Chapter 3: A Town Away

Bruce quickly takes a Pokeball out and withdraws Treecko. The Confusion almost ended Treecko, but a shining red laser from the Pokeball served as his savior. "YES! That was almost the defeat of Treecko! At least he gets some EXP from that! Squirtle, back him up!"

Squirtle is sent out! "Bubble."

Squirtle blows multiple clear bubbles from its mouth at the opponent. Squirtle used Bubble!

The Girafarig Stomped them all as it charged up at Squirtle, raising a leg for a strong Stomp.

Squirtle runs towards the Girafarig on all fours and then quickly "hit the ground" and tucked his body parts inside his shell causing him to slide on the ground as a shell towards the Girafarig on an attempt to trip the bigger foe.

Girafarig stumbled but quickly regained it's composure and tried to land one hard Stomp on the shell.

Squirtle's hard shell is stomped and they don't have that hard of a shell yet so he pretty felt that one. "Smart! I'm starting to doubt if Squirtle really is a wild... Maybe he escaped from a Pokemon Trainer or something... Ice Punch!"

Squirtle tucks his body parts out as he quickly leaped for the attack, thrown like an uppercut straight to the head of the foe!

Girafarig was hit in the chin as it trotted back and used Confusion, though it itself was weakening.

Squirtle was hit. "Another one and it's done."

Girafarig stopped the punch with it's tail as it tried to bite down on Squirtle's hand. It unleashed another Confusion.

Squirtle's hand is caught as he got hanged. The Confusion also worked. "You ain't suffering the same faith as Treecko... I'm beating you, bloody Girafarig... Bubble on that little head!"

It thoroughly soaked the head and hurt the Girafarig a bit but it clenched ever tighter as it unleashed another Confusion.

Squirtle's hand bleeds and is hurt by the Confusion. One more attack and he's down. "CRAP! ICE PUNCH WITH YOUR OTHER FIST!"

He aims for the head on tail!

The tail recoils with the shock and lets go. As Girafarig whinnies in pain and unleashes a Confusion distorted with rage.

Squirtle shouts as loud as he can to ignore the attack. "How can it be so tough...? Ice Punch!"

As the punch connected, Girafarig gave one last cry before fainting.

Treecko gained 6 exp!
Squirtle gained 7 exp!

"Good. We must travel to Rustboro."
