Peaceful and one with nature using the natural flow of the universe in his moves in an attempt to bring peace to his opponents and their pokemon. He works with his pokemon as, though they were one and would never push them beyond their natural limits.

.::Personality::.
Anzan is a Buddhist and works with nature in harmony and tranquility. He doesn't always agree with fighting but, will fight only when necessary. He lives by the popular motto that "The pen is mightier than the sword" and will usually try to speak his mind without hurting anybodies feelings. Anzan works as one with his pokemon and always tries to help people whenever possible and will usually work to heal the land whilst on his journey of enlightenment.

Anzan is kind and caring and will always help people in need whether they are friend or foe although, due to the way in which he acts; he doesn't have many foes. Anzan will never push a pokemon beyond it's limits and if need be he will use his actions to prove himself worthy to pokemon in order to enlist their aid if he needs it. Anzan will rise to any challenges set for him and will never give up on tasks, people or pokemon no matter what happens.

.::History::.
Anzan grew up on Chrysanthemum Island with his parents Antoine and Layla Rose on a farm in the north eastern quadrant of the island. This may be how his natural strength and inner peace grew to provide him with his brilliant mind and sense of right and wrong. Anzan always helped to tend the crops and when he did, strangely they grew larger and stronger than the others grown by his parents. Anzan was well known through the island as, Peaceful Mountain which is his zen name. He would travel island performing various duties to assist his fellow islanders in their lives.

One day Anzan was meditating on top of the barn when he sensed the presence of another this other person being a Meditite who only wished to join Anzan in his morning meditation but, through this Anzan and the Meditite formed a bond which could not ever be broken and they became friends henceforth, Meditite was known as, Chowan.

A few months later in his life, he was traveling through a forest on his way into the main island and spotted a Chansey, healing wild pokemon in a forest when they were unable to heal themselves thanks to rather substantial injuries being dealt to them by a mystery trainer in the forest known only as, Specter by the forest pokemon. This being why Anzan caught Chansey due to her selflessness and kindness naming Chansey, Hakue. With Chansey at his side he found and battled with Specter only to protect the forest pokemon and defeated Specter's Galvantula to send Specter packing. Though Specter still, follows Anzan sometimes to try and defeat him in a rematch although it's usually unsuccessful with Anzan having won all of their battles.

A week before, Anzan was due to go on his journey of enlightenment throughout, Kanto and challenging both the league and the occasional contest. He found a Magnemite flying around his farm searching for something or someone. When Anzan discovered Magnemite he decided to help search only to find a Sableye trying to steal from them but, thankfully Anzan and Magnemite teamed up to drive Sableye away however, weeks later Sableye came back and Anzan managed to convince Sableye to instead become a harvester for the family whilst, Anzan was away. Anzan also, convincing Magnemite to join him on his journey to act as, the team's fortress and shield. Known to all who knows it as, Daigai.

Following this Anzan packed the bare necessities and set off with his team on their journey throughout the Kanto region traveling to the Pallet Town to start his journey and follow in the footsteps of many a trainer before him.

Whilst, on his way to Pallet Town he found a lone Charmander playing in a forest or so, he thought and he loved it when he could see that sort thing happening in the world with pokemon. This is what first attracted Anzan to Charmander as, Charmander noticed that Anzan was watching and challenging Anzan to a battle to gauge his skills, Anzan wasn't usually one to battle but, he could sense the spirit that Charmander had and decided to agree to it so, that he would be in with a chance of catching it to be the fourth addition to his team.

Following the battle which Anzan won alongside Chowan, Charmander decided to join Anzan in an attempt to get stronger and to have fun doing it. Anzan naming Charmander "Eika" which translates as, Eternal Fire believed to be a fitting name for his new companion.

After many a battle along the way to Pallet Town; Eika evolved into a powerful Charmeleon but, it didn't end there as, the journey to Pallet Town was bound to take a while from Chrysanthemum Island and Anzan kept up his end of a mutual agreement between him and Eika in training everyday and finally whilst, on the road to Pallet Town; Eika evolved again into an almighty Charizard to repay Anzan for his time and patience, continuing on their journey and working together to improve and work their way through the Kanto Region and allow Anzan to truly find himself.

Eventually, Anzan arriving at Pallet Town and their adventure beginning from there...
