Rei's hair is a rich dark brown, She brushes it out in the morning and lets it fall where it wants to. part of her bangs sweep in front of her left eye concealing parts of it from view. Her eyes are a mystic violet and her skin is rather pale giving her a touch of the strange creepy girl look.

Rei is often mistaken as a quiet secluded girl for she is usually by herself, straying away from massive crowds and gatherings.Then again, there is more to a book than the cover. She is quite a devoted and loyal girl who will do whatever she can to help a friend or get a task done. Rei has a tough time backing away from a challenge. At times she can have a bad temper and even be stubborn to the core. Truly Rei is a bit of a paranoid girl, She tends to think of the absolute worst thing that could happen thanks to a bad habit of thinking ahead. She is afraid of being alone, small spaces, and water? Giving birth to this phobia: Rei had a bit of a bad childhood experience. She nearly drowned after being knocked off the pier by a rampaging gyarados. This caused made her afraid of getting to close to the water,fearing she will get herself in the same predicament again.
History:
Rei was born and Raised in Unova. Rei's Father left her mother when he found out that they were going to have a child. Rei knew little about her father. She never even met him, for her mother only told her about him to a certain extent:"Not all people are good, Rei." Her mother was a pokemon professor at one point, Professor Saar. She spent her days learning all that she could about ghost and dark type pokemon even allowing Rei to help out during a few occasions. As Rei grew older she began to feel like her mothers protege, Assisting her and going to all sorts of places to help in her mother's research. That all went downhill one day. Professor Saar suddenly began to suffer from insomnia causing her a severe loss of energy. Day by day she grew more and more weak and her heart beat slowed little by little. She knew that she wouldn't last much longer. So Rei's mother began to give up any hope of getting well. She insisted that Rei would continue her research in her place as she forfeited her journals and even her beloved pokemon,Spirit, to her daughter. Later that very night Rei lost her mother to the sudden illness. Professor Saar never got to learn as much as she wanted about dark and ghost pokemon. Rei decided it was best to fulfill her mother's ambition for her from that point onward she would do everything she could to learn everything about ghost and dark pokemon.
