The Making of Godzilla [Training] 144px-029Nidoran
The Making of Mini-Godzilla

Tsukino Tsubasa, an astute and aspiring trainer who has taken down the first two obstacles of the Indigo League, had recently acquired a new weapon and had to train it in order for it to be utilized and cemented into his Arsenal. The abandoned female Nidoran had hatched from its egg in front of Tsubasa in a sudden turn of events that left an area thunderstruck and in mobocracy. The blue poison type Pokemon had wrongly assumed Tsu to be its mother, and even though the trainer had been deliberately looking for a member of its species, this specific Nidoran was quite needy and proved to be quite a handful for the trainer who was more used to the conventional method of capturing Pokemon after defeating it in duel and then molding it to be mutually respectful and with purpose instead of naturally loving and listening to him obediently.

The blue Nidoran rested on Tsubasa's head as he reached a space somewhere in an unmarked region of Kanto in the woodlands off of a route. As he attempted to place the Pokemon on the floor he was faced with a lot of resistance and was outwardly annoyed by how attached the newly hatched Nidoran was to him. He pulled hard as it grabbed onto his bushy thick hair, causing himself pain as he yelled rudely and threw the Pokemon to the floor. The Nidoran would land on its four feet and immediately change its expression from whiny to determined. Tsu knew that his beast had a limited move set and an even more limited distribution of stat points which would make it quite a challenge to raise it to the extent of being useful in battle. The trainer wished to evolve it to a Nidoqueen before he faced Lt. Surge in Vermilion City. The type advantage he would then gain would be more useful to him than the disadvantage he would have gained training his Magikarp.

Tsubasa had to train the Nidoran to be on the same page with him and his unconventional methods could take some getting used to as it did for his Dratini who had blossomed into a Dragonair in his guidance. As such he would first attempt to test his Nidoran on the surrounding. "Use Scratch, on that tree, now!" He asserted a full statement. Nidoran would roar fiercely at the tree and growl in an attempt to scare the rigid structure. "No, not growl! Scratch!!" Tsu would yell loudly at the clueless quadrupedal. The confused and inexperienced Pokemon would roar harder and look more fiercely at the tree in response. Frustrated, Tsu charged at the tree and struck it with an open palm. He gestured at the poison pin Pokemon and then at the tree and repeated, "Use Scratch on the tree!" Nidoran rushed at the tree vigorously and from a feet away got distracted by the sight of her 'mother' before leaping high and climbing back onto the top of  Tsu's head, settling herself there. She would then purr forgetting all about the training session. This was obviously going to take a long time and the trainer was going to be here for quite some time.

After a lot of insistence and persuasion, Tsubasa had managed to place the Nidoran on the ground to try one again. Placing her no more than a foot in front of the tree, Tsu would assert, "Scratch!" Nidoran looked at the tree for quite some time, almost having a staring contest with the immobile entity. After a long and extended pause which seemed like ages for Tsu, the Nidoran finally moved. It swung its short paws in no particular direction using scratch but attacking nothing and just going through the motion of scratch without touching the intended target at all. Her 'mother' would sigh heavily expressing his disappointment with no hint of concealment. The baby Nidoran immediately burst into tears and attached herself to her 'mother''s leg in an apologetic manner. In return, Tsu would resist and pull away repeatedly yanking at his pants trying to shake off the Nidoran. This would continue for quite some time but the scene would be debriefed as if it was shown on an animated show and instead immediately cut to the next scene avoiding the display of prolonged and repetitive actions.

