::The haunted haunting the haunters

A figure entirely covered in dark robes was standing in front of the pokecenter. He threw a blue orb on the roof that would explode in exactly 3 minutes. He then walked away, into the city. He threw of the black robes and Xene apeared. He stole a appel as he walked by, and jumped on a roof with a good view over the pokecenter. in the chaos, he would try to steal a good pokemon from the people there.

Brooklyn could've sworn she heard something hit the ceiling. She looked up with a curious face then shrugged. Probably just a pipe expanding or something. As she waited for Jager she looked down the corridor. Through the window she saw someone on a roof. It looked just like that guy from the day before. She then realized it probably would be him. She shrugged again and looked back to the door.

Xene looked on his watch. "Few more minutes..."

"Exactly 30 seconds." Xene was counting down. He had two jobs to do when the thing would go boom: Save the girl, and maybe the boy if he was in the mood for it. And he would have to steal a maximum of the strongest pokemon while he was there

Halfway the pokecenter he stopped. "Shes not worth it." And he walked away.

"Are you ready yet? If you are then lets go!" cried Brooklyn eager to get away. But then she got a weird feeling like something bad was going to happen. Like how an Absol might feel when they predict the future. She didn't believe in the supernatural that much though, so it never made her scared or worried.

"Yeah, did you?" she said taking a step inside. She was a little surprised at the tidiness of the room. She sat on the bed and kicked her legs about. She looked at her nails then up at the ceiling, the outside the window, then down at the floor. She pushed her hair in front of her chest and combed through it with her fingers.

"Sure," she said walking out of the Pokecenter. She had completely forgot about that feeling of danger. "I think they do food at the contest hall, you can get food while I sign to enter the contest," she said.

"Thanks. I have five but I was hoping to get my final one here in Lavender, or at least in Kanto somewhere. I'm not sure what I want though. I guess I'll just see what pops up at me and catch it or look again,"

"Sort of... I guess," she said trying to cover up the fact that she completely forgot about training or even practicing for her contest. She forced and awkward smile, "So where do you come from? Personally I'm from Sinnoh, and all of my Pokemon are too."
