Marina is a strong willed woman with an even more fiercer determination to rise to the top. She was born in Lavender Town and is no stranger to the paranormal. That said, her parents were killed in a natural disaster that shook the Kanto region when the Hoenn region was hit by both Kyogre and Groudon clashing in the great war between Team Magma and Team Aqua. This happened when she was fourteen years old, so she got jobs to get by, mainly helping out at the Pokemart until she was alright enough to start her own pokemon journey. With some of her money she bought a copy of the Technical Machine of Dig. She figured it was a smart starting move as it was one of the powerful ground type moves, as well as what she could afford. It was a good thing she did purchase it as she had vital need for it for her first pokemon.

Her favorite pokemon type is definitely the Ghost type. As such she is extremely talented with the ghost type abilities as well as darkness abilities.

That said she is also very dangerous with the rest of the elements, due to studying hard and learning under many different trainers over the years. Shockingly, her first pokemon was not a Ghost type.

First pokemon: Vulpix

When she left Lavender Town, she left with great caution as she had no pokemon of her own. She found that she wouldn't need to search hard. There was heavy rain that day and a large number of water pokemon had gathered in a crowd due to a commotion. Apparently a Vulpix had wandered into the rainy area and was facing off against an electric type. Normally a Vulpix wouldn't have had too much trouble, but with the powerful rain that was falling and the fact that her fur was wet, this fire type was in huge trouble against the lightning fast Pikachu which had decided to pick a fight with her.

Marina remembered the electric type's main weakness, and without giving it a second thought tossed the TM at the Vulpix in combat. In a moment, the fire fox had learned Dig, which it immediately used, hitting the Pikachu with a powerful headbutt from underground. Upon the victory, she turned to see Marina who was standing behind her and she knew at that moment that they were destined to be together. She raced over to Marina and leaped into her arms and nestled there.

From that moment on, Marina and Vulpix were inseparable, and she knew that she'd have to find other pokemon to make sure that ground and water types didn't hurt them too badly. She decided to travel to the Jhoto region to find different pokemon, she had also heard that the champion of Sinnoh region had found a way to create Ice and specialized moss stones that would evolve certain pokemon with a special energy in ways that a leaf stone wouldn't. She didn't realize it yet, but Jhoto was only the beginning.



Marina's aim: To become number one. It is the aim for a lot of trainers, but in this case, she is determined. She wants to prove that Vulpix and she are one of the toughest pair around.

Her battle style: Swapping pokemon for resisting pokemon, or pulling out a shock type move from a pokemon that doesn't usually use that type are typical strategies for Marina. Seeing Vulpix pull out Dark Pulse or Shadow Ball is not uncommon, or even Energy Ball (Grass type). She is always hunting for ways to make her team stronger, and as superior as she can be. Double teaming a powerful combo like the Will O Wisp, Confuse Ray combo is another combat strategy she employs with Vulpix. As of yet she only has the one pokemon, but she always looks for the strategic pokemon to complete her collection. Seeing a Lanturn or a Glaceon isn't an uncommon idea to her, and she aims to get one of each of those two.

Personality: For someone so determined, she's surprisingly gentle natured. She loves pokemon more than anything else, and she will always protect her pokemon (or even others pokemon) with her very life if need be. Her friends are the same way, she would protect them, no matter what the cost. Vulpix is the exact same way, so they look after one another.

Appearance: Precisely as in her picture, however if it doesn't show up for some reason, she has long green hair, pale skin and blue eyes. She doesn't flaunt her appearance, but she doesn't hide it either, she is in the middle of the road. What she wears in the picture (Beige Tank top like shirt, black mini skirt) is what she wears in on her journey. Only addition is the pokebag which is strapped to her waist so that she has easy access to all her items.

Likes: She likes kindhearted, caring people, especially those who will not hurt a pokemon. She also likes funny people.

Hates: Abuse and mean spirited people. She also will really get angry when she sees a pokemon being hurt. If she sees a trainer mistreating their pokemon, she will attack that trainer without much warning, she hates it with an extreme passion.

Favorite Types of Pokemon: Ghost, Dark, Fire

Liked Types of Pokemon: All else save one

Type that scares her: Bug type pokemon. She will still use them, but she has to get to know them very well, because normally Bug pokemon scare her until she knows the particular pokemon well.

Administrators have greatly altered templates.

Shadow, like Fang has stated, having altered templates is okay so long as all of the information is present. please tell me this trainer's Vulpix's level, learn set, or even personality? What about trainer type? Items? You see, not all information is present, which merits a request to follow what's on the template.