In the next scene, the same Nidoran would be face to face, so to speak, with the same tree having yet another stare down. "Use scratch, on the tree, now!" Tsu ordered once again repeating his initial command in different words which were misinterpreted by the Nidoran multiple times. The poison pin Pokemon then raised its short paw up, very slowly, and moved it towards the tree bit by bit. Tsubasa eagerly watched on anticipating for the baby beast to finally land an attack on the tree successfully without confusing itself amid processing the verbal order. As slowly as it reached the tree, the paw would strike barely impacting the rigid tree. Tsu looked on as a tiny speck of the bark detached itself from the thick tree and fell to the ground leaving a tiny and almost unnoticeable mark on the tree that virtually took no damage at all. The scratch affected the tree minimally and was abysmally useless. Unable to contain himself, 'mother would sigh heavily once again and openly display his disappointment. The poison pin Pokemon would pretend to be overworked and flip over, lying on its back with all four feet raised up and quivering like a dead insect as if she were completely beat. The training was making progress but it was imminent that the day would be long and tedious.

The third round soon commenced. As with the two previous rounds, it would start with a fierce face off between the poison pin Pokemon and the tree. Like before, Tsubasa would order the Pokemon to strike the tree with Scratch. Having understood the command now, the Pokemon charged at the tree and attacked with its claws. Tsu would ask her to do the same thing repeatedly. With each try, the Nidoran's will would grow stronger. The tiny mark on the surface of the tree would be struck over and over again, growing larger and more visible each time. Bit by bit, the bark of the tree continued to be damaged by the assault of the blue quadrupedal. She would continue to hit the exact same spot each time, stripping away bits of the bark bit by bit. The consistent swinging of her claws began taking its toll on her, growing weaker each time even though she grew stronger mentally. After a good while, the mark on the tree was more than just noticeable and the damage caused by the Nidoran could be seen clearly.

The poison pin Pokemon panted and was clearly exhausted as she looked at the tree in front of her which, by then, was severely damaged and appeared to be close to collapsing under its own weight by this point as the structure had been altered and the weight distribution was heavily uneven. Tsubasa gestured to the tree once again and the tired Pokemon hurdled herself towards it. With a display of fierce will and mental strength, she managed to heave her claws at the tree with immense force, force seemingly much stronger than all of her previous scratches combined, as she struck the tree with all her might and quite successfully managed to make it collapse. Narrowly missing the tiny beast, the tree fell at an angle with a major portion from the top part on the floor and only about a foot of the bottom half still attached to the ground. Quite satisfied, the exhausted Nidoran glanced at 'mother' for approval. Tsu approached his weapon and crouched slowly. He reached for her head with his hand, moving slowly. The trainer would give his Nidoran one abrupt pat with no expression on his face at all. This would prove to be enough for the longing Nidoran who was overjoyed and leaped back onto her strict trainer's head.

"We have no time to waste, Nidoran" Tsukino Tsubasa, the fairly experienced trainer, blissfully ordered his determined poison pin Pokemon to get in a stance. They had to train a lot more. The one tree they brought down with ages of trial and error was not enough to even begin to think about taking on the next challenge. The aspiring trainer had embarked on a quest primarily for world domination but for now he was going to challenge the Indigo League, at least until he had the funds and resources to pursue his true ambition. In order to accomplish that challenging goal, the motivated teen needed much more experience, both for himself and for his Pokemon. His Dragonair was not going to be able to aid Tsu without evolving and even then by itself it would be fruitless. Deciding to work on his Nidoran some more after having worked on said Dragonair for a long time after which it had evolved from its previous form as a Dratini, the determined trainer had called Nidoran to accompany him and let his other two monsters, the Dragonair and a Magikarp, rest for the day. The upbringing of his Nidoran would be of more use to him than the Magikarp at the point he was in in the Indigo League and he was well aware of that.

"We've done terrible on that tree and you're going to have to try much, much harder for the next few.. hours.." The strict and astute trainer stated and sighed. His blue Nidoran gave him disheartened looks as it had longed for his approval and just when she thought she had received it, was told that her work was terrible in spite of the brief appraisal she had received. Looking around, all the trainer saw were more trees, some larger and thicker than others. Deciding to continue to use the presence of trees to his benefit, the fierce trainer ordered for his poison pin pokemon to prepare herself for what was coming for her. After some thought, the boy made his beast use Growl to empower itself with morale to be able to follow the upcoming orders. It had taken the female Nidoran quite some time to comprehend the commands but being a Pokemon, she had begun to pick up the commands and read her trainer. Slowly but surely, she was beginning to understand her trainer. Roaring fiercely at nothing in specific, she looked around to see what she had coming. It would then keep at it for quite a while, muttering some things in its own form of speech and taking a few steps here and there, sort of doing a pump up dance. This was, well, this blue Nidoran's way of getting into the game and preparing herself for the rough and arduous training ahead of her. It kept at it until it was fully hyped up.

