Pidgeotto was struck, but due to the typing of it all, it managed to escape serious injury. It's wing was nicked, but it managed to stay aloft the wind currents entering and passing through the gym. It flapped hard, throwing up Mud Slaps and Gusts.

Vladimir had to do something very quick. He just has to save Hitmonlee's ass immediately as both moves struck. "Buddy, charge your Mega Kick, then transition it to Double Kick." Hitmonlee understood the move. His foot glowed blue as he prepared his Mega Kick, and he kicked not once, but twice.

The two kicks connected with Pidgeotto's abdomen and it collapsed. Perhaps it was the little Attack boost from Meditate that was required to win. Falkner sighed and recalled his bird.
