| For thousands of years the Pokémon inhabiting the little island named Ituna had been living in piece, but a few centuries ago they suddenly started to separate. The Pokémon we would call "normal-coloured" and "shiny" both claimed for themselves to be the better ones, and soon the grudge between the two tribes caused them to fight for the right to inhabit the island. It was a useless fight that cost many lives, and when there hardly was anyone able to fight, both tribes reluctantly agreed to share the island. Soon they started building new villages, and the Pinnacle Ridge, a long mountain range dividing the island, became a symbol for the seemingly insurmountable differences between the Pokémon...Welcome to the informative thread about my RP idea named "Equal except for the colour". This RP is supposed to be based on the "Mystery Dungeon" series (minus the "Human becomes Pokémon" part), which means you play as a Pokémon rather than a trainer. The story takes place on a small island named Ituna: - Map of Ituna:
Desert: The high north of Ituna is covered by a sandy desert that only few Pokémon can survive in. Despite that fact the desert actually is inhabited, mostly by Rock-, Ground- and Steel-type Pokémon. The Desertland Palace is the residence for the desert land's leader Garchomp. Grassland: The biggest part of the island appears as a fertile grassland that is inhabited by a lot of Pokémon. Divided by the Pinnacle Ridge, the two big tribes of Nysih and Marlon built their villages here. Aquana River: The Aquana River is the habitat of many Water-type Pokémon that don't live in the sea around Ituna. Rising from the Aquana Spring at the southern edge of the desert, the river is the only source of water for the high north. Pinnacle Ridge: The Pinnacle Ridge is the mountain range that divides Ituna into two halves. It contains a complex system of caves, tunnels and dungeons. A few of them have established as paths for travelers, others hardly have been discovered yet.
If you want to join, just fill out the following form: Name: Your character's name (not the species!). Species: Any non-legendary Pokémon is fine, but I recommend not to choose an extremely powerful one. And please mention if your Pokémon is normal or shiny!Age and level: Be realistic. A one-year-old Pokémon can't be at Level 99 or so. Levels beyond 50 need a very good story! You usually won't have much trouble if your Pokémon's level isn't more than twice his age. Gender: Male, female or neutral. Appearance:Doesn't need to be very long. If your Pokémon looks different from other examples of his species, describe what's different. Character:Describe how your Pokémon behaves in certain situations, what he is like and so on. Mentioning how he thinks about the whole separation story would be a very good idea. Nature:Choose one of the 25 natures you can find in Pokémon games. Try to be realistic though - a Pokémon that is afraid of nothing shouldn't have a Timid nature, for example. History:Write a few sentences about your character's past. The older your Pokémon and the higher the level, the more story you need. Location: Where does your Pokémon live? You can choose one of the villages (depending on your Shiny/Normal choice), the grassland or even the desert! Note that if you decide to live in one of the villages or the desert, you will be connected to that tribe unless you decide to run. Moveset: Four moves only. You can learn new moves during the story, if you want. - Code:

| Name: Thunder Species: Pikachu (shiny) Age: 8 Level: 10 Gender: Male Appearance: Character: Thunder doesn't really like the thought of normal colors and shiny Pokémon not liking each though. He believes that all Pokémon are equal, but due to his timid nature, he keeps it to himself, and goes along with that the older and stronger Pokémon say and agree on, even though he doesn't think it's right. Nature: Timid History: Thunder grew up on the island all his life. He was taught that shiny Pokémon were better than normal colored ones, and that the two kinds were split for that very reason, even though they agreed to share the island. Location: Grassland. Moves: Thundershock, Tail Whip, Growl, Thunderwave. |
