Battle Style: Craig always prefers his pokemon to be on the up close and personal side. However, when a pokemon does specialise in long range combat, he uses a hit and run tactic. He tries to teach his pokemon each a different battle style, all of which are forms of traditional martial arts. (I will specify which form of kung fu the pokemon is using.)

Looks: Craig is a tall and muscular man, having trained in martial arts all of his life. Despite his age, he is still strong and powerful, and shows above average levels of endurance. His hair is a dark brown color, and is slightly longer at the back, reaching just past his ears. His eyes are a deep green colour. He has sideburns and a shaggy beard, both the same dark brown colour as his hair.

Most of the time Craig is dressed in a white gi, with his red belt tied around his waist. His red belt signifies him as a master of kung fu. He has a big black bag where he keeps all of his items including his pokeballs, although he enjoys running and training with his pokemon most of the time. While his arms are not bulging with muscles, he is very clearly muscular throughout his body. Craig's legs have many bruises and scars from training. His knuckles are also scared from many calluses gained from training.

Personality: Craig is a very loud man, often shouting at the top of his voice. Despite this, he is rather jolly, not shouting out of anger but out of excitement. He loves to laugh and make jokes, finding humor in many things. Despite his generally good nature, Craig has no difficulty being serious when the time comes, and is a very hard trainer. He believes that you should never go halfway, whether its in a fight or while training. Craig also believes that you should do whatever it takes to protect yourself, no matter how brutal the outcome.Craig dislikes people who do not put in the necessary time to train, whether its with their martial arts or with their pokemon.

History: Craig was born in Violet city, in the Johto Region. His family was a regular middle class family, with a average home and enough money to live. Ever since he was a kid, Craig had an interest in martial arts, and so at the age of seven joined a kung fu class in Violet City. He progressed slowly over the years, and because he was distracted by martial arts, never took the time to start training pokemon. At the age of 20 he moved to Cyllage City in Kalos to start teaching Kung Fu.

Over the next eighteen years, Craig spent much of his time training, teaching or competing in Martial arts tournaments. He had started a class in Cyllage City that was popular, and taught many students. On his Thirty-eighth birthday, however he was gifted a Mienfoo by a former student of his. A year later, after having trained his pokemon in Drunken Fist he decided to set out on a journey to gain the gym badges of Kalos, leaving his best friend in charge of the dojo.
