|~ Move Editting ~| 1. Please use STR for starting moves, EGG for egg, and L##, T##, H## for other moves 2. Please order moves by either number or level
|~ Historical Fact Editing ~| 1. Most of the time, you won't have to meddle with past history [first 3 episodes of the history] 2. If an edit to the history is needed, please order the episodes by roman numeral, such as V coming before IV [5 before 4] and so on. If you have a question, the best place to put an episode is generally below the others.
|~ Item Editing / Badges ~| When adding items, please put ##x before the name of the item. This makes it easier when seeing how many of a certain item the character has. Also, please make a list downwards instead of using comma separators.

~ General / Physical ~ Aren is not the strongest individual of the bunch. He has a bit of muscle from some of the tasks he has done, but he isn't "buff" in the eyes of multiple people. His hair is of an average length, spanning down fifty percent of his neck and stopping there. His hair is a dark gray, though there are three stripes that seem to be colored like silver. Mixed into the hair are a few strands of blue, giving his hair an interesting glow under the sunlight. His skin seems as though he's been on the beach, though it isn't for that reason that he looks a bit tan.
Aren has three different abnormalites in his appearance. The first is his left eye. The white of his left eye is black, the pupil black as well. The part surrounding the serpentine pupil is red, his other eye a calming sky-blue in contrast to it. The eye doesn't really glow or do much, though people speculate that the eye was just a mutation in his parents' genes.
The second abnormality is Aren's right leg. His right foot is shorter than his left. Three large, silver-colored claws are present, two of which seem to be attached to a band around his leg a bit above his ankle. The band doesn't wrap around his entire leg; there is an opening at the front. His leg, from the knee down, is covered in dark blue scales instead of skin. Centered in the opening of the band, though positioned a bit higher on his leg, there is a small diamond shape in a light-blue color. At the top a line streams to his waist.
The third abnormality is centered on Aren’s torso. There is a bit of strange material attached to his bones (rib-cagge), and it protrudes a bit. Centered in the strange material is a blue-stained gem, and it in the shape of a diamond. The material surrounding it seems shaped like a diamond as well. There are a couple of thin stripes of the material spanning diagonally from the top, though they do not go over his shoulder. There are also two little strips spanning horizontally from the center, though they do not reach his sides. The overall size of the strange material is not larger than a closed fist (or a bit wider than that).
~ Apparel ~ Aren wears slacks that are a dark blue color. The right leg is a bit shorter than the left due to the abnormality of Aren's right leg. The lining of the slacks are hardly visible and lined in black thread. He wears a shirt colored sky-blue, a black button shirt worn over the shirt. The sky-blue shirt's sleeve is a bit longer than the button shirt's, yet the button shirt reaches a bit farther down his waist than the normal shirt.
Two buttons are put together while the others are left unclosed; the first is the button below the highest; and the second is the button directly below the first. The black buttoned shirt has a dark blue design that is bright enough to see but dark enough to fit the base color of the cloth. The design is that of a fire, and the design is present only at the bottom edges of the shirt, as well as at the edges of the sleeves. The collar of the shirt is small, though it holds no designs. The back of the shirt holds a design in the shape of a dragon's head, with fire spreading from its mouth.
Aren wears a ring on his left ring finger. The ring is silver with a band of sapphire in the middle, held onto the ring by small holes drilled through where little poles were attached to the band. The ring holds no significant importance; it is simply a piece of jewelry that Aren wears.
|~ Characterization ~| ~ Personality ~ Aren is a kind heart, though he doesn't like to be fooled. He is a bit untrusting of others, not typically deeming someone dangerous or cruel until he himself witnesses the cruel action or "senses" it on his own. He may stop to give those in distress a hand despite not being trusting, as he doesn't like to see others in distress unless, in some way, it will result better for them to experience it.
He doesn't pick many friends, though those he does have his trust and ear when needed. He likes being logical about a few things, but not a majority of the time. He is not that generous towards strangers, only giving to others when he has spare or doesn't really require what he has anymore. He tries not to lose his temper often, though can be a bit misunderstanding. He doesn't like to work too much unless absolutely necessary.
He becomes confused sometimes when he rests, ending up waking up and spending the entire night (or day) awake for his own reasons. Sometimes he ponders the dream he had, and other times will work to distract himself, though it depends upon the dream. Sometimes he wakes up because he has no dream at all, and in some way it terrifies him.
