Personality: Alex is a flashy person who loves to meet new people. He is hard to understand at times due to his severe past. He often is jealous of certain females for being with a guy he thinks is cute. He often comes off as overly clingy at first but this is inaccurate. Due to his past abuse he often feels that people will leave him if they know about what happened to him when he still lived at home. He still often has a slight fear of men despite his homosexuality.

History: Alex Kamelot was the son of Alice Kamelot, a prostitute who frequented the Kalos region. Upon his birth Alex's mother mysteriously experienced a massive placental hemorrhage resulting in her quick but painless death. The doctors were baffled by such an event because the mother had been stable when they delivered the boy. All that was left of Alice Kamelot was a strange umbrella that she entered with. The umbrella would be one of Alex's most cherished possessions throughout his life.

After he was old enough Alex was placed in foster homes and was bounced around, each home being worse than the last. He was always a quiet child as a baby he rarely cried and when he did he was struck for causing "too much noise" or "giving his 'parents' a headache". Finally Alex ended up in a foster home with a single dad who was known as Blake Reese. Mr. Reese had specially requested a "problem child". Alex was given to Blake and left alone.

It was unfortunate that the children's services leave Alex with Mr. Reese because he was a monster. From the age of five Alex was beaten and left alone for days at a time. When the social worker came to check on him she noted that everything seemed to be in perfect condition and Mr. Reese was a model foster parent. Finally at the age of seven Blake Reese adopted Alex and doomed any chances he had at receiving a happy and normal childhood. Mr. Reese, a researcher at an pokemon archaeological institute, often left Alex to fend for himself when it came to the necessities for life.

At the age of ten Blake began to notice the way Alex's body was maturing. One night Blake stole into his room and woke him up by touching his leg in a sensuous manor. He complimented Alex at first and tried to begin to have his way with him. Then when Alex resisted he began the beatings and verbal onslaught until his submission was all that he could do. After several attempts Blake had given up. When Blake brought friends over he was expected to smile and act like he was truly happy. It killed Alex to do it but he would put on a smile and make everything seem like it was perfect.

After many years of abuse Alex began to devise his plan. Often Blake would come home intoxicated and leave the window to his room unlocked. It was rare but he would also leave his office unlocked when he went to work. He often broke in and played with a young female Espurr that Blake kept there which belonged to his former son who had died. Espurr seemed to encourage him to run away from the place. A few days later an elderly woman came to visit and spoke to Alex. She told him of awful things that he did to his former foster son. And that after he was done with the poor boy he simply disappeared. When Alex inquired as to why the pokemon had desired him to run away so badly the woman warned that he would share the former son's fate if he did not leave the house and escape.

After the story the old woman had told him, Alex decided that he would finally put his plan into action. One night weeks later Blake had come home drunk and had forgotten to lock Alex's window. In a three story house there was no way for him to get out by himself. But if he had help then he could accomplish the feat. Alex crept into the kitchen that night and got his usual lock picking tools from the third drawer on the left bottom row. The mahogany drawers seemed to be against him as he opened them and they creaked. After he had retrieved his tools he picked the lock to the office. He grabbed the second pokeball on the top shelf hidden by a picture of Blake on a company retreat he had taken three years prior. Alex also dug into the wide oak desk and scrounged enough money to supply him for a while. With that Alex tiptoed back to his room. Once safely into the confines of his room he released Espurr from her pokeball. The noise of Espurr's release had been louder than Alex had anticipated. Apparently Blake had awakened, sober now, and charged into his room. Alex panicked slightly but was saved by Espurr who knocked the window to his room out with her magnificent psychic power and urged Alex to the window. Blake, who was slightly stunned by the unfolding events, let out a deafening roar and ran toward them. With Alex safely in the grasp of her psychic power Espurr levitated from the window and took flight. In the distance screams of outrage could be heard from Blake, neither Alex or Espurr ever looked back. Soon they landed and decided a plan, Alex decided that he would become a pokemon trainer. Espurr who had grown fond of the boy decided to join her party and they set off into the great unknown.
