1 on 1 between Adrian Hunter with Rio (Markj1998) and Ryuji with Pignite (Ryuji)

Adrian wandered into the battle arena to the sound of a cheering audience he was more of a coordinator than a trainer but, he'd received a challenge on his Pokegear from a trainer called Ryuji and he fully intended to accept it. Rio was on his shoulder as always and they observed the cheering crowd whilst awaiting their challenger.

Ryuji never fought a coordinator before, so this will be something new to him. He has no clue what to expect from Adrian, but he intends to win this battle no matter what. As Ryuji enters the arena the crowd started cheering him on. This wasn't his first battle in the battle arena, so they know what to expect from this trainer. Except, the last time he battled here was before tepig evolved into pignite. "Let's do this." Ryuji says to the pokeball in his hand which contained pignite. Pignite is usually out of his pokeball by Ryuji's side, but today they wanted to surprise the crowd so they decided he should enter the battlefield from his pokeball.

Ryuji threw the pokeball into the air, a bright blue light released from the pokeball as it split open in half and revealed pignite. The crowd's cheer became noticeably louder as they saw that tepig had evolved. "Let's begin, use sunny day pignite, followed with flame charge!" Ryuji gave the command and the battle had begun

Adrian immediately thrust his arm forwards Rio running along it and front flipping over the Flame Charge, Adrian then said to Rio
"Careful buddy Flame Charge increase their speed and that could make this tougher so, let's return the favour use Quick Palm"
Rio knowing this particular combination move as it was one of their signature moves quickly dashing forwards at Pignite with speed using Quick Attack to get by; charging up a Force Palm the entire time before, thrusting the Force Palm at Pignite's back hoping that the power would be substantially increased by the velocity from the Quick Attack.

Adrian watched taking note in his head of all the different factors in this battle in particular, Pignite's reaction times and the moves that Pignite was using as well as their opponents battle style; he was quick with these sort of things through his coordinator's brain.

Ryuji wasn't surprised with them dodging the attack so elegantly, them being coordinators and all. Ryuji had never heard of an attack called quick palm, so he had no idea what to expect. "Use defense curl!" Ryuji quickly said to pignite so he could lessen the damage somewhat and then learn more about this new move as they see it play out. And they did, it was amazing. They combined the attacks quick attack and force palm to make quick palm. Ryuji had dabbled in combining attacks before, and funny thing is that everytime he did it, it was in the battle arena. The attack connected with pignite, but luckily defense curl took some of the damage down, but not a lot. "Let's give them a taste of their own medicine." Ryuji thought to himself. "Pignite, use Flame Charge and Arm thrust!" Ryuji commanded, and pignite quickly acted by stomping his feet on the ground creating a dust cloud around him, at the same time lifting his arm in the air for the arm thrust. His body covered in flames, he charged at Rio and attempted to connect with their new attack, Flame Thrust. The added speed from the flame charge would add more damage to the arm thrust attack which made it seem like a copy of Quick Palm, combining speed and power.

Adrian planned for any potential `counter` attacks hence why he had his own calling to Rio
"Counter now Rio"
Rio immediately becoming outlined in orange as, he waited the attack then hitting but of course due to the move `Counter` Rio took no damage from it and the attack was sent straight back at Pignite with all of it's power meaning that the fact their opponents had powered up the move as a combo was just all the more helpful for them. Adrian then called
"Next follow it up with Blaze Break"
Rio performing a front flip immediately after the counter attack struck and as his foot caught fire with the move Blaze Kick he also drew his hand out; the hand glowing a bright white. Rio then went to strike with his blazing foot and if it struck he would rotate sideways in a barrel-roll motion and strike again with the Brick Break; if not he would side swipe Pignite with the Brick Break so either way the Brick Break would be attempted it's just whether it was with the Blaze Kick acting as a distraction or connecting for a powerful double hit combo move.

(Just showing off Adrian and Rio's contest like finesse don't worry or get annoyed cause I promise Rio will take damage and take a hit i'm not gonna dodge/counter everything)

Their own power worked against them as the opponent used counter. Pignite was starting to struggle to get up, but with Ryuji's motivation he quickly got up and stood ready for the next move. "Good work Pignite!" Soon after the opponent tried another combination attack. "Dodge it!" Ryuji said quickly, Pignite then jumped backwards and avoided the blaze kick, however he had no idea of the brick break which followed the blaze kick and got hit. "Pignite!" Ryuji yelled, it was clear he started to worry and it seemed as if the opponent was too strong for them. But Ryuji wasn't one to give up that easily, no, so he gave his next command. "Use Ember now Pignite!". Pignite took a deep breath and quickly exhaled flames from his snout aimed at Rio, the sunny day which was active made this move even more dangerous.

Adrian saw Pignite begin to build up the attack as did Rio but, as Adrian was about to call to him to dodge it the attack struck sending Rio reeling back due to the fact the Sunny Day increased the Ember's power. Adrian then smiled and said
"Ok then let's kick this battle up a notch, Rio use Force Break"
Rio smiling as he moved into position as quickly as he could charging up a Force Palm attack and building the power in the same hand which glowed white for a Brick Break attack. Rio then sending the hand in full power in an attempt to do maximum damage first would come the power from the Brick Break attack then the explosive damage from the Force Palm attack which built up within a blue orb in his attacking hand.