Aren is a big fan of lizards and serpents; as such, he likes the dragon type the most of any. This is because of his past involving the observation of gym battles. He prefers dragon type Pokémon over any other, no matter which Pokémon it is. He typically will take in another Pokémon if no one else will, though this instance is kinda rare. Oddly he may act a bit ruder towards someone when around dragon Pokémon, and seems to hold a bit more strength and confidence around them.
~ Battle Style ~ Aren attempts to use very minimal logic. He likes moves involving more power instead of effect. His battle strategy may change per battle, however.

|~ Historical Archive ~|
”PT 01 ~ The Beginning”:
Aren was born to an aura trainer mother and a normal father. Having been expected to inherit his mother's ability, disappointment showed on their faces when they discovered otherwise soon after he was born. It seemed that her abilities were going to skip his generation, and despite their disappointment, his parents eventually moved on from the dilemma.
In Aren's early years, his life was a typical one; he had a few friends for his age, and sometimes he lost them when they moved away or found others to talk to. He was allowed to play outside and do what he wanted; he even got to see plenty of Pokémon. Sometimes he was permitted in the Pokémon gym of his hometown, watching Pokémon battles that were hosted there. He found fascination particularly in Pokémon that were either dragons or similar to serpents, wondering how they lived in nature and behaved around humans.
It was when he turned the age of ten that his parents introduced him to the legends of Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. After being explained the legend and who the Pokémon were, he couldn't help but find himself beginning to dream about them. In particular he dreamed of Dialga, imagining the mighty beast from an image he was shown by his parents.
In the beginning, the dreams weren't exactly real; he talked to the Pokémon and asked about it, learning solely the same things that his parents had told him; however, later on, the legendary connected to the special child, telling the boy of truths and lies commonly spread about the Pokémon. He was even told where the Pokémon existed. The dreams and communication with the legendary excited Aren; it made him happy to have a friend that seemed to never leave or shift viewpoints on anything. Dialga was always there when he slept, even when his parents had to leave home and work or his friends were never available. The occurrences were many and often. It only seemed to make their connection stronger, though Aren couldn't hide his excitement forever. When he was thirteen, his parents finally approached him; what could be making their son seem so happy to want to be alone where he had previously been so upset and spiteful about their absence. That was when he told them of the dreams and discussions.
Even though his parents found the discussions a true oddity, they didn't completely believe him. Their evidence presented was that Aren was an over-imaginative child alongside the fact that he could only talk to the legendary when he slept. Feeling hurt by his parents' reactions, he went to his friends and asked; however, the result was the same. A few even called him a nutcase, laughing at him for thinking a legendary would talk to him.
The buildup of frustration and pain from no one believing him led Aren to seclude himself from his friends, effectively telling them they weren't bound to him in any way, shape, or form anymore. He even spent some time away from his parents when they were home. Feeling as though the problem was their fault and where they lived, Aren's parents thought and eventually decided to move to the Sinnoh region. When presented with the inevitable, Aren argued and pitched a fit; what of the gym he liked? What of the home that he had spent thirteen years of his life in!?
After they moved, Aren could only find consolation and trust in the legendary Pokémon in his dreams; it was then the Pokémon believed they should meet. After all, he had moved to its native region, and it wouldn't hurt to meet face-to-face instead of by sleep. Telling Aren of a lakeside nearby his new home, the Pokémon told him to be there. During the midnight of the first day after their moving, Aren waited for his parents to fall asleep. It was after they had he snuck out of the house.
He was going to prove to his parents the Pokémon was real in some shape or form, and he was going to make them see that he was connected with the Pokémon in no way another could be. He followed the small and hidden route to the lakeside, finding Dialga had held to its word and met him there. The two talked and joked together, Aren knowing without a doubt the legendary was real. He even got to touch the Pokémon's diamond embedded in its torso... What else did he need to know it was real?
The meetings with his friend were always held during the night, Aren partially fighting with himself; would it all go away if he told his mother and father? He spoke with Dialga about it, and after two years (making him fifteen) of their meetings, Dialga agreed to meet his family and see the ones that had caused its friend so much distraught. This decision was made the day before his sixteenth birthday, and when Aren turned to leave at the usual time that night, he found himself stopped.
