardly ever happened here anyway. It was better to be safe than sorry for it later after all.

Lord Guru briefly looked outside, pondering Nail's words. (Yeah, he couldn't believe he was doing that either.)

'Are there more important things than finding love to him,' Lord Guru thought.

"Do you have family?"

He didn't know how he got to that question nor did he know why he was interested.

That question to the younger Nameikien by surprise. He was not exspeting a question like that. It was sudden. Very sudden.

"Family?" he echoed.

He did have family, a brother and a sister. Plus his mother and father.

"I do. Why?" Nail asked.

"Family, if you think about it, is like having someone to love," Lord Guru answered, still looking outside. "I have a brother but the guy is a total prick."

'I should send him a cactus for his birthday,' he thought, with a mischievous smirk.

"I suppose you're right about that," Nail said.

He has a brother? Funny, never knew that.

"Who is your brother?" he asked after a moment of silence.

"His name is Slug." Lord Guru answered.

The irony in that name just made he fatter Namekian smile a bit.

"His name is Slug?" Nail asked.

That name was just irony in itself was just there..

"Is there an echo in here?!" Lord Guru yelled.

And the yelling was back again...

Dear God.. he thought with a sigh.

"No, Lord Guru. There isn't."

"Certainly sounded like one!"

Although he knew it wasn't an echo, he rather liked yelling at Nail.