"Lets try this, Nidoran." The trainer stated firmly with a hint of excitement in his tone as he knew for sure this was not going to end very well for the surrounding trees. Instead of giving the original order, the trainer changed his mind and decided to give it a test run first. Pointing at a nearby tree, he asked his Pokemon to use Scratch on it as it had done with the tree they had brought down. Usually, a scratch from a low leveled Pokemon would only leave a small hole mark on the tough, strong tree. Hoping for the best, the trainer asked the Pokemon to continue as it looked back. Nidoran was hesitant as she approached the tree and lifted its claws from the ground. Reluctant and unsure, she looked back twice before finally striking the tree. Having learned not to expect much from the Nidoran just yet, Tsu anticipated only a small mark on the tree like before.

Just as he expected, the blue Nidoran slashed at the tree and left familiar hole marks on the bark. Sighing at the limitations of his pokemon until it evolves and develops into a stronger and more self sufficient Pokemon, the trainer covered his face with his palms. The poison pin Pokemon would look back at the disappointed mother and prepare herself to burst into tears once again. At that moment, a loud sound of something cracking open was heard. Looking back at the bark and this time much more carefully, the surprised trainer saw that the mark was much, much deeper than he had predicted. Looking more closely, there were cracks on the bark itself, that were spreading. Realizing what the cracking noise was, the trainer was finally impressed as he saw the tree crumble down to the floor soon afterwards. It was a critical hit! Amazed at how such little practice worked so well and so quickly for his beast, and how he had so easily helped his Nidoran reach that much power, Tsubasa decided to do some more experiments with his new beast.

Tsubasa was satisfied for the moment and in his good will decided to allow his poison pin Pokemon to take a brief moment to rest and gather herself in reward to show appreciation and to express that he was indeed impressed by the improvement in strength and the sudden willful display of strength and mental endurance. The blue quadrupedal attempted to make her way towards her mother and attach herself to him once again but upon stern instruction to stay still about ten feet away from the strict trainer, the Pokemon reluctantly and against her will, appeared to have obeyed. Tsubasa grinned at how skillfully he had trained his Pokemon and complimented himself. However, the Nidoran made a run towards her mother and attempted to leap onto his head only to be caught with one hand mid air and heaved back towards the tree, whining on her way back to the ground.

Looking at the many trees around them, the trainer decided to cut down more trees for the hell of it. In the process he would train his poison pin Pokemon but enjoy wrecking havoc while at it. Ordering his Nidoran to strike down a row of trees in front of them, the trainer grinned anticipating the delightful sight of the surprising power and will contained in the blue over sized rodent. The poison type Pokemon slowly walked to the tree to which it was closest to and, with another scratch, repeatedly and consistently struck the tree hard and cracked it once again with its brute power. Tree after tree, the Pokemon took down seven strong, thick trees in less than three minutes. The growing strength and the evident progress were clear to the eyes of the trainer who had seen his Nidoran go from useless to quite sufficient. Impressed by the power, the trainer applauded his Pokemon but decided that she still had a lot of training to go through before she could be used in a challenging battle in the Indigo League.

