We Start Strong, and Finish Even Stronger (Open For 1)

After their training had come to an end, the five of them sat for a nice little meal "Alright everyone, dig in!" Steven said, they all ate up and finished soon later, they all got returned back their pokeballs to rest and Steven climb into a tree, he found a comfy area and fell asleep. Morning rang around, he woke up, got up fed everyone then walked down the path, he had to do some training with the lower leveled pokemon to reach around the level as the upper two, he kept on searching until he heard a noise...

Steven and his pokemon had awoken to a early morning, fired up and ready to go! Most importantly they had ate breakfast. Setting out on the days adventure, they were searching for the nearest wild pokemon or trainer they could find. After scavenging the area, and coming up empty handed, a large commotion could be heard ahead in the clearing. A patch of tall grass had began to rustle, indicating a wild pokemon!

On further exploration of the rustling they encountered a wild

"Alright Phantump, get this started with a Confuse ray" Steve says. Phantump shoots out a sinister ray at the target in hopes to confuse the enemy Steven knows if the misses, the Ditto will become an exact copy of Phantump, making it an even greater challenge.

The ray shot at the Ditto in a speedy fashion, the Ditto had already begun to be confused to what the Phantump was doing anyway. But without realizing it, the Ditto had began to question its own motives in this battle, what move it was using, and even where it was. The confuse ray had hit! "D-ditto" it uttered as it tried to sort thing out in his head. Everything jumbled in his head, he seemed to be trying to transform. Somewhere down the road, he forgot how to transform began to hurt itself in the process!

The Ditto had hurt itself due to its confusion!

Steven smiled as the stall worked, there is no way the pokemon could beat him now, the enemy pokemon can and has to be the exact pokemon of Phantump, which would waste some time for it, but the Confuse Ray stalled him even long. Knowing the enemy is technically the same as Phantump, but with lower health and confused, but Steve could have an unlucky battle if any other pokemon dare disturbe. "Alright Phantump, Tackle" the trainer called out, and the ghostly stump flew at the Ditto in attempt ram into the opponent.

The Ditto was still seeing two, as the Phantump began to charge in. He knew had to act quickly. But it was too late as the ghost like stump rammed him, sending him back. The Ditto sat lay on his back, no longer confused. The fall had knocked him back to his senses. Once again too late, he was no longer able to battle! Admitting defeat, he Ditto fainted squealing the call of its species one last time.

Phantump gained 11 exp!

Steven looked puzzled for a moment, it fainted in a hit and a half, 'quick battle' he thought, he returned Phantump back to his pokeball and walked down the path a little longer, awaiting for another pokemon, trainer, or an event. He kept up his walking, looking around for any movement and listens for any sounds.
