Challenge of the Rocks

Lucy has finally reached town, she stepped out of the Viridian forest.
"Well...we're not quite there yet...I think we have to get out of Route 2 first...." She said, mostly to herself and her two traveling companions who weren't far behind.

Arlon smiled, Noibat perched atop his shoulder. "Won't be too long now, Route 2 can't delay us too long unless you guys wanna do some training. I don't mind, I'm perfectly fine with whatever.", he stated, looking to Teddy who pointed something out that was underneath Lucy's feet. "Hey Lucy, there's something underneath your feet.", Teddy stated as a Ferroseed revealed itself from it's hiding spot. Meanwhile a fierce looking Staraptor circled overhead, and a small, fearful Azurill jumped into Lucy's arms.

Lucy held onto the Azurill, "Don't worry...you'll be okay...is that..." Lucy began, focusing on the Staraptor above, "A shiny?"

Apollo released himself from his Pokeball, having sensed the danger from within the sphere.
"Char!" He shouted, growling both at the Ferroseed and the Staraptor.

"I don't think we can take the Staraptor...on our own." Lucy told Apollo, and another Pokeball clicked open, Jupiter tumbling out.

Azurill seemed relieved that he was in the hands of such a capable and loving trainer. He nuzzled against her and began to sing, putting Ferroseed to sleep almost instantly. Arlon felt the effects of the song, falling asleep and knocking Teddy to the ground, sleeping on top of him. Teddy seemed a little annoyed by this but cared not. Arlon's Noibat seemed unaffected and was flying in the air, looking towards the Staraptor that had began a dive towards it, in an attempt to use Close Combat. The small bat began to fly away from the larger bird, avoiding her attempts to make physical contact.

Lucy, felt a bit tired from Azurill's song, but managed to stay awake, she looked down at the ground, "Oh! I'm sorry!" She said, jumping off of the sleeping Ferroseed.
"Jupiter use thundershock on Staraptor!" She commanded. The Pikachu perked up, not having been paying attention before. Her cheeks lit up and she sent a bolt of electricity at the bird Pokemon.

"Apollo use ember on Ferroseed!" Lucy then commanded her other Pokemon. The orange lizard opened his mouth, spewing fire at the sleeping Pokemon.

IC:

The Noibat flew at Arlon, hitting it's Pokeball and retreating inside as the Staraptor began to gain altitude after losing it's first target's presence. As Jupiter's Thundershock went towards her, the Staraptor dodged it majestically, and chose to stare down upon Lucy with what appeared to be intimidating eyes.

Ferroseed on the other hand, being asleep couldn't do anything about the embers fired at him by Apollo and was hit, but surivived nonetheless, still asleep.

Arlon was still asleep on top of Teddy, who by this time had given up on getting Arlon, who was heavier than Teddy off of him.

OOC: Debating on if I want to catch Ferroseed

Lucy felt incredibly intimidated by the Staraptor, "Apollo...use Dragon Rush!" She quickly commanded. The Charmander turned his attention to Staraptor, his head glowed blue and his body was surrounded by a light blue aura. Apollo ran at Staraptor with great speed, jumping into the air, trying to ram into the flying Pokemon. Jupiter used another thundershock at the Pokemon, hoping it wouldn't miss like last time.

Staraptor had little intent on being hit, throwing out a Double-Team to avoid both of the attempts Lucy's Pokemon made to hurt her. Thus the bird Pokemon kept it's altitude above Lucy, glaring down at both Apollo and Jupiter. she released a powerful Whirlwind before flying off into the distance towards Pewter City. With Staraptor gone, that left Azurill and Ferroseed. Ferroseed was still asleep, and Azurill still in Lucy's arms.

Arlon was still asleep, but Teddy had finally managed to get out from under him.

Lucy was blown a little of course as a result of the whirlwind, "We should finish this battle anyway... Apollo finish Ferroseed off with ember."

Apollo shook his head, readjusting from being blown off course. He opened his mouth and let out small flames from it, targeting Ferroseed.

The Ferroseed fainted. Apollo and Jupiter gained 9 experience since they were both relatively involved in the battle.

Teddy kicked Arlon, jolting him awake and helping him up. "So Lucy, it seems that Azurill's taken a liking to you. Planning to keep it around?", Teddy asked her as Arlon brushed himself off and Noibat came back out of his Pokeball to join them.

Lucy put the Azurill on the ground, she fished through her bag's pocket, pulling out a Pokeball.
"Well...if Azurill's willing to tag along." She said, placing the Pokeball on the ground in front of Azurill.

Apollo and Jupiter seemed rather gleeful, having both gained a level from their latest match.
