Battle Style: Lucian fights in the same fashion of a the card game he deals, he train his pokemons to follow one of this 3 battle styles:

The Poker Style: Close and Personal, focusing in provoking the opponent to fight and make mistakes, it focus mostly in physical moves and few defensive/buffing/provocative and opportunity moves, signature move of this kind Style are Taunt, Torment and Snatch

The Solitary Style: it give very, VERY few options to your opponent to perform an attack, like the solitary vegas style, focusing in using trapping/disabling/debuffing/ in general he annoy his opponents with any possible trick under the sleeve to finish it with Special attacks.

The Black Jack Style: Like black Jack your opponent doesn’t know what to expect, he only see one half of the pokemon, this style focus in using unexpected moves for a kind of pokemon, example a machop using light screen or flamethrower or  a chikorita using counter, they use supportive moves for his team mates and there attacks can go from from physicial to specials



Personality: Lucian is quite a gentleman, he acts polite towards anyone, even in battle he keep his cool most of the time, he is hard to pissoff, but if you get there he turn into a malicious and merciless person

History: Since always Lucian has two passion cards and pokemons, and the fact he born In city a with casino and pokemon gym feed both equally his passion, raised in Celadon City Lucian spend most or in the casino, practicing and learning his favorite casino card games, he even teach some of his family and friend pokemons to, it was funny and kind perturbing seen a “pokemon battle”  of poker.
Lucian, he knew he need pick a path on his live, the path of the trainer or the Dealer, a hard choice to him but in the end he chose the path of the dealer, and became the younger dealer ever in the history, getting his professional license at the age of twelve and start to work in the celadon city casino.

One day a man comes to his table and ask him to play, a foul move from him, he try to scam the casino because he thought a youngster as dealer would be easy to beat, instead Lucian not only unmask him, but humiliate him defeating him in every possible game even after the man try to escape Lucian use the pokemon than his father give him to stop him, and Sandile know has Fangs, because of this incident he was named has the Sand Gambler.

10 years has pass from that incident and his reputation grow has both, dealer and gambler, but there was something missing on his life, he enjoy the casino life but still Lucian felt hollow, until the day he saw a that man in the television, the legendary gambler knows has Grimsley, a member of the Elite four of Unova Region, that was what he was missing, the eximent of the travel, he toke one path when he could easly toke both, like that man, Lucian determined put away his live in the casino to start a new one, has a trainer and challenge Grimsley in equal grounds,  a gambler member of the elite four of Kanto!