When he turned, he could see Dialga forming something, and he held his hand out when prompted. For his birthday, the Pokémon had given him a wristband made of a strange material it didn't disclose to him. It even had a small portion where it wasn't connected like the ones around Dialga's own legs. Aren was grateful, hugging the Pokémon's neck while he put it onto his right arm, and at the time it seemed like a simple birthday present full of value. He then left for home, ready for the Pokémon to meet his parents on the day of his sixteenth birthday.
At the start of the day he had the wristband hidden under one of his jacket sleeves, his parents recognizing that he was wearing an unusual outfit. After the small party they held for him, seeing as how he had barely any friends in their new hometown, he presented the bracelet after sliding the sleeve up. It still didn't seem to be enough to convince his parents, and in frustration revealed quickly that they were going to meet the Pokémon that night.
”PT 02 ~ Meeting a Legend, Oddities”:
His parents felt it pointless to follow him towards the lakeside, but if it helped to prove once and for all that their child wasn't seeing what he thought, they would; as such, they let him lead them through the darkened forest surrounding the lakeside, and eventually they came to the point where they could see the large, blue Pokémon staring at them. They were fearful when it posed questions to them, the situation becoming high in regards to tension.
Aren was atop the Pokémon's back while the Pokémon and his parents seemed to argue, him throwing his own comments in about how he hadn't wanted to move and that they hadn't believed him. In the end, it resulted in everyone being angry, with Dialga the only one on Aren's side. The Pokémon had to agree with him his parents were misunderstanding of him and that they had really only managed to hurt him. When demanded to come down from the Pokémon's back, Aren refused. He had to be pried off by his father, who held his arm tightly and with anger. He was covered in tears when they started dragging him away.
He could see Dialga staring angrily at his parents, promising Aren they'd meet again and that they'd stick together permanently upon their next meeting. As if making a sign of its promise, Aren's left eye changed as he was dragged home, his parents furious. His father wasn't exactly gentle about things when they got home, Aren being tossed to the sofa while his parents stood in front of him. They scolded him, sending him to his room shortly afterwards. While they pondered a solution to their problem, Aren stared at the wristband and found his eye was different, which his parents had seen and gained more fury over.
He looked to the door of his room when it opened soon after he had been sent up, his mother there. It wasn't much longer before she took her aura and sealed his memories of Dialga and meeting the Pokémon; even further, she sealed his dreams of the Pokémon down with the memories, the legendary watching through Aren's eye. It was angered further by his parents' rash decision, deciding that it was going to need to give him incentive to leave when he could at the right age.
As such, Aren began showing abnormalities shortly after the incident; with no recollection, he wasn't able to really recognize the differences at first, nor understand where they were coming from, but his parents could. They hoped that the seal would hold up and that he would continue to ignore the differences, especially since they could easily snap his seal open and release his memories and dreams... Until it seemed a curve-ball was tossed their way. Aren woke up on his seventeenth birthday to find the wristband missing. It was odd, and after searching around, he found himself in front of his mirror.
He then recognized a clear difference in his right foot; now it was a noticeable length shorter than his left, and there were three large, silver claws where his five toes had been. Even worse, his leg below the knee was covered in what could be deemed blue scales. The wristband was clearly around his leg a bit above his ankle, and the outer claws were attached to it. A bit in the opening was a small diamond colored a bright blue (aqua), and it connected to a thin line that spread up his leg to his waist.
When he presented it to his parents, they refused to tell him about it. The abnormal leg simply tightened their restrictions for him, and Aren was "locked" in the house to prevent others from seeing what had happened. He had to stop wearing footwear on his feet since his changed foot couldn't really fit into anything anymore, and it didn't really matter anyway; he was stuck inside, unable to communicate with anyone, which had pretty much been the usual since he had been sixteen.
He was unaware the legendary had witnessed his parents' reaction through his changed eye, and it was even furthered in resolve to have Aren leave. Shortly after the lower half of his leg had turned abnormal, he woke up to find another, larger-scaled oddity. Aren's torso had silver-colored material layered a bit over it. Aligned over his heart (center of torso, a bit of distance below the shoulders) was an embedded gem, it stained a strange blue.