Tsubasa then asked the poison pin Pokemon to use the poisonous Venom Drench to see how it reacted and used the move. The ardent trainer did not expect as much destruction as he was aware that the move only affected already poisoned targets. However, he was not disappointed when the order caused Nidoran to shoot out a large volume of liquid produced within itself and effortlessly drenched a large area of land around it. The move was not like Toxic which would have poisoned and brought death to the life forms around it but instead was harmless as any greenery which the liquid made contact with were not poisoned and thus not subject to the effects. Furthermore, he had learned that the Nidoran had picked up on his cues and were starting to comprehend him much better than in the beginning, seeing as to how it understood him when he ordered for Venomous Drench and not like before when he had used Growl instead of Scratch. The limited move set of his blue rodent was problematic and affected the extent of her power greatly. Seeing that as the problem which was holding back the full potential of the Nidoran, Tsubasa decided to address that limitation and hopefully eradicate it soon. He had trained Nidoran a lot by then and anticipated a display of a few new moves soon. Recalling Nidoran's move set, the boy realized that he had ordered for and witnessed all of the moves the Nidoran had known from when it was hatched and it was time to see if it had learned any other maneuvers naturally.

In an attempt to solidify her ability to bring down a tree with Scratch, Tsubasa ordered the poison pin Pokemon to bring down one last, thin, tree with the move. Much more confident now than before, the Nidoran rushed at the tree and launched itself directly at it. It swung its short arm fiercely and struck the tree with her claws, piercing it and cutting it down cleanly slicing it. This in turn caused the tree to collapse much more cleanly than the other trees, this one slid right off with beautiful smoothness. Tsubasa grinned once more, growing more and more fond of the consistency of this new weapon he had acquired. The training was still incomplete. Perhaps one could say it was not even a half done. However, Tsu knew that he had to allow his fierce rodent to catch her breath and rest in order to excel and perform better in the next round. With that in mind, he ordered his Nidoran to sit in her place several feet away from himself but once again this proved to be the one order that she had trouble following.

Tsubasa looked away for a while to recall what kind of moves a female Nidoran picks up naturally and to consider how he can use the moves to enhance her performance and train her against the rigid entities. He had to prepare her for a real battle soon and expected to challenge wild Pokemon soon enough. However, the second he looked away, Nidoran zoomed at him disobeying his orders to remain still and blindsided him by jumping back onto the top of his head and making him fall over. As usual, resistance would ensue and the two would quarrel for some time. Once again the rest of the prolonged struggle would be cut from the final piece and the next scene would be shown in its place as if it did not occur in the first place. Nidoran was firm in her belief that Tsubasa was her mother and refused to let him rattle that belief in spite of his clear explanations and outwardly expressive resistance.

Nidoran stood in front of her trainer with her back facing him and herself surrounded by trees. Tsubasa had recollected the moves learned naturally by his Nidoran and if his estimations were correct, which they are, by this point in time his Nidoran would have learned five new moves; tail whip, poison sting, double kick, fury swipes, and bite. That was a significant improvement to her move set and Tsubasa expected nothing but good out of the newly gained moves. After trying out each one of them separately, he was then going to work on combined maneuvers and more complex assaults.

He decided to try out Tail Whip first even though it would not have any effect on a tree. "Tail Whip." He asserted nevertheless. Following its orders obediently, Nidoran began to focus. Looking intently at a specific tree, the poison pin pokemon got a firmer grip of the ground below its feet. Nervously but surely, she slowly twitched her tail, moving it at near unnoticeable speed. Sighing again, Tsubasa repeated his order and they kept at it until Nidoran was confident enough to provide her mother with a complete demonstration of the simple maneuver. As weak and futile as the move appeared, it would be quite useful in battle to lower the defenses of an opposing Pokemon and set the foe up for a clean and purposeful assault. Weakened enemies are much more easier to beat and the changes brought about by status altering moves were quite significant and played an important role in battles. This was a concept not understood by many and the acceptance of which separates true Pokemon trainers from pretentious wannabes.

