Seeking New Friends and Challenges (Mark and Alice)

"I don't think so, Gale use Thunderwave close rage!!"
A shock shuddered down Gale's slick body and over Pidgey, in the hopes that Pidgey would be further paraylized. The gust did cause Gale some discomfort, but he was a trooper and wouldn't give in that easily. He simply coiled tighter around Pidgey.

Pidgey was paralyzed now by the Thunderwave and the gust died down as Pidgey was slowly weakened by the Coiling of Gale. Falkner was about to call a move beginning
"Quickly now use San.......!"
his cry being cut short as Pidgey fainted. Falkner ground his teeth against each other clearly being irritated by this new inconvenience. He then took Pidgey's pokeball from his waist and called Pidgey back before taking another Pokeball and launching it into the air calling out
"Now then go Pidgeotto!"
Pidgeotto immediately taking flight circling Gale who was on the ground. Falkner waiting and allowing Jade to have the first move.

As Pidgey fainted, Gale relaxed and let Pidgey go, slithering back over to Jade. She patted his head saying how proud she was of him and returning him. Now it was time for the big guns.
"Rin, let's go!!"
Rin stood in the battle feild and looked over to the stands, more over to Volt actually. she blushed but quickly shook her head, now was no time to focus on her love difficulties. It was time to get their first badge.
"Rin, Thundershock let's go!!"
With a bleet Rin shot a bright blue blast of electricity toward Pidgeotto.

Ronan laughed as Volt quickly turned his head slightly embarrassed having been watching but craned his neck round once more to watch.

Falkner looked to Pidgeotto and called
"Dodge it now with Quick Attack!"
Pidgeotto moving out of the way of the attack and folding his wings in to dive bomb Rin.

Rin bleeted as the attack hit, but Jade simply smirked, hoping that Rin's static ability would kick in.
"Shake it off Rin! Now grab Pidgeotto while it's close and use Thundershock close range!"
Rin quickly grabbed onto Pidgeotto's tail feathers, but bleeted in fright as she was lifted intot he air with it. But she tried to regain herself and used Thundershock close range.

Pidgeotto shook as it suddenly turned stiff plummeting to the ground now paralyzed Falkner just muttered
"Always with the Paralysis"
as Pidgeotto was further struck by ThunderShock Now being majorly weakened and possibly a move or two from being defeated by Rin whilst unable to do anything.

"Alright!!! Rin let's finish it! Jump and use Thundershock!"
Rin leapt off from Pidgeotto and shot yet another blue wave of electricity. In the stands Abel and Cedric cheered simultaniously for Rin and their trainer. For her first battle Rin was doing amazing, she looked graceful even if she was scared out of her wits. Cedric's eyes wandered over to Volt, wantitng to see how he was reacting. And then he began to wonder if Rin would ever admit her feelings for him, cause it was blatently obvious she had a crush on the Elekid.

Volt was secretly smiling arms still crossed as always and serious as always not noticing Cedric looking.

Falkner shouted
"NOOOO!"
as Pidgeotto was struck by the Thundershock being immediately defeated and fainting on the spot. Falkner then huffed returning Pidgeotto to his pokeball and walking over
"Alright, you won fair and square, well done"
He said, plunging his hand into his pocket as he walked toward Jade. He held out the small silver object towards her along with a disc behind it.
"In proof of your victory, I give you the Zephyr badge and the TM work up, Nice Job"
Falkner disappearing through the back doors.

Ronan smiled the whole group getting up and walking over towards Jade and the doors Ronan saying
"Well Done Jade now we both have our first gym badges"
Ripple leapt up and down calling out
"Croconaw.. Croco!"
Tapping his sunglasses happily, Volt standing near the back of the group casually arms crossed looking serious quietly saying
"Elekid.. Elek"
Which was a friendly and quiet good job hoping not to be heard by anyone as it might dent his coolness in his eyes.

As Pidgeotto fainted Jade jumped and screamed in joy. Rin leapt up and down and ran back over to Jade, leaping into her open arms for a hug. Jade grinned as she accepted the Zephyr badge, placing it in her badge case.
"Thank you Falkner, good battle."
As everyone flocked around, Able leapt onto Jade and they went crashing to the ground. She laughed and stood, walking out of the gym besides Ronan and the others. Rin blushed, as she had heard Volt's compliment. With her gem glinting slighty she walked beside him, saying how she was glad he was there to root her on.

