Battle Style: Zack is the very definition of a protector. He battles only to protect, which means he will be passive or aggressive in his battle style based on what the situation calls for. He will never give up if he still feels any threat.

Personality: Zack is a very easy going, funny guy. He loves the company of his closest friends and family, but also welcomes others unless he feels something off about any newcomer. Zack can sometimes appear cold if he is in defensive mode, meaning any situation where he or someone he cares about could be at risk. Something that some people notice about him is that he can be rather blunt or persuasive and will pursue anything until he has an answer he wants. Zack is very affectionate to his betrothed, Aqua Rainfell.

History: Since Zack was a child, his dream was to become the strongest he could be. Others used to see him as weak or easy to push around. After a while, he grew sick of it and started training. He found his first pokemon, a riolu, rather quickly. While it was rather uncommon for an aura pokemon to be attracted to a simple trainer, Zack seemed to prove it’s worth to the Riolu with his determination and became his companion. Zack first started training in actual physical fighting style, as he would practice with his riolu, but he felt like something was missing. Around this time, he ventured off to conquer all the gyms in the Sinnoh region. He only caught two other pokemon in his journey though and doesn’t wish to catch anymore, simply strengthening the team he had. The eevee had been injured when he had brought him in and was more than happy to take him on the team. What was really interesting was along the way, Zack realized he could control wind currents. His parents where both Air Elementalists, though he had just assumed it had skipped a generation because he hadn‘t been able to do it at a very young age, but clearly it just took some time. This is how he caught his third pokemon. The rufflet got swept up in one of his currents and crashed right into him. Zack didn’t know what had hit him, but the bird was so flustered and looked like he wasn’t going to leave Zack alone any time soon. With his simply team of three, the riolu, a eevee, and a rufflet. He went around Sinnoh, battling each of the gym leaders with his team and getting stronger each time. He managed to evolve every one of his pokemon, a slight bit of assistance needed to evolve his eevee, but they were like a family. As soon as he had defeated the final Sinnoh Gym Leader in Sunyshore, he spied a girl on the beach with hair and eyes as blue as the ocean. She was a little younger than him, he being around 15. He approached her and she seemed a bit lost in thought, though as soon as they had met it was like they were perfect for each other. Her name was Aqua and she was a water elementalist, something else that intrigued him. Zack visited her everyday at the beach until she explained that her parents refused to let her come anymore. Zack was saddened by this but he made her a promise. He promised he would marry her when they were older, giving her a small ring as this solid proposal, and he would take her away from her hated life. He would be her protector and Hero forever. Though, not long after this promise, he left her there and would come back when he knew she would be ready to leave. It’s been 4 years since then and Zack has only gotten stronger. Now with his power and battling skills proven, he wonders if Aqua still remembers his promise and is now in search of finding his beloved.