The next move Tsubasa had recalled was Poison Sting. The first poison type move learned naturally by the poison type Pokemon dubbed the poison pin Pokemon, this particular move used by Nidoran would be affected by the same type attack boost and thus Tsubasa anticipated it to be much stronger than the previous displays. "Poison Sting!" He yelled pointing at another tree. Nidoran appeared confused once again and clueless as to what her trainer was talking about. Subjecting herself to misinterpretation once again, she used Tail Whip! The trainer had now grown more patient with the blue rodent and had decided not to express his concerns this time. Instead, he ordered for Tail Whip once again and received the demonstration of the correct move in response. Then he repeated his order for Poison Sting and Nidoran nervously shot a purple needle from her mouth in the direction of the tree. Tsubasa praised her and repeated himself once again. This time she would fire several poisonous needles towards the tree but miss again. The trainer would sigh once again before moving the Nidoran closer to her target and then ordering for the repetition of Poison Sting. The blue rodent managed to hit her target much more easily this time but in spite of the damage caused to the bark of the tree, there was no sign of poisoning. Nevertheless, Tsubasa moved his poison pin pokemon further and further away from the tree each time she landed a hit.

Finally, she stood at her initial position and fired several poisonous needles which struck the tree successfully. Tsubasa watched as the bark began to decay and the leaves somehow began to die and fall off immediately. The tree was affected by the poison more than he had expected! Nidoran cheered and leaped in celebration and Tsubasa smiled in response and decided to allow her to rest once again. Like before, he instructed the overly attached Nidoran to sit and stay put in her place far away from her trainer but once again she would rush to him and attempt to pin down and embrace her mother only to be denied and resisted heartlessly.

Next in line was double kick. Even though it would have been acquired before the Poison Sting, Tsubasa had longed to witness the Poison Sting first. Wasting no time he went straight to business, "Nidoran, double kick!" Even though it appeared to be quite slow, the ardent Pokemon revealed herself to be a quick learner as she had picked up her mother's language rapidly and comprehended her order clearly this time. Stamping on the ground a few times, she fidgeted nervously still trying to confirm and reassure herself that she had got the right move. The Pokemon looked like a miniature version of a bull about to charge. Nidoran soon charged at the closest tree. When he reached striking range, the poisonous Pokemon raised her leg and struck it once followed by an equally powerful second kick. The kicks would crack the surface of the bark of the tree but remain standing. Tsubasa would repeat his order and the poison pin Pokemon struck the tree at a different point with two more powerful kicks. Even though the thick tree stood in place, Tsubasa had decided to try the next move on the same tree instead of taking down another.

"Fury Swipes!" He would yell. Nidoran understood this as well and assaulted the damaged tree with its claws striking it multiple times. Tsubasa was sure now that this Pokemon will not have trouble interpreting moves one at a time and soon he would have to work on the complex maneuvers. He watched as the Nidoran struck the tree repeatedly and brought it down bit by bit with a barrage of swipes thrown at it with much fury. Tsubasa looked around to see that he had caused quite some damage in the area as several trees were destructed and broken down by then. He did not let that stop his training. There was one more move he had to try out and then he was going to test his weapon in war so to speak. The one move left was Bite and deciding to finish the move testing phrase as soon as possible, he skipped resting time after fury swipes. "Bite!" He asserted as the Nidoran's teeth glowed and it charged the remains of the closest tree and bit down hard without hesitation, chomping down the remnants to no more than dust. With no reluctance, Tsubasa praised his Nidoran once again and like so many times before, instructed her to stay in her place as she rests. This turns out to be the one concept that she cannot accept and her strong desire for her mother's acceptance remains unshaken.
The Nidoran was far from exhausted even after showing a wonderful display of sheer will power. However, all the trees that were brought down meant there were unhappy residents. Tsubasa had planned this all along. Dozens of Rattata and Pidgey flooded the area. The area was unsafe for trainers as the wild Pokemon were not determined around here. There could be multiple Raticate and Pidgeot nearby as well. The thought did not worry the arrogant trainer standing in the middle of all the commotion. No Pokemon of his surrendered to a worthless ambush by unorganized wild Pokemon. Quality always beats quantity. The Nidoran was confident in her abilities but the sight of angry flocks and packs unnerved her. Soon enough, clats of Weedle and Caterpie joined in on the protestation. The wild Pokemon were unhappy and had every intent on nullifying the assailant, Nidoran.

