Burton's first gym battle

this hit and onix fell over,about to fall on watchog

(yes but i just now realized its game gym battles and not anime ones)

"Watchognow'syourchanceLowKick!!!" shouted Burton, hoping the speed of Onix's fall would couple with the Low Kick for a Critical Hit.

As it hit,onix fell,so it didnt do anything except get closer,onix then fell directly on watchog

Watchog was clever though, and managed to use Detect just before Onix landed on him. He pulled himself out from underneath Onix's massive, still form and brushed himself off weakly. Burton breathed a sigh of relief as Watchog poked at Onix with his foot. Watchog looked expectantly at Brock as if to say 'Well? Is that it, then?'

Onix looked down for the count,but burrowed down underground to rest"almost"

Watchog just sat down and waited.
"This is getting a little bit ridiculous," said Burton, eyeing the hole Onix had made in the ground when it burrowed down.
"Watchog, hop down there and use Low Kick."
Watchog looked down into the hole unhappily. He looked at Burton.
"Watch og hog wat?" he said, glancing back down.
"Yes, you have to, or this will never end. Go on."
Watchog climbed down, and from down in the hole they heard "Watchog!"

they also heard"ONIX!!"as it was really dark down there,onix then used a sneak rock attack at its head

Watchog seemed to have ducked, because they didn't a cry of pain. They did hear a "Watch!" which sounded like Watchog had used Crunch on Onix.
"Your Onix seems... Ridiculously strong," said Burton to Brock, wondering how it had possibly survived another Low Kick after being so exhausted that it had "fainted".

Brock smiles"i train with my onix everyday,make it distribute weight,so low kicks,which are major threats,arent as strong"Says Brock as Onix got hit by the crunch,and used bind on its head,getting really weak

Burton tapped his foot on the ground nervously, waiting to hear what happened. After a moment, Watchog crawled up from the hole, looking defiant and quite annoyed. There was something wrapped around his body, so the Bind seemed to have worked. He down into the hole meaningfully, as if to say, You can't be serious. How long exactly is this going to take? He turned to Burton, looking extremely worn-out.
"Here, Watchog, take this Super Potion," said Burton, spraying it on Watchog.
"I think this battle is probably almost over though, seeing as you're 6-8 levels higher than Onix, and that Onix had already been damaged by a super effective move before you were brought into battle, and because you've used a Super Effective attack with a power of 120 over and over and over, and because Onix has already shown considerable signs of slowing down. So yeah, I'd say the odds are probably in our favor. Now let's do this."
Watchog looked quite unamused and winced because Bind had justbut clambered down into the hole once again.
"Use Low Kick again," called Burton, his fingers crossed. He could almost hear Watchog's foot swishing through the air.

This hit but onix didnt move at all

Brock smiled but had a normal face now"no way"

Burton raised an eyebrow.
"How is Onix doing down there, Watchog?" called Burton hopefully, possibly seeing a light at the end of the infinitely long tunnel.
"Watchog!" was Watchog's response. Burton looked down into the hole to see that Onix was _____.

Far knocked out from fatigue

Brock smiled"you win"Brock returned onix and watchog gained a level

"Finally! I mean, oh that's great," exclaimed Burton, while Watchog did a fist pump. He ran up to Burton, grabbed his own Poke Ball and pressed the button to return himself. Burton smiled.
"Well, is that it then? Or do I get a TM and some money or something, too?" he asked, placing Watchog's Poke Ball in one of the many pockets on his vest.

Brock tosses him TM rock tomb(which i forgot to use XD) and the boulder badge,he also gave him $600

Burton caught the stuff and smiled.
"Well, it's been fun but I gotta go." He glanced around at the giant hole that Brock would have to fill in, the dust and bits of rock strewn everywhere and the other general mess the battle had created.
Y'know, maybe the right thing to do would be to help him clean up... thought Burton...
"'Bye," he said, dismissing the idea and heading to the Pokemon Center to heal.
After getting all healed and stuff, Burton went outside and took out Pidgey.
"Hey, Pidgey, would you mind flying us to Cerulean City?" he asked. Pidgey obliged, and soon they were on their way.
