Battle Style: Kohaku doesn't have a real battle style because she has never battled before. She just enjoys studying pokemon in actuality. Her constant travel gets lonely sometimes, which is the only reason she caught a pokemon in the first place. It is strong, however, which she isn't fully aware of. If somebody asked her of her battle style she would most likely tell them her style is refined and unique, and she wouldn't dare reveal that to anyone.

Personality: Having cared for and raised numerous pokemon over the years at her family's daycare center, Kohaku is a perfect motherly figure and is loved by pokemon and people alike. She is very kind, caring, polite and pacifistic, being mostly harmless and the only pokemon breeder known in her town to not get her own pokemon until she was seventeen. Because of her hands-on experience with pokemon growing up, she is very intelligent, also graduating top of her class. She has little to no interest in battling or becoming the world champion though. It is implied that Kohaku's one reason to possibly become the pokemon champion is to make the world a better place for children so they would not have to worry about things. She loves children in general, showing concern for those not in her care.

History: Kohaku had a simple childhood. She grew up in a loving and supporting family whom was also rather wealthy. Her grandfather founded a daycare center which became the family business for years to come. This daycare was unique only because it babysat pokemon and young children. Kohaku began working at the daycare when she was only seven. It was key in developing her personality as she grew up. When she hit the ripe age of twelve, instead of leaving for her journey as a pokemon trainer or whatever twelve year olds do, she stayed at home to take care of the center. It wasn't until she met the disabled Poochyena that she felt the need to leave. She met this Poochyena, which is now her own and travels with her, in a forest by a lake nearby the center. It was hoping to drown itself, sad with its inability to grow or evolve. This Poochyena hasn't grown much since birth, if not at all, according to doctor's analysis. Kohaku was inspired by its determination after she saved it, however, and gave it a new reason to live when it became hers. Now, the Poochyena proudly rides around on her head or in her arms, spending minimal time in his pokeball. He gained the name Daisu later by Kohaku, because she thought it sounded cute and smart.