A cut scene would show a close up of Tsubasa's brown eyes seemingly turning into a red color quickly followed by those of Nidoran declaring their synchronization. A male Rattata charged at the poison pin Pokemon out of nowhere and acting almost involuntarily as Tsubasa ordered, Nidoran swiftly got out of the way and lunged itself at the opposing rodent with Fury swipes, the multiple strikes frightened the Rattata and caused it to back off, hurt. This was followed by a merciless assault on the blue rodent by multiple Pokemon. Biting and clawing its way out of the sheer amount of Wild Pokemon, she saw a large increase in her Attack stat. The presence of multiple female Pokemon triggered her ability, Rivalry, and caused her to become a menacing beast. Kicking at the multiple Rattata sending numerous rodents flying out in their unconscious knocked out states, she dodged the diving flocks of Pidgey and bit them as they drew near, stopping them mid flight and tossing them around like rag dolls. The difference in level and the increment of Attack stat were crucial factors that greatly aided this fearless Nidoran in battle.

Narrowly avoiding oncoming assaults, she continued to fight like a bloodthirsty beast. Rarely getting hit, she returned the favor each time hitting much harder than the hordes of Pokemon hurdling themselves at the rodent. All the time, Tsubasa gestured and yelled, guiding the poison pin Pokemon in her battle, flawlessly taking out each assailant one by one. With a loud growl, she intimidated the surrounding wild Pokemon and continued to mercilessly knock them out cold. Although her exhaustion was slowing her down, almost by reflex, she kept going and following each order thrown at her by her mother. Literally fighting tooth and nail as she swiped furiously at the Caterpie and Weedle at her feet and then biting the Pidgey flocks, shooting them down from the sky with Poison Sting. Weele were of course immune to this move but the same type attack boost aided the rodent to knock out several Pokemon. The fearlessness and bravery displayed by the baby Pokemon impressed Tsubasa but he felt that she was still too slow.

Amid the tedious battle, the Pokemon with wings were not the only ones flying. With the Nidoran in the middle surrounded by the wild Pokemon, the rats and worms flew out here and there, overwhelmed by the attacks thrown at them by the enhanced Nidoran whose Rivalry had by then given her a maximum Attack stat boost. The presence of the many female Pokemon agitated her and motivated her to prove herself. Her double kicks sent two Rattata flying each time. Even her Poison Stings and Bites were knocking out wild Pokemon with single hits. The Fury Swipes regularly sent three abysmally unfortunate Pokemon to their unconscious states. In between her attacks she would wag her tail to lower the defenses of unsuspecting Pokemon before taking them out effortlessly. The scene being witnessed was like a massacre. Or an orchestra where Tsukino Tsubasa was the concertmaster and Nidoran the only instrument. The sounds were made by all the other Pokemon as prompted by the instrument. Terrible wordplay.

After a long and tedious battle, the exhausted Nidoran stood in the middle of a massive horde of knocked out Pokemon. They were all very low leveled and as such Tsubasa did not allow for his beast to be overly proud of herself as by then she was much stronger in level. The training on the tree had taken her to a much higher level than the residents of such trees. However, the area was indeed unsafe, and strong Pokemon were allowed to lurk here. The poison pin Pokemon was allowed to rest for a little while to catch her breath. Tsubasa was expecting a tougher challenge to present itself soon. Nidoran was surprisingly eager to get around her next obstacle which she knew was coming soon enough. She sat down and waited. Although tired, she was not hurt too much as the hordes had barely touched her. In addition to being quite slow, the damage they were capable of doing with a single hit was minimal and all she had to do was avoid oncoming attacks and assault the nearest opponent. Several of the fainted Pokemon would get up and frightfully scatter. A Rattata near Nidoran got up only to be knocked out cold once again by a double kick.

