Pokemon: Shadows in the Clockwork

Welcome, adventurer, to the continent of Crias! A place of magic and wonder, and most prominently, the strange, remarkable creatures known as Pokemon!

In Crias, adventure awaits you and your friends! On that note, do feel free to invite them all! Crias is a continent separated into four major countries: Ydari, Otverstein, Savrii and Terra'Noir! Each country is different from the next, and hold strange and interesting areas. Otverstein is a place of technology, riven by war and chaos. A place where destruction reigned for a long time, but no longer! After many revolutions and civil wars, the Council has asserted itself, and a powerful Steward now leads the nation! Ydari, a country as ancient as the continent itself. Once led from the great magical city with the same name, ruin came to them, but the people persevered! Now, Old Ydari is overgrown, a King rules from Samith, and New Ydari has become a sprawling center of culture! Terra'Noir is the youngest of the three, and perhaps the most mysterious. Ruled by a council of Lords from the city of Terra'noir, many dark and strange things happen in this country of innovation... Across the sea lies the desert island of Savrii... Who knows what kind of secrets those dunes obscure?

Now, a bit more seriously. I, Vaz , wish you welcome to Pokemon: Shadows in the Clockwork. This is a steampunk/medieval fantasy-themed Pokemon Roleplay site, started by Jolteon, Momo, and myself. The RP here is modded - this means that you post, and a moderator takes you by the hand and shows you the world, writing a story for, and more importantly, with you as you go. In the end, roleplaying is entirely about fun, and this site is no exception. However, if you have come here to powerplay, I would suggest you turn back now. The fun in PSC is the adventure, the story you help unfold where you change the world in your own little way. If you try to powerplay, you will find that moderators react quite negatively to that, pitching you against near-impossible odds for trying to break the site. We wouldn't want that, would we? Another thing is people come here looking to balance everything out. PSC is not about power, and not about balance. Your moderator will match the story to your strength - if you make a stronger character, you will simply face worse odds.

Now, there are three kinds of characters you can roleplay as on this site. Those are Pokemon, Humans, and Pokemorphs. There are large differences between the three, and each is a fairly unique experience! Of course, anything is possible in the world of PSC. Anyone can gain an extra class, or moves they cannot naturally learn, or some other strange things!