Upon trying to remove the abnormality, as well as attempting to remove the band around his leg, he only caused himself pain; they were attached to him and his bones, and if he tried too much it would feel like fire was burning around the abnormalities. He had been tossed two abnormalities that were defining characteristics of the legendary he had been forced to forget, and after researching, he approached his parents. They were steadfast in keeping their secret from him, telling him to leave it be and that it wasn’t real. This only intrigued him further...
”PT 03 ~ Break Away”:
They (parents) had Aren continuously cover the abnormality of his torso with a shirt. It wasn’t huge, so his parents figured it wasn’t that noticable, especially when covered. The abnormalities in appearance stopped there, though upon his eighteenth birthday nine months later, Aren found himself dreaming of Dialga. The Pokémon was a silhouette, a shadow though it repeated the promise. He could hear it tell him he had to leave and find it again. The dream made Aren's resolve concrete.
Upon turning nineteen, Aren demanded to be allowed to leave; his parents had been isolating him for three years, and he had to discover the reasons behind his abnormal appearance and dream. His parents tried to fight, though they lost ultimately. Aren was nineteen, and he was capable of training Pokémon. In addition to it all he knew that it was all real, and not just his mind. They gave him the mandatory amount of money a traveller would start with, as well as a few pokeballs... They also gave him a last warning; if he left, he couldn't come home again. It was an unfair punishment, especially after what they had done, but Aren ignored them and stepped outside.
His first steps of freedom were ones spent with a blank mind; he was finding it hard to believe that after multiple years of being locked up (remember, he doesn’t remember Dialga), he was able to go free... He had felt a few times before that it wouldn’t be so easy to break free of his parents, but there he was, standing under the sunlight. It wasn’t as easy as he had believed though... His parents, both in fury and concern, called an old friend of theirs; he had been a scientist, and was particularly intrigued by legendaries and their communication with humans past. They told him of their child and what had occurred, and it seemed to intrigue him.
While the researcher collected a small group of others to attempt capturing Aren, the boy encountered his first trainer. When challenged to a battle, he had to face the embarrassment of saying he didn’t have a Pokémon. When explained how to capture one, Aren requested the stranger’s help in finding one; this led him to capturing his first Pokémon, gible. Aren felt a particular strength from the Pokémon, and after he thanked the trainer for their help, he watched the person go. He was once again alone exempt his Pokémon companion, though he still didn’t feel comfortable leaving his new home yet...
He travelled to the lakeside that he had once seen Dialga at... Of course, it had been so long, the Pokémon wasn’t there to see him itself. Feeling strange at the lakeside, Aren became distracted. He heard a Pokémon in distress, finding a dratini being hurt by its fellow Pokémon (who were also dratini). Disapproving of what the others were doing, Aren snatched the serpent up and ran off, a chase ensuing before Aren got away. He made a fast friend of the Pokémon, who accepted his offer to travel together.
Now with two Pokémon, Aren felt comfortable leaving his hometown. The while he had been chased, he had thought to himself; he also referenced his past that he could remember. He had liked dragon type Pokémon, and he still did; he figured that he would try to be a gym leader, perhaps even an elite four member like he used to watch on a daily basis. Making himself a secondary goal along his journey ahead, he left the lake after giving it a last look. Unaware why it made him feel so strange still, he headed to the exit of his new hometown. Giving it a last look and feeling spite about the place, he turned and headed off with dratini around his shoulder and gible in its pokeball.
He was starting a journey anew, unaware of what his parents had done or what he would find; his last thought as he left off was of the silhouette of his past friend he couldn’t remember.

|~ Current Inventory ~| Items: 05x Pokeballs
Key Items (Plot): 1x Steel Wristband f/ Dialga This wristband was a birthday gift to Aren from Dialga. Of course, the band attached to his leg later on in his history, and is part of the reason his foot and leg changed. The band is literally attached to his body, as well as two extremities. It is a silver color, just like Dialga’s, and though unknown to Aren, it is made of pure steel (perhaps from Dialga itself).
1x Silver and Sapphire Band This ring is a special little ring that Aren found (not stated in history). It is a part of his typical attire, and he finds a special connection to it since it is a thick band of sapphire surrounded by metal colored silver. The ring serves no historical purpose, nor is it worth much of any value.

Personality: Dratini is trusting of her trainer. Dratini likes peace and quiet, and will put up a fight when that is disturbed. Dratini doesn’t really like pokeballs, and as such, is typically outside of one. She finds favor in being around an arm or shoulder.