Soon enough, a Raticate showed itself from under a tree. She crawled out and two more followed from different trees. They slowly approached the foreign Pokemon. Tsubasa inspected them and believed that they were all prematurely evolved in the wild. All three were smaller than normal Raticate. Nevertheless they were formidable foes, especially when three of them have to be fought at once. Capable of dangerous assaults, Tsubasa had to tread carefully to keep his Nidoran in battle. The odds were stacked against the trainer and his poison type. As a trainer who never let the odds stop him, he prepared himself for battle. Asserting confidently, he made his Nidoran use Tail Whip facing the Raticate in the middle, lowering her defenses. The Nidoran maintained her boosted attack as all three happened to be female rodents.

Tsubasa was going to have to go old school in this battle - sticking to his strengths. Only Double Kick could take care of these Raticates easily but to pull off the maneuver without subjecting Nidoran to serious injury was a difficult task. Giving him minimal time to think, one of the large rodents charged at Nidoran with tackle. Rolling out of the way, the combat ready Pokemon leaped at the Raticate on which she hit Tail Whip. With two abrupt kicks, one unsuspecting Raticate immediately saw her downfall. Taking her down and standing on top of the fallen opponent, Nidoran, with Tsubasa's guidance, managed to avoid an ambush by the third Raticate attempting to bit her head off. With the same move, she took down another Raticate as well. However, she was unable to move fast enough to avoid a Hyper Fang from the remaining rodent.

She was struck hard and sent rolling towards Tsubasa. Although the poison pin Pokemon landed on her feet, she was clearly injured. The same type attack boosted Hyper Fang left her hurt and surprised. Sighing, Tsubasa stuck to his plan and successfully finished the battle with a third double kick which effortlessly knocked out the third opponent as well. One would think that Nidoran had earned her time to rest but Tsubasa was discontent with her performance. Deciding to battle one lat Pokemon, he looked on as an opponent presented itself.

A Pidgeotto descended from the sky a few meters in front of the injured Nidoran. The two stared at each other fiercely without either one backing out from battle. As exhausted as she was, Nidoran wanted to take out this one last foe before she rested for the day. However, nothing was going to be that easy with a trainer like Tsubasa. He grinned as two more Pidgeotto followed, circling the poison pin Pokemon. Needless to say, the determined Nidoran seemed worried. Tsu was on a quest to prove to his beast that she will not lose as long as Tsubasa was guiding her and in that effort, Tsu was not going to go easy on these birds. However, the angry bird Pokemon were not going to do the trainer a favor either.

Acting quickly, one of the bird dove at the Nidoran vigorously. Tsubasa reacted as quickly, ordering for Poison Stings. Numerous poisonous barbs were fired at the charging Pidgeotto who avoided the attacks two time before being hit by one and getting poisoned just as it reached within a foot of the Nidoran. Acting instantaneously, the poison pin Pokemon received the order to use Venom Drench. From her mouth she shot a large amount of liquid poison with a foul stench and the diving Pidgeotto was ambushed by more Venom Drench until it was rendered near useless with its stats reduced. The two other birds would soon follow only to be met by the same maneuver. However, one of them managed to avoid the Venom Drench but both of them had been poisoned. Engaging in combat with two big birds on the ground, Nidoran assaulted mercilessly knocking them out. However, The third Pidgeotto blindsided her, attempting to take her down by hitting her with a physical attack from behind.

Just inches away from impact, Pidgeotto was taken out by a Thunder bolt from an interfering Pokemon - Tsubasa's Dragonair saving her from defeat. The last bird immediately fainted and the freightened Nidoran was finally allowed to rest. "You're too slow." Tsu stated to the poison pin Pokemon and continued to lecture her on how to improve herself.

NOTE: I AM RESTRAINING HER EVOLUTION UNTIL LEVEL 32. SHE IS A NIDORAN AT 31, NIDORINA AT 32
