Mewku and V head to Cherrygrove

Mewku and V had been walking for quite some time and they started to get a little tired. " Hey V, I think this looks like a good place to rest for a while." Mewku pointed to a clearing, that looked like it had just been mowed, a few feet away. V barked happily. Mewku laid down in the clearing and V crawled up onto his chest and they took a little nap.

When Mewku woke up V was jumping at some fireflies, it was getting late. Mewku got up and looked around, he could see the lights from Cherrygrove City. " V, let's get goin. the City is only about five minutes away. then we can get some food and a room for the night.

Upon arriving at Cherrygrove, Mewku and V head to the Inn and get a room. After putting his things in the room he goes down into the lobby and sits down at a table listening to others talk of rumors and their adventures to see if he can get any leads on what he is after...

After a while of rather unsuccessful eavesdropping, Mewku began to scratch V behind the ear. " Well, girl, I think it's about time to call it a night. Tomorrow we can set out for Goldenrod City. Hopefully we can train for a competition a bit on the way, too." Mewku and V got up and walked in-step to the room.

Come morning there was a new girl there. She looked a bit out of place wearing kinda old fashion dress and a delicate silver crown on her head keeping her long silver hair out of her face. Beside her was a pokemon that had orange eyes, what looked like purple flames on her head, and looked like it was wearing a dark purple dress ((Ghalitia, custom)). The girl was also a egg in her arms which showed she had on white silk gloves that covered her arms past her elbows and had what looked like strange, flat blue gems on the backs of the had parts

Mewku wakes up and heads down stairs. scanning the room, he spots a girl who stands out from the rest holding an egg. "Hmm...I don't think she was here last night." V runs over to the table she is sitting at and Mewku follows. "Hi, this is V and I'm Mewku." he reaches out his hand to shake the girl's.

The girl shifts the egg in her arms so she can take the boy's hand. "I'm Elva Farina and this is Isis. Nice to meet you" says the girl shaking his hand. Her Ghalitia gives a shallow bow at the meantion of her name

Mewku looks at the egg, "So do you know what's in it? Well I also have another question. I am knew to this area, I was wondering if you knew where I might be able to find a vulpix?" Mewku then sat down and V jumped rigth in his lap. "Veee, Ev!". "Oh and V wants to know if there is any moss around."

"I'm new to the area myself. I'm from Unova so I'm terribly sorry but I don't know. As for the egg I won't know till it hatchs" says Elva

"Oh, so what brings you to Johoto? I am just exploring on my way to Goldenrod City. I hear it's a pretty big city and they might have a fire stone. And I am hoping to train V a little." Mewku began to scratch V on the head.

"Traveling, seeing the world. A firestone? Like this?" Elva asks pulling one out of a hidden pocket in the skirt of her dress

V's head popped up and Mewku was shocked when he saw the firestone. "Uhh...yeah! where did you get it?"

"I found it along with a few other stones" says Elva

"I see, would you be willing to sell it? If not that's ok, too." V looked up at Mewku, "Vee, V!". "Don't worry V it's not gunna be for you." V put her head back down in Mewku's lap.

"Sorry it is not. With luck you might be able to find one in a shop somewhere. Some shops sell only evolution items" says Elva putting the stone back in her pocket

With a slightly disappointed look on his face Mewku said, "Alright, it was nice meeting you but I think V and I should get going. you are more than welcome to join us if you are heading towards Goldenrod City." V jumped down onto the ground and Mewku got up from his chair and pushed it in.

"Thank you, I would very much enjoy some company." says Elva getting up as well. She puts her chair back in it's proper place and waits on Mewku

"Ok shall we?" Mewku said as he walked towards the door. He opened the door and motioned to Elva, "Ladies first. That is also a very interesting pokemon you have. Is it from Unova?"

"Thank you. They come from several regions though they have only recently been studied. Isis is a Ghalitia, the final form of a female Ghalia. Both males and females start as Ghalia and evolve into Ghalisa but their final forms are different. Males evolve into Ghalome while females, like Isis, evolve to Ghalitia." says Elva walking through the door with Isis

"I see. You seem to know a lot about pokemon." Mewku, with V on his shoulder, started walking down the street with Elva. "Would you be willing to have a little battle before we set off? I only have V and she is pretty young and inexperienced and we both think that a little battle would be a good idea, right V?" "Ev vee!"

"Unfortunately I only have Isis. I'm afraid it would be a very unfair fight so I respectivly decline" says Elva looking down at the egg in her arms

"Alright, V and I completely understand." V jumps down from Mewku's shoulder and starts walking next to him. "Let's set out then." Mewku and V begin to walk to the outskirts of town. Mewku is eager to catch a new friend for V and they are both excited to see the world.

Elva nods and follows along. Isis follows a few steps behind them looking around

They began to walk down the path and then they saw some tall grass just off the path. "What do you think V, wanna try it?" "Ve veee!" "Alright let's do it!" Mewku and V walk into the tall grass...
