This is not supportive.
This is one of the most unsupportive things you could have done.
Ian needs our backing so that he knows that whatever decision he makes, WE WILL SUPPORT THAT.
He will feel guilty reading this. He needs to know that we love him enough to let him go, and to wait for him, if that is what he chooses.
Ian needs to realise that we love him so much, and we know he is strong enough to move forward and that we want him to live for himself.
Ian does not exist for you. Or for Titan, or for me, or for this site. We were lucky to have him, we will be lucky if he comes back, whether he role plays or not. And everyone who meets him in real life and who he helps or just hangs out with is lucky, too.
You'd be better off having this deleted, Serina. I don't like starting drama in public but this is getting ridiculous, and I think it's selfish, and he's just going to hurt even more.
I'm sorry. Rip my rep to pieces, warn me, whatever. But somebody needed to say it. And I hope others do, too, if they feel so inclined.
EDIT: I would also like to point out that I am offended on behalf of myself and others who put so much work into this site. I mod everywhere, I work hard to do what people want. Teddy has put so much into this site, Jake isn't a mod and she tries really hard, I know someone else who wants to be a mod so that she can help. I think without Ian there, we can keep the site afloat. He isn't the only pillar pulling the place up. He works hard, he helps a lot, yes, but thanks for your faith in the rest of us. Really.