Volt flinched suddenly turning and replying
"Elekid... Elek... Kid!"
which was really `oh you heard that yeah it's fine` playing it cool. Ronan then laughed before looking to Jade and saying
"So then to Azalea City right?"
moving towards the city gate eager to continue before realizing it was getting dark. He then said
"Or should we rest up overnight at the pokemon centre first?"
awaiting a reply calmly and cheerfully.

As they stopped at the gates, Jade looked at the darkening sky. Then she turned to see Gale and Rin leaning on one another and their eyes beginning to droop.
"I think it's best that we rest tonight, everyone is pretty tired from that battle today."
Then with a smirk, Jade carefully picked up the dozing Rin and placed her on Volt's back.
"Volt, could you carry Rin to the center? She's so tired, and it would be a really nice thing to do for someone who likes you."
The word like was so emphasised that Jade might have just come out and said that Rin was head over heals for Volt. Picking up Gale she smiled to ronan.
"Let's head to the center."

Volt grimaced as his coolness was being majorly affected here replying
"Elekid... Elek"
walking down the pathway to the pokemon centre carrying Rin on his back, Ronan and the rest of the group in tow saying
"Good idea let's go"
moving down the path towards the pokemon centre.

Jade smiled and patted Volts head.
"Don't be like that, Rin has been with you even in the wild, she thinks your the coolest guy ever, no matter what. I don't think anything you could do would make her think otherwise."
with that she followed Ronan to the center, Rin nuzzling the back of Volts head in her slumber.

Volt entered the Pokemon Centre and walked over to the desk grimacing at Nurse Joy as if to say `quick keys so I can put her down`. Ronan casually walking over and asking Nurse Joy
"Hey Nurse Joy can we stay here the night?"
Nurse Joy nodded in agreement replying
"Of Course Ronan, Jade"
looking behind her desk before handing them both their keys from the night previous. Ronan then smiled and replied
"Thanks Nurse Joy and come on then Jade, Guys"
walking over to the escalator the group following as they climbed onto it. Ronan then opened his door performing the same acts as before throwing his bag down on the room's sofa and the group all climbing onto the bunk beds Ronan then called out of the door
"Night Jade, and tell Volt the room doors open when he's ready!"
him turning on the light and watching the tv or the news to be more precise, until Volt returned, who was currently waiting outside Jade's door for her to arrive so that he could place Rin down who was becoming heavier the more she fell asleep calling
"Elekid!".

JAde accepted her key and stood behind Ronan on the escalators. Instead she picked up Rin from Volt and carried her inside, leaving the door open so she could talk to Volt as the others set up for the night.
"You know Volt, you shouldn't act all high and mighty. I know you think that you're all that, and Rin thinks so too, but if you keep acting this way one day Rin might wise up and not want to even be friends with you."
Jade looked to Volt, her face serious.
"I don't think you want that."

Volt raised an eyebrow and went down the corridor to Ronan's room entering and laying down falling asleep quickly. Ronan continuing to watch the news for a further half hour, before turning off the tv and the light, shutting the door and walking over to his bed saying
"Night Guys"
before falling asleep for the night.

Jade sighed softly and shut the door, wondering what Rin saw in Volt for a moment. Gale and Cedric nestled onto the floor by the couch. Rin lay curled up on the cushions, and Able had curled up in bed with Jade. She softly rubbed the spines on her partners head, smiling and thinking how proud she was of all of them. With a soft sigh her eyes closed and she began to drift off.

The next morning Ronan slept in as usual waking up at around 10:30 am. He then made himself some breakfast whilst waiting for his pokemon to wake up, further making a cup of tea aswell taking it over to the sofa and turning on the tv he then watched the tv whilst eating it. Half an hour later the group was awake, it was now 11:00 am as they moved to the door everyone in position and opened it, thinking `knowing Jade she'd be awake already` looking around to see whether she had already left her room and gone downstairs, grabbing his key card and putting it in his pocket quickly.

