Personality: Lance burnwood is a trainer who is very brave and strong willed. He takes on any trainer with his team. He is brave, always getting into trouble wherever he goes. He is the type that doesn't care about anything. Although deep down, he has feelings for Pokemon, he just doesn't want to show it. He has feelings for people also, but he likes being mean. He has toughened up his pokemon, never letting them have a break. He has been mean to defend himself in case of emergencies. His pokemon get overworked so that he can win any battle.

History: Lance was born in the city, with a brother. He always wrestled with his brother, saying that it would toughen him up. He always came home with scratches and bruises all over him. One day he saw a cottonee and knew they were meant to be. It was a very rough childhood, which is why he acts like he does. He has never actually liked someone, including his family. His friends have abandoned him, and he has always been alone, except for cottonee.
When he was younger, everyone would pick on him because of his scratches. They would tease him saying, "bear hugger," and stuf like that. He found his cottonee along the path of route 4, where the cottonee saved his life. The cottonee found him getting attacked by a piplup, and chased the piplup away. His friends never liked him because he could easily overpower them. That made it hard to make friends when he was younger. now, he lives alone with his cottonee.
