|~ Characterization ~|Appearance:Standing at 5'10", this slender man has white skin, triangular face, hazel eyes and straight red hair which is fine. One of his most noticeable features is the shadow below each of his eyes, a result of him being an insomniac. Dante wears a fashionable black colored casual shirt fashioned from cotton teamed with black colored jeans that keeps him at comfort owing to the cotton construction and washed style. He chills out wearing sneakers in white color. Detailed with a stylish upper, these sneakers are sure to add that extra touch of glamour to his feet.
Personality:This greedy, hedonistic, carnal, insensitive, antisocial, antagonistic, selfish, calm and stable individual pick and chooses so carefully whom he accepts as a friend. Although a seemingly straight faced individual, Dante will often smirk when getting something right or winning a battle. He is proficient when it comes to multitasking, and is able to monitor multiple computer screens at once. Dante is also ambidextrous, able to play darts with his left hand and stack dice with his right.
His core beliefs and philosophies are based on individualism, Epicureanism, secularism, egoism, and self-deification. He treats others as they treat him and doesn't waste his energy on people who will not appreciate or reciprocate it. This means that he never leaves wrongs unpunished, he never turns the other cheek, and shows kindness to those who deserve it.
Battle Style:Dante battles no different from the stereotypical trainer. Other than he may be a bit too brutal or "overkill" sometimes.
Past Experience / History:As a little boy, Dante Syndacco is shocked to see his parents, the con artist, Otto Syndacco and his wife Rosetta Syndacco, being murdered by a mugger in front of his very eyes. After regaining his composure, Dante realized that the death of his unloving, abusive, irresponsible parents would allow him to escape his destiny of being a member of the Syndacco Crime Family in the future. However, Dante's only option was to become a street child, but it's a choice he willingly and happily chose.
A few days after the tragic incident, Dante's relatives used everything at their disposal to search for him. Luck, intelligence and skill helped Dante escape the grasps of what could be a terrorizing future. He slept in dumpsters, stole people's wallets and foods from market to have something to eat, participated in backalley card games, gambled, and asked for alms to survive. Thievery gave Dante something to think about, "Theft is a crime and committing a crime makes me a criminal. What different am I from my family tree? No, what sets me apart from them is I have a purpose. I wouldn't steal were it not necessary for survival."
One evening, a policeman named Eraldo apprehended Dante for theft. It was the first time Dante was caught stealing. In favor of Dante, Eraldo was actually a good Samaritan. Eraldo interrogated Dante about his crime, his parents whereabouts and his story, all of which Eraldo understood and sympathized with. Eraldo convinced Dante that he would adopt him. Eraldo informed Dante that he would fight the Gognitti crime family, but Dante convinced him to cancel his plans out of fear for Eraldo's safety. It was the first time Dante actually cared for another human being.
The following years were great for Dante. He found a person who served as a loving father to him, he was enrolled in a school, lived a happy life, and Eraldo even gave him a Pokemon to keep as a pet. Until Dante discovered that all these years, Eraldo has been hiding his dark side: he is a corrupt policeman who accepts bribes and lets prostitutes off the hook in exchange for sex.
Driven by anger, depression, and frustration that the man he thought was blameless and righteous was similar as his relatives, Dante murdered Eraldo. First, he stuffed his belongings in a knapsack, snuck into Eraldo's room to steal money, went to the dining table to light a candle on fire, shoved the candle to light the tablecloth on fire, and watched the fire spread until the entire dining room and kitchen were engulfed. Dante ran to Eraldo's room and woke him up. When both Eraldo and Dante returned to the burning dining room, Dante pushed Eraldo onto the flames, who eventually burned to death.
After the fire was put out, police questioned Dante about the incident. Dante explained how everything happened, but started the entire story claiming he accidentally elbowed the candle as he stood up to go to his room in search for a picture of his parents and didn't notice the fire until he smelled something burning and when he rushed to the dining area, the fire was too big for a boy his age to do something about. An alibi the police accepted and didn't find suspicious.
