The Journey begins [OPEN]

The reporter followed Raymond to the pokemon center to heal his bagon. Once there, the nurse cheerfully took the pokemon, inserting it into a machine to be healed of any battle damage. She then handed the pokemon back to the trainer, and said, "Have a nice day." Nurses were nice, though they all looked the same. It made one wonder if they were all the same person..

After Raymond healed his Bagon he decided that he would find one more pokemon before he would head to Pewter City . So Raymond walked outside Viridian City where a ________ came out from of the bushes.

A poochyena walked out from behind the bushes. The pokemon wasn't paying much attention to the trainer or reporter, but more likely just walking about catching some fresh air. It was strolling along, minding it's own business when it saw the trainer, and was ecstatic. It apparently has been around people before, and it immediately walked to the trainer and sat down, much like the trainer owned it, though he|she didn't.

Poochyena, Lvl 10, Female

Raymond looked at the Poochyena. Then He pulled out the pokedex while he decided to pet it. After it gave him info about the pokemon. Raymond decided that he wanted the over friendly Poochyena. So Raymond looked at the Poochyena and challenged him to a pokemon battle. Raymond pulled his bagon's pokeball out of his pocket and let his Bagon out of his pokeball.

The poochyena gladly accepted the trainer's challenge. It pounced back, and after it saw what pokemon the trainer was using, it immediately started making a plan. It knew it would more than likely not win this battle, but it did not matter if it won or lost. It didn't attack, trying to signal to the trainer that it wanted him to go first.

Raymond looked at Bagon and said.

"Baku use Dragon Rage"

Baku sent another aray of purple flames at the Poochyena. Raymond was watching the Poochyena closely to see its response.

The poochyena looked at the purple flames, and it jumped to the side. It may have been a little loving of the trainer, but it wasn't dumb. It started charging at his bagon, and it added a little force behind it's attack, attempting to tackle the pokemon.

Raymond was impressed at least the Poochyena wasn't dumb. But Baku was hit by the Tackle and fell on his back. Raymond then said
"Baku use Leer"
Baku began to leer at the Poochyena.

The poochyena looked at Baku using leer, and it's defence lowered. It decided that this was another oppurtunity, so it started, once again, charging at the pokemon. It prepared itself for another tackle, having slightly given itself a headache from attacking the pokemon before.

Baku felt like he had been hit by a tackle to many times. So when the Poochyena came at Baku with a tackle Baku bunny hopped over the attack. Raymond didn't tell Baku to dodge but he wasn't going to let a chance like that get away.

"Baku use Flamethrower"

Baku spun around and shot and spewed a blast of flames at the poochyena.

The poochyena was caught off guard by the dodging pokemon, and even moreso when the flamethrower was announced. It knew it needed to dodge, however, so it tried it's hardest, though it still took some damage from the attack. The attack hit poochyena where it was a little weak at, so now the battle was drawing closer to it's end.

Raymond wanted to make sure that the pokemon was weak enough to be caght so he told his Baku to use Rage.
Baku ran at the poochyena at a furious pace.

The poochyena got hit by the attack, and it stumbled backwards slightly. It wasn't about to give up, so it began rushing at the bagon again to tackle it. It was attack or get captured, even though it ultimately would anyway.

Raymond watched as Baku was hit again by the poochyena. Raymond decided that one more rage would be enough to weaken it to be captured. So Raymond had poochyena use Rage on last time.
Baku once again began to run at the poochyena

The poochyena was weak, though that didn't mean it couldn't dodge. It jumped out of the way of the attack, and started rushing again for another tackle. It wasn't gonna go down without a bang.

Raymond was impressed with the poochyena's tenacity and told Bagon to dodge. Bagon once again bunny hopped over the tackle but he barely dodge it. Raymond told him to use rage once again. Baku began to run after the poochyena while Raymond readied a pokeball. Hit or miss Raymond was going to capture that Poochyena.

The poochyena still wasn't in the mood to be captured, though it still knew it probably would anyway. It was too lost in thought, and besides that, it was still stopping from it's failed tackle attempt. It was hit by the rage, and it flew a few feet away from the pokemon. It wasn't gonna get up. In fact, it was incapable of getting up at the moment. If the trainer was gonna catch it like both wanted, then he|she should do it now.

Raymond threw his pokeball at the fallen poocheyena andthe poochyena went inside the pokeball. Though whether it broke out or not only is up to the pokemon's tenacity.

The poochyena was not going to attempt to escape the pokeball. It wanted to be captured immediately after it saw the trainer, and this thought was boosted by the trainer's battling. The pokeball shook once, then twice, and finally a third time. The poochyena was captured.

Raymond decided the name the poochyena. Her name will be Myth Raymond decided. After he caught the Poochyena Raymond decided that it was time for him to head to pewter city.