Jade of course woke early the next morning, knowing Ronan sept in all the time she took the time to get many things done. Breakfast, waking her team, and returning her key card to nurse Joy. She now found herself a seat on one of te couches by the door and began to polish her Zephyr badge. It glinted in the light of the center and her team all gazed at it in awe. One down seven to go, and with this team Jade was sure they would go far.
She knew the next gym was a bug type gym, so it would all be on Cedric. At last Ronan woke and was heading downstairs.
"You're so lazy in the morning."
She poked fun, smirking as she stood and flipped her badge case closed before placing it back in her bag.

Ronan grinned as he handed back the key to Nurse Joy then looking to Jade
"What can I say"
he said
"I'm not a morning person"
moving towards the door and calling
"Come on then we better get moving"
the group that was surrounding him moving as one through the door and towards the gate of the city leading on towards Azalea Town. Ronan then said
"We should train on the way I guess so that were prepared for the next gym and once again I won't be using the easy way of winning"
knowing exactly who he was going to use. They then moved down the path and when about an eighth of the way to Azalea Town he saw a pair of pokemon a __________ and a Machamp (Male - lvl 58 for you). Ronan was ready looking to his side and saying
"Ripple your up buddy"
Ronan's partner Ripple stepping forwards ready for a fight calling
"Croconaw... Croco!"
Ronan then saying
"That sounds like your ready enough for me so Ripple use Water Gun!"
Ripple launching the torrent of water from his mouth at the __________.
(Hard so lvl's - 60-70 ok bestie)

As the congrigation of pokemon and humans alike moved from the pokemon center, Jade couldn't help but take inventory of her team. Abel the Croconaw, water. Rin the Flaffy, electric. Gale the Dratini, dragon. Cedric the Growlithe, fire. A well rounded team thus far, but she hoped for a grass type soon, and maybe a psychic type since they were one of her favorite types. It wasn't long that these thoughts stayed, for they were ambushed quickly on the route to Azela town and their next badges.
A Houndoom (Female, lvl 63) growled at them as a Machamp flexed beside her, making Jade's stomach churn slightly. With a flick of her wrist Abel wabbled over and tugged confidently on his bandana. The blue fabric now tied around his arm, since it was too tight for his neck now.
"Abel, use Water gun on Machamp!!"
Abel leapt into the air and shot a mighty torrent of water from his mouth heading right toward Machmps chest. Houndoom howled as the super effective move struck and pushed her back. Soaking wet and mad, she rushed forward, aiming a Fire Fang right at Ripple.

Ripple was hit but the move wasn't very effective as he then listened to Ronan calling out
"Now Let's use another Water Gun Ripple"
Ripple complying as he sent the gusher of water at Houndoom, at close range.

Machamp meanwhile was struck in the chest being pushed back a bit before moving aside, Machamp then dashed at Abel aiming to use a Dynamic Punch attack with all four of his arms.

Houndoom flinched back, trying to get away but was too late. She was hit with yet another super effective move and howled in pain. With a staggering step she steadied herself before runnign toward Ripple with Crunch.

Abel leapt up and shot another water gun. Close range and toward the Machamp's face. He hoped to not only cause damage, but to also damper Machamps sight with water.

Ripple managed to roll aside this time avoiding the attack before hearing Ronan call
"Now use Water Again!"
Ripple immediately launching the move at Houndoom's side and head, the gusher of water propelling itself from his jaws at high speed and pressure.

Machamp was angry following Abel with his eyes before being knocked to the floor with the Water Gun his eye sight now slightly impaired due to mass of water in them. Machamp then climbed up still annoyed and began launching a barrage of un-aimed Karate Chop's hoping one will stray and hit Abel.

Houndoom howled once more as she was struck with the water gun again. She dug her claws into the soaked earth trying to stand her ground. But the dirt was turning to mud, and her paws slipped sending her thudding to the ground. She growled softly before passing out.

Abel ducked beneith Machamp, getting brushed and brusied by random chops but kept moving forward. Ducking in between Machamps legs, he stood up and shot a gyser of water toward Machamps back.
